Martin came to fix our clogged kitchen drain around 8 am but we had slept very poorly the night before and were completely asleep when he knocked. We slept through his phone calls as well and he ended up having to wait 30 minutes for us to wake up. When we finally woke up and let him in he was incredibly understanding and professional and made quick work of the drain. Thank you so much Martin and so sorry again!

Our washer wasn't working and it wasn't draining properly. I called my plumber I always used but he couldn't fix the issue. He recommended Thrifty Rooter and they got the job done! They were able to come out the same day I called them, and were in and out in about an hour. They were priced very reasonably with fast service and turnaround time. Will use them the next time I have any issues with plumbing!

The WORST business I've ever dealt with. I later found out they overcharged me. Plus, they canceled an hour before they were scheduled to come. I should have known they were shady when they had trouble producing their insurance verification... avoid at all costs!!!!

Our office had a sewage line clogged between the building and the main line. We're in Hollywood and I called Thrifty who is in Burbank.
Martin arrived in less than 30 minutes and he had the pipe unclogged quickly.

I really want to thank Thirfty Rooter again and my two favorite guys, Chuy and Armando for their amazing service. There's nothing worst than having your mainline not working and these guys cleared it out super fast! Their prices are great and if there was an option to leave them 10 stars, then I would. Great great company!!! - KG

The ""customer service"" of this company is ""very, very, very poor.""
If I can rate it for ""no stars"" I would.
My landlord called this company for the second time now. In both times, their plumber was ""late."" When I have made my appointment for today's service, I explained to them what I had ""requested to fix the drain in my tub, the knob in my shower, and the faucet replaced in my bathroom sink."" I have informed her that I need to leave at 12 noon because I have to go to work. The secretary in their office, her name is Susie, gave me a ""window"" of 9am-11am for the plumber to come.
The plumber came at 11am. Then, checks the work to be done, with ""no tools on his hand."" I told him that I need to leave at 12 noon to go to work. He checks the work to be done. I told him that I had requested for the ""faucet to be replaced."" The plumber said that ""you just have to clean it."" OMG! Why is the plumber telling me to clean the faucet when I am requesting him to replace it? The plumber then goes down at his truck for 30 mins.
I was ""VERY UPSET"" that I called the office. The secretary said that if want to have the job done, it takes time. I know it takes time. So why, she scheduled the plumber to come late, when in fact, she"" KNOWS how much time approximately the job would entail.""
The plumber finished the job. I was ""late"" for my work for 2 HOURS.
Their secretary never apologized for their ""inconveniences"" that they have caused to me --- from the schedule, to the plumber, and their over-all ""very, very, very poor customer service.""

I found Thrifty as always helpful and efficient. Sabrina in the office is
very nice and they're always on time and get the problem resolved.
They're also reasonable and work with you.

My drain pipe behind my washer got clogged and all I needed was it to be snaked. I called Thrifty R and the rep. seemed unsure but the quote was basically $90. Instead of scheduling an appt., I called Roto Rooter & Rescue Rooter trying to find a better deal. First, Roto Rooter had an online offer but the rep who showed up briefly looked around and said it was $240 without even observing the extent of the clogging. He said the online special won't apply but never explained what it is that I needed. Next Rescue Rooter came and the rep went on and on about how his snake won't fit my drain pipe and that changing the ""P-trap"" was $795. The rep also quoted $190 for an unspecified job but would not honor the $50 coupon. Rescue Rooter stuck his snake in my drain and caused for water to flow out. The rep. lectured me about calling other plumbers who are on commission and they would try to scam me into something I don't need which is exactly what he was doing!! Finally Thrifty Rooter came with the snake, quickly fixed the prob and charged me the $90. obviously the snake went in with absolutely no problem!! Stay away from the other two if you don't have time for BS. I have never written a review on YELP but felt compelled to relay my experience.

Our property management company has been working with Susie from Thrifty Rooters for many years. They were always friendly and quickly to respond. Their service personal since its a family business compared to the big franchise plumbing companies.

Thrifty Rooter is always available just a phone call away. I really love that about their service when they first started.
Lately, I am not sure if they hired someone new, but the person on their telephone lines sound rather harsh. This happened the last time I called in to set up an appointment for repairs at my home.
She said that they would call me back, but she didn't take my details, in order for her to call me back. I waited a day and when there was no sign of a return call, I did so myself. There was someone new on the line and the experience was much different, but that initial one was a downer for me.
