We have had Thrifty plumbing do so much work at our cabin & everything they have done is top-notch! We had a huge mess with a sewer line backing up & they recommended a terrific clean-up service & then Dave did a tremendous job of putting a new line in for us. He also tackled the very difficult task of installing a wall-mounted toilet for us & it was perfectly done, too. I bought a new bowl sink for our bathroom & he took care of installing that with all the needed changes! They are also trustworthy & prompt!

JUSTIN is THE MAN!. He installed a wall-mount toilet in my 60's cabin. He single-handidly carried a 70 lb toilet bowl up to my 2nd floor bathroom and replaced a 60's wall mount toilet with a new one! The old one could barely flush anything more than urine....if you know what I mean!
Even though there were challenges with old wall bracket, Justin used his 19 years experience to make it work! He is the King of the Mountain plumber as far as I'm concerned.

Goodwill continues into the new year with this company! Justin literally saved the day! Unbeknownst to me, the water was shut off at my complex for repairs. I had several very important meetings down the hill that day, and knew I was already cutting it close time wise. I stepped into the shower...NO WATER! I panicked and went looking for the culprit.

I found Justin climbing out of the back of his plumbing truck and let him have it. ""Did you turn the water off? I wasn't notified!"" It didn't take Justin long to figure out he was dealing with a woman in a crisis - I was holding back the tears. I started pleading with him. ""PLEASE, can you turn it back on? I ONLY need it for 10 minutes! I HAVE TO take a shower! I wasn't notified!"" I stammered on.

He calmly explained to me that the HOA had sent out a written notification, and that there was no way he could get the water back on for at least an hour, as he had just cut a bunch of pipes. I'm sure I had the ""deer in the headlights"" look on my face. Justin surmised I was in a quandary and took pity on me. He even told me if it was THAT important I could take a shower at his house. Who does that??!!

As I continued to hyperventilate and drone on about not being notified, he made no promises, but said he would see what he could do. Within about 20 minutes he had the water back on for me. I rushed to take a quick shower so he could turn it back off and get on with his repairs, but when I left for my appointments, his truck was gone. He didn't even do the repairs that day. He must have rearranged his whole schedule just so I could take a shower! Thanks Justin! You helped restore my faith that there's still some ""good guys"" out there!

Another great visit with Justin! Patient, kind, knowledgeable and he gets it done! He made suggestions for the future, gave me a ballpark idea of price. It's nice that I wasn't pressured into doing things right then and there. And, there's no one else I want to call! I highly recommend yet again!!!!

Please read to the end of the review, we hope it will be worth your time. We've had several plumbing issues at our Lake Arrowhead home. When we experienced issues initially in the kitchen, we had 2 different plumbers advise that they had resolved the issue, when in fact neither did. We finally called Thrifty, who resolved the problem.

Shortly thereafter, we had a leaking pipe in the water heater, which Thrifty repaired. During that process however, my partner damaged a part of the water heater in his anxiety to shut off the water, which wasn't noticeable initially...but caused us to smell gas afterward.

Gas company came in and shut off the gas. We called Thrifty, who came out and had to tell us that it was not a repairable item and the entire water heater needed to be replaced. Sad days.

Thrifty returned the next day with a water heater, and we had hot water for about 15 minutes. Fortunately, Thrifty had stayed to test it out further, knowing that we had already been inconvenienced by the previous repair. In the testing, they noticed that the water didn't stay hot, and did further investigation.

Long story made a little shorter. They replaced the water heater again the next day. For a total of 2 water heaters and one regulator in 1 day from the same manufacturer. They finally ditched that manufacturer altogether, brought in a 3rd water heater, and we now have hot water! Even better news was that it was at no additional expense to us.

We are so very grateful that Thrifty saw this problem through to the end; we'll never try another plumber up the hill, their integrity will hold us as loyal customers for as long as we are here.

Great Service. Before Paul started any workmanship he let us know how much it would cost. No surprises. Service was fast and clean. Didn't try to add any services. I highly recommend Thrifty Plumbing.

OK OK here we are on yelp with another five star review but I promise you I'm not a cousin of the owner just a customer with a troubled cabin that needed someone with the kind of experience these guys have.
First of all my place is nearly 100 years old so shifts in the foundation and the flooring can be a little scary sometimes. So I bring in professionals to help me in case there's something that I'm not seeing. Sure enough they diagnosed my issues with the toilet, sewer and some additions I needed to do in the basement. They stuck with their estimate and even did some additional work as things went a little smoother than anticipated.
I thought at first that they were a bit pricey but the quality and ease of working with the techs and office more than made for a good experience.

We have been using Justin with Thrifty Plumbing for many years. Justin has handled all of our emergencies and recently re-plumbed our whole house. Our house is very old and requires a unique approach and talent. I've seen Justin do the impossible on several occasions. He is very knowledgeable and is the only plumber I would use.
