The absolute worst! Thornton's shoddy work in an A Syde's new build has cost us $25,000 in repairs. Despite contacting them several times, I was told over and over again, ""I'll call you back,"" and I never heard anything. Don't waste your time and money with Thornton's call someone else.. call ANYONE ELSE!

I contacted Thornton Plumbing several months ago about repairing an outdoor shower at our part-time house where the pipes had burst because of the cold. A plumber went to the house to look at the shower and he quoted me 250$ for the job. I agreed, and the plumber said he was going to buy parts and return the next day to do the work. That was the last I heard.

Fast forward to this week. I arrive at the house to find that the plumber has in fact done SOMETHING. What he did not do was fix the shower. The hot side of the shower leaks like crazy. The cold side of the shower is not longer functioning. Shower NOT fixed.

Today, I get a random text message from Thornton telling me I have an unpaid invoice for them. After being quoted 250$ and them NOT fixing the shower, the invoice is for 346$!!!!!

I have a video of what this ""fixed"" outdoor shower looks like if anyone is interested. Happy to send it to any potential Thornton clients who want to see what work by this company looks like.

Horrible service and craftsmanship!!! We own a home that they installed plumbing in and the toilets are half-Ass put together the water lines were so tight we bent the pipe trying to get one of the water lines off and when I called to speak to the owner to inform him of how his workers perform the receptionist had a terrible attitude and would not let me speak to him. If you have the option. Call someone else. He'll that's what they told me!!!

This business is awful! They lie about what the actual problem is. Give you bad advice that only causes more issues. Thornton Plumbing along with Dan Ryan Builders are terrible to do business with. Do Not Buy A Home from Dan Ryan Builders!! They rip you off with poor workmanship and even poorer Customer Service!! Run from both!!

Called to schedule service for a leaking sink. After talking to a very nice woman, she connected me to Kiki, a scheduler for the area my house is located. She told me a plumber would be out the next day to take a look. I asked if they could call 15 minutes ahead, and she said sure. By 4:00pm the next day, no call, and no plumber. So, I call them to find out if he is delayed, etc. I am first told I am not on the schedule and must have called a different company. (Even though I am calling from the same magnet on my fridge that was made by their company with their number). Then, she talks to Kiki, who tells her to tell me she would have never scheduled it due to Covid19 restrictions. Then, I ask to speak to Kiki and I remind her of our conversation yesterday when it was scheduled and she then changes her story again and says very attitudinally that she can't help it if it didn't save properly in the system they use for scheduling. (Oh, what happened to the restrictions excuse you just tried to use?) So, I am confused??? Did I call the wrong place, did I dream talking to Kiki and being told they would come out the next day, or did Kiki screw up, but rather than take ownership and apologize like a good business should do, she accuses me of being at fault and is annoyed with me? I will NEVER do business with this company again. Absolute TERRIBLE customer service!

One of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. The first gentleman was sent out to our brand new home (2 weeks old) for issues with the toilet not flushing correctly and clogging very easily. He was very unfriendly and seemed more interested in hurrying up and leaving than actually helping. His reason for the toilet not flushing correctly after looking was that we weren't saturating our toilet paper enough before flushing and when he tired to prove that to me...it clogged once again. He then said ""you wouldn't typically use that much toilet paper, so it will be fine."" At the point I knew he was of no help and let him leave. Our builder Stevens fine homes then sent this company out again and the reason this time was because a tampon was found and that this would void our warranty and so that we were responsible for the bill which we are unfortunately having to pay. We are still having issues but there is no way I would call this company back. Use another plumber!

Received a lien on my property in mail today. Never done business with this company. Never heard of this company. Had a dispute with the builder and hired an attorney to place liens on all the homeowners. Don't do business with them - they out to hurt innocent people. The funny part about this - the dispute was with Riptide for $740. Money hungry company puts lien on new homeowners - amazing! And Pender county allowed it without any proof that a bill was owed. Wonder how much Thornton's plumbing paid to get this accomplished !! We homeowners do have rights - companies cannot just put liens on our property when we do not we money!!

horrible service! lazy plumber! didn't provide options or solutions to fix anything. they came out just to collect $95. shower problem on a wednesday and they tell me they can't come back out until tuesday! wtf! sorry ass company that can go to hell!
