We have always been pleased with this business since several years ago they installed a new heating @ cooling system at a fair price. Recently, we
called them about a stopped up drain of the A/C. They sent out a very nice young man who fixed the problem in short order.

They did send the estimate after I wrote the 8/18 review. It was pretty late. At least they're trying. I don't think this estimate was done particularly well OR maybe they don't give their employees the tools to do their job well.

As others have said, the phone people tend to transfer calls to voice mail, so it can be frustrating to deal with them.

I still think Thorsen selects the customers that they want to serve well and blows off others. Our plumbing job is not a small one, and they could make some good money from us, but I guess we don't fall into the group that they want to serve, if you know what I mean.

Super honest business! I hired them to clean my air ducts but when they looked at them, they said only the intake needed cleaning! They listened to my concerns about allergies, dust, and asthma and performed what my system needed without trying to perform unnecessary and costly extras! I highly recommend these guys!

Thankful for Thorsen's! My $800 water heater began giving me problems within 2 weeks of purchase. A few months later and I was tired of getting error codes and coming home to a completely cold tank of water. I called the manufacturer (last Thursday) who called in service to Thorsen's. Jason came to my home (Tuesday) and was very friendly and worked with me to diagnose the problem(s) with the WH. He took over calling the manufacturer and explaining what was needed. The parts arrived this morning (Thursday) and within 4 minutes of receipt, Suzette from Thorsen's called to confirm receipt and schedule Jason's return. He was available to come immediately! Fifteen minutes later Jason was at my home and working on the unit. He quickly had the parts replaced and the unit fired up immediately without issue. Jason was professional, cordial and even friendly to my dog. I appreciated Thorsen's availability, friendly communication and expertise. I will confidently look to them with future needs. Thank you Jason, Suzette and the Thorsen's gang!

My family has been using Thorsen's for years. They're always professional and friendly. Their techs know their stuff and their prices are reasonable for what you get. They also have this buyback guarantee....You get to try the unit out for 365 days and if you don't like it, they'll buy it back. WHAT THE HECK!?! Who does that?! Just awesome!

We used Thorsens years ago and they were great. Not anymore. Their customer service is terrible! I just got off the phone with a guy from Thorsens and he was condascending and sarcastic. His attitude throughout the whole conversation was that their screwup was my problem.

Our AC failed a couple days ago so yesterday morning I called to schedule an appointment and they told me it would be tonight between 7 and 8pm overtime. I was willing to pay the extra for an earlier appointment. Today I got home at 5 and found that Thorsens had left a message. I called back and someone picked up from their emergency hotline. As soon as I started asking about the call the person on the other line hung up on me. I called back and got a woman that said I shouldn't have received the call and that everything was fine and someone will be by at the scheduled time.

8pm rolls by and nobody shows up. I call back to see what happened and was told that they don't schedule calls after 4pm. I'm transferred to the sarcastic guy and he says since we never answered the phone when they called at 4 nobody would be coming out ""like normal"". He proceeds to argue with me about how I don't understand their protocol etc. I asked when someone could come out and he replies in an irritaded and sarcastic tone ""I have 6 calls tomorrow would you like me to make you my 7th?"" At this point I was done with talking and done with Thorsens... forever.

This experience was so bad it compelled me to make my first Yelp post.

All those that save me money get 5 stars for sure. Other companies recommended a 5K unit be trashed while Thorsen's cleaned it up and got it working right for a fraction of cost of replacement. Thank you Thorsen's for doing a great job!!

I've been using Thorsen's for about 20 years for plumbing repairs (old house, lots of problems!). They always are able to schedule me quickly, do good work and are professional. Highly recommended!
