I had a clogged sewer main that was slowing drainage around my house. Thrifty responded to my Yelp request very quickly. They gave me a great price and came out twenty minutes after I called. The plumber was very polite, and solved the problem with the drainage in about an hour. He also made recommendations for future repairs, but didn't pressure me about it. I'm very happy with their work.

Toilets plugged up this morning and found Thrifty Plumbing with great ratings on Yelp. So took a chance and they sent Chuck out. He got here before the arrival time so was pleased about that! He ran a snake though the line and came out with roots on the tip. The price was A OKAY! I will use this company later to fix the leak in sewer line! Again thanks to Chuck for job well done!

Mike is awesome! Immediately responds to my Yelp messages. He explained to me my options regarding my undermount kitchen sink replacement and even contacted suppliers to find the right sink size for my needs. Excellent customer service that is a rarity nowadays. Thumbs up to Thrifty Plumbing!

I am disappointed with Thrifty Plumbing. The problem was small and he was done in 10 minutes. He told me he wouldn't have charged me anything but since he had to drive all the way to Modesto he was going to charge me. He originally said $60 but then charged me $30 more. He also said he hadn't been busy, which I guess is why he charged me and then increased the amount.
I'll make sure to choose someone else so I don't hear that driving to Modesto is the reason to charge me extra.
I know hiring a plumber can be expensive but I'm most disappointed with saying one price and changing it, and then complaining because he had to drive across town. I would think sometimes you go where the job takes you and not claim it would have been free but since he had to drive, he's charging me.
I'll make sure to call a company close to me to avoid the complaint that he had to inconvenience himself driving to my home.

We had a leak in our kitchen faucet hose. The plumber showed up and took about 5 minutes to determine that they needed to order a hose. So they placed one on order (they said it would be about $20) and came back a couple of days later on Monday after the hose was delivered. They were working on a job close to our house so they made a quick trip over here and replaced the hose in about 10 minutes or less (I did not time them). Then the bill came and they charged us for two visits even though the second visit price was never mentioned before and the hose was over twice what they said it would be on the first visit. I do not think that a hose for a kitchen faucet should be $48. It actually took him longer to make out the bill than doing the repair. The plumber was very nice and did a good job, but plan on paying for two visits and a big mark up on any items that need to be bought unless they have the specific items in stock. Without the surprises on the bill the rating would have been higher but I would not call them ""Thrifty"".

I hired this company to replace my water heater. It had gone out and we had a consult scheduled with another company who failed to show up. I contacted Thrifty Plumbing to see if they could help us out, and thankfully they were able to come the next day. The plumber showed up on time and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. The best thing - Thrifty Plumbing was by far the best price! We will definitely be using them in the future.

Would highly recommended them! Needed a new tub faucet installed after a remodel. Paul came out twice as I needed some additional stuff. He let me know exactly what I needed to get so the faucet could be installed. Called back and he was able to come back a few days later. They worked around my schedule and the ladies in the office are so nice. Paul was great as well. The cost was less than expected too.
