Well pump failed. We paid immediately for the initial visit but got a feeling that this was not an honest business. Asked a few local folks in the area and was told that Thompson Plumbing did NOT have a good reputation. Not supporting their work, price gouging, etc.. We got a competing bid from another plumber and decided to use them. Made a courtesy call to Thompson Plumbing (Ed) to let him know that we were going with someone else. I thanked him for his help and before I can finish my sentence, he hangs up. Being that the mountain top can have poor cell service in spots, I thought maybe we got disconnected. Tried calling back several times but no answer. He then sends me a text saying ""I got it, stop calling me"". Well, I guess the local folks were right !!

Called to make an appointment to have 2 bathrooms remodeled in our house and 2 new bathrooms added. The person I talked to on the phone told me that they were busy. I wasn't in a rush. They just kept saying that they were busy. I thanked the person who recommended Thompson Plumbing and told them to think twice about recommending them again. Terrible customer service.

Set up an appointment for an estimate over a week ahead of time. At the end of the appointment window I called to ask when they would arrive. Person that answered the phone told me they would not be coming at all, they were on ""service call"". Suggested I look for someone else to do the work.If they didn't think my job was worth looking at, they should have said so and not made the appointment.
