I had an amazing experience with Thrifty Rooter! They tried to squeeze me in because I called late in the day, but told me it would be close because they had so many jobs to do. When they couldn't make it that day, they called and asked me if it would be ok to come first thing in the morning. It was a very respectful thing to do. I think if I had said no, they would've probably found a way to come that night. But I said it was ok. So they called first thing the next morning, to see if it was a good time, and I was grateful for this because I was packing for a trip and getting ready to run some errands. The reminder was very helpful. Caleb showed up within 10 min of the call and was very friendly, professional, and great at his job. He was nice to my dogs who kept bugging him, and I was shocked at how quickly he was finished and my sink was unclogged. Was a great relief before my trip, so I could relax and enjoy Disneyland with my kids! I will definitely use Thrifty Rooter again if I ever need plumbing.

I recommend Thrifty Rooter for any and all plumbing and rooter problems. Over the years we've called them for various issues including the toilet backing up into the shower and the kitchen sink not draining. The techs are always on time, polite, and explain everything. At $75 an hour their prices are competitive.

These people are the worse damn plumbing service company in Marysville an Yuba City .The lady on the phone is very imperfessional the plumber was 4 hrs late.an he couldnt unclog my sink .They try charging me 150.00 for 2 hrs .when the damn guy spent most of his time on the phone texting .its a joke.I know we live in a trashy .drug .infested town .but where did these damn people get a license to run a company ..trash.trash.trashy..It is worth paying a different company to service your plumbing..You been warned .read the rest of complaints..

They advertise regular business hours are 8 am - 7 pm & 24 hour emergency services. This was Wednesday afternoon & nobody is available until Friday. I offered to pay an emergency fee since I have 2 bathtubs with standing water & cant flush toilets. When I pointed out their hours they advertise the lady answering was rude telling me I already told you nobody can be out until Friday.

These folks are frustrating. Called to have them to fix a toilet. They were able to get to my home within a few hours. Shawn (or Sean) the service guy was very polite and fast! I paid much less than expected, however they only fixed half the problem. Can't believe he left when it was so obvious the toilet wasn't working properly. Frustrated.

Got here faster than promised and fixed our problem. It was harder than I expected and they went out of their way to make sure we were up and running. He never gave up until everything was working and we were so appreciative. I live in Arbuckle and it is hard to get people to come here. They gave me their hourly rate on the phone, no call-out fee that other people wanted to charge and even gave me a 10% senior discount. They will get good referrals from me!

This is the worst service I have ever had. Their worker Brandon showed up at my house with a trainee and would not listen to one word I said. My toilet has been leaking slowly since the last time they were here 2 months ago. I asked him to check the wax seal. He would not listen, proceeded to tell me I needed to just ""Let him do his job"". When did customer service mean not listening to the customer at all? They left a dirty mess in my bathroom, apparently cleaning up after themselves isn't part of their job. The frosting on the cake was the names he called me under his breath on the way out. Stay away from this business. When you have to call them more than once and it is STILL LEAKING then it's not saving you money.

Thrifty Rooter has been coming out to our house for 6 years. We have issues with tree roots clogging our toilet up. BTW we rent, and if it was up to me the tree would be gone. They're fast, funny, polite, always going the extra mile to make sure they've done their job right.

One guy a few years back even came out on his day off to fix a broken pipe that burst in our garage. Every 2-4 months they come out snake the pipe on the roof, pull the toilet up to get the roots out, unclog the sink, and tub. Ed, Jack, Jerry, Mark, and AZ, all are great to get the job done.

We've had emergencies late at night and a few early mornings. Instead of getting an answering machine, and leaving a messages. We spoke to someone right away, and within in a few mins they had someone here to fix our problem.

Everyone that we've spoken to at the call center are nice and friendly. If the plumber is running late, we get a call explaining what's going on, and how long it'll be. I like the fact, we get those calls instead of waiting around for hours not knowing what's going on, and when they might show up.

Mark even fixed my gate that had a lose screw, so my pup wouldn't get out.

I love these guys. The drain cleaners are kind and work hard. They get paid a percentage of what the hourly rate is. If they cant clear the drain, or if they have to have someone else clear the drain. They dont get paid. Twice now Ive had them come out to clear the main line. Twice now Ive had two different young plumbers come by to clear it. BOTH, were very nice, and ready and willing to work hard to clear the line. This time "" Will"" came out and was here on time. He went right to work.WE talked as he tried to clear the line. I told him he would probably need a bladder bag. Thats what cleared the line before. He was not authorized to use on. So he called his supervisor. His Supervisor came out and also tried to clear the line. I again mentioned the bladder bag.

After about an hour, the supervisor gave in and sent Will on a journey to get a bladder bag. Another 45 minutes later, Will.showed up with the bag. The supervisor ran the line again. WHALAH!!. The line cleared.

I WAS execting a huge bill. NOT.!!. I was only chargec for an hours work. NIce. Being on a tight budget and not expecting a blockage in my line. I thought they were more than fair. I will have them back. Love these guys!
