I had seen some less than positive reviews, but they came highly recommended by a national store. They were able to find the proper piece of equipment I needed but also warned me about using that item with my current plumbing in my residence. They outlined the cons of my intended use. I decided to not use the purchased product as a result of that conversation. It would have been very easy for them to just sell me the part, but they engaged me in dialogue to help problem solve for the best possible outcome. Their prices were reasonable, but the discussion regarding the pros and cons probably saved me at least $400 that would have been needed to replace the damage using the part would have cost. ""Cash only"" under $10.

3 Brothers Plumbing Supplies - Overpriced + Rigid No Return Policy!

""Competitive pricing""? No way! 3 Brothers Plumbing Supplies is overpriced. They charged $71.90 for a Moen shower cartridge that we were told by our plumber could be gotten from Moen for free (by mail within 7 - 10 days) b/c it was not that old; or, at the very least, we could have purchased the same item for way less at numerous competitors of 3 Brothers.

No Return/No Refund policy! Although it's not posted on their website, 3 Brothers Plumbing has a rigid no return/no refund policy (which they only post in their store). We went to this business b/c they had Wolverine Brass faucets and we bought over $360 worth of items from them. The next day, when we found out from our plumber that we could have gotten a free replacement from Moen for one of the items, i.e., the shower cartridge, or a drastically lower price, we called 3 Brothers Plumbing about returning the unopened cartridge and were summarily refused.

I recommend that you go somewhere else for your plumbing supplies. They are inflexible and have Excessive Pricing.

When I was working on a plumbing project a friend told me to go to 3 Brothers plumbing and heating supplies. I went, but they have LOUSY hours, are expensive, and not only didn't have a few things I needed but told me they aren't even made anymore. So, I went to my trusty Daniels' instead, like I should have to begin with. Amazingly they had the very items I needed, including what I was told was not even made anymore. 3 Brothers completely lost my business after that. Even if Daniels doesn't have it I will NEVER go there as they are blatant liars with crappy hours.

I had an old outside faucet that was bad. I went to the big box stores to see if I could get the ""guts"" to fix it. Big NO. I tried to replace the ""guts"" from a new valve that was close to what I had and that didn't work either. The new valve was smaller on the inside. So as a last shot I went to 3 Brothers. They didn't have the replacement part either, but said they could rebuild the part I had. And rebuild it they did and saved me the expense and hassle of getting a plumber to come out and replace the valve. Very happy customer and would recommend to anyone.

Buyer beware, this place is the only business I have ever shopped at that does not take returns. Even offering that I would take a 30+% loss as a ""restocking fee"", the company still had no interest in accepting a return for unused materials. I will never purchase materials from this place again and if you think there is any chance that you may not pick the right materials don't risk the loss. You are better off at another retailer.

I bit off more than I could chew with a bathtub faucet replacement. I ended up calling a plumber to help me get it apart. He charged me $75 just to take it apart. I had a spare faucet, but he said it wouldn't work and it would cost $600 for him to finish the work. $37 in parts, some great advice from Steve at 3 Brothers, and 1 hour of putting it all together, I'm all set!!!! Words can't express how awesome and helpful and patience he was!
