I thought I did a review but I must have forgotten. Chris came on a Wednesday at 6pm and our water heater died. Now having three women in the house we needed hot water.

I told him let's do it, he took care of it in 3 hours drained the old one went and got new one and installed it with safety valves and hoses.

Chris went out of his way to get it done fast and right.
Anymore plumbing needs and this is who I am calling

I am not one to typically leave reviews, however my latest (of many) experience with Danny and Thousand Oaks Plumbing has me enthusiastically ready to share my experience.
My wife and I discovered a leak in our garage coming up from the ground and we had no idea from where. I immediately called T.O. Plumbing and was told someone could get out SAME DAY to inspect the issue. They had Danny (the owner!) out within an hour or 2. He proceeded to investigate the garage and surrounding areas and was able to detect an issue underneath our slab. I was very impressed by the thoroughness of the investigation and felt Danny was going above and beyond to ensure the problem would be fixed the first time around. The attention to detail and willingness to discuss with me my options really set these guys apart.

We arranged for the team to come back the following morning, where they arrived early enough that I could get to work timely. These guys are extremely professional, courteous, and personable. This helped me feel comfortable in getting them in and me off to work! Priceless! As the other reviews will tell you, they are efficient, great people, and hard workers! I feel 100% confident in T.O. Pluming as my go-to plumbers and know they will deliver the same peace of mind to you as they did to me. A true 6 star service.

Dan came out as a 2nd opinion for a supposedly-clogged drainpipe under my family room. He sent out the Hydroflush tech and that flushed the line sufficiently and saved me 6K! You guys rock!

Had Jessie install a new sink faucet to replace the old one. Literally a 15 minute job. Was charged $300 and I even supplied the $30 faucet. Completely ripped off for the amount of time and effort to complete the job. I would never use these guys again....

I would like to start this off with first I really hate to rate somebody who has so many great write ups but it is what it is...
I found the administration with Thousand Oaks plumbing to be delightful very courteous and 1000% professional.
They gave me an estimate of approximately what I should expect price-wise from what I described which I very much appreciated and gave me a courtesy call as I asked so let me know 30 minutes before our plumber would arrive.

Brad arrived on time and was very personable but after a few minutes,? I felt like he saw himself as a great fast talker.
We took him into our bathroom and showed him that basically,? we had Dripping leak caused by a worn out valve stem assembly. About $12-$15 at your local hardware.
I was given a quote over the phone of Around $70 to replace one in which I was happy to do.
Add mention the option of replacing both of them and again I agree that that seemed like a sound idea.
I want to go grab my wife so she was in on the whole discussion and when I returned I found Brad sitting at my dining room table which he had invited himself in to sit at and had his laptop out.
I like to think that my family is the most welcoming and
genuinely? friendly, but this was inappropriate?? at best.
So, it ended up a $385.00-400.00 to change two valve stems..
I asked him to leave.
This (HE) was a ?complete scam.
I? did not? recieve a call from TO Plumbing to follow up, which bummed me out more since I really needed to find a plumber I? could use as needed to do some work upgrading and maintaining.

Thousand Oaks plumbing was recommended by a friend of mine.

TO plumbing demonstrated that they are professional, punctual, cost effective, and do a job well done. They also kept the process neat and organized. I had a kitchen and washing machine drain line clogged. Was unable to use snake through the camera they confirmed that there was a broken pipe in the drain line. They explained a couple of options for the solution. I decided to reroute the drain line. Under John's supervision and his team they rerouted the drain line in a timely manner. Also they installed an earthquake shutoff valve. Everyone involved in this project is a big asset for TO plumbing company's success in short and long term.
Thanks to the management for such an established, sound and robust process and procedures to achieve customer satisfaction.
I strongly recommend TO plumbing to others.

Chris came out to fix our leaky shower/tub. He was so polite, friendly, and mindful. I don't usually expect others to remove their shoes at the door although our family does - without asking, Chris did the same even though he kept having to put his shoes back on to run out to his truck. He saw that our baby was napping and apologized for having to make some noise and otherwise was super mindful and was whispering to not wake up the baby. So happy with the service - thanks, Chris!

Thousand Oaks Plumbing has always been so efficient in responding and working with all my issues at the house. We recently had to replace some toilets and had Jesse to do the service! He was so professional, nice, quick and did a perfect job! We will continue to use them for all our plumbing needs! Thanks guy

I've used TO plumbing a few times before with no major issues, but my latest experience left me pondering if I should ever use them again. The service call to provide a quote with no repair is $79. They claim that they don't provide pricing over the phone when in fact they had standard flat rate pricing for the type of repair performed. Why not be straight with the customer on what the flat rate pricing is, and disclose that if the complexity of the job is higher then potentially cost is higher than the standard rate? Turns out the kitchen faucet change was $294. Had I known this before the visit, I would have called someone else or did it myself.

Then the service tech had the audacity to try and tag on a $200+ charge to change one of the wall fittings and didn't inform me that 1) he was changing it, and 2) there was extra cost. The entire job in total took less than 2 hours. He must have went to law school for the effective hourly rates they are charging.

Advice for whomever decides to use them: ask them what the standard rate is for the job you're describing over the phone. They have a flat rate price list so this shouldn't be a mystery. Yes, the price could be higher if the complexity is greater, but the price list is for the MINIMUM one will pay. If I had known what the minimum amount was before the service call visit, I would have walked away.

They do have a few positives - appointment scheduling is great and usually they are punctual, but price is definitely a negative. Perhaps the business is growing too quickly and their overhead costs are high, but it feels like all they see is dollar signs.

We used to find this company very reliable and honest and we used them for all our plumbing needs. Recently they came to our home and did some work that seemed fairly high priced. They also recommended 1 of our toilets to be replaced at a high cost, because it was so old. We declined that work as toilet is not that old (15-20 years). Well, we paid $50 for parts and ended up repairing the toilet ourselves in about 45 min. The toilet did not need replacing at all. It was in very good shape aside from inside parts. Disappointing,as we used to always trust their recommendations, pricing and honesty.
