I love that they are a family owned business and care more about people than money. I felt comfortable having them at my place of work without being able to be there myself AND it was left extremely clean after the work was done. Would definitely recommend them.

Contacted Thompson Heating for a servicing of my furnace and turned out that it needed to be replaced. Darrell worked with me on the price and came up with an excellent system that was a huge improvement over the old unit. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with including all three of the service reps who worked on the instillation (Ryan, Nate & Brian). They never complained and worked diligently until everything was set up and running. Would DEFINATELY call these guys back.

My furnace was not working and i called 5 days before christmas figuring I would have to wait. He came out the next day to diagnose the problem and said he would order what I needed and be back the next day after his scheduled work beause he didn't
want be to go any longer without heat. He came the next day and worked until 9:30 pm installing my new furnace then came back the next day after work and finished the
details and the cleanup. I cannot say enough about the work ethic and the great job.
I would recommend them to anyone needing their survices.

We have used this business at two different locations. They were able to find a quick (and cheap) fix for our heater at our old residence. We had such a good experience that we also had them to install air conditioning at our new house. Their bid was fanatic and came on time and competed the installation quickly. Highly recommended.

Thompson Heating and Air Conditioning is AMAZING. They know exactly what they are doing. We had a couple of local well-known companies come out and diagnose our A/C unit, which wasn't cooling. They all gave an hour explanation on what they found and how the numbers of their tests don't lie. They all said to get a new unit and quoted around $2,500. Thompson came out and just by what I told him he knew exactly what was wrong. $145 later out unit started blowing cold air. Thompson is the ONLY person to call when you have problems with your heating or air.

I had a problem with my air conditioner freezing over. I read on-line that it could be due to a lack of coolant (go figure).

Based on Yelp reviews, I called up Thompson Heating and AC and made an appointment. Garrett showed up. I explained the problem to him and he said he'd check it out rather than just proceeding on what I'd told him - this is a really good practice if you actually want to fix the problem.

Sure enough the pressure was low. Before he charged it, he told me that it was an old system (25 years old) and may still have a leak, albeit a slow leak. He laid out the options in simple language and the risks/costs associated with each option. I chose to charge the system.

If there is a leak, they'll be at the top of the list for replacing the unit.

Bottom line: friendly, professional, and knowledgeable for a decent price.

Called them out to check out the furnace in our new home, before we fired it up for the holidays. The tech was friendly and knowledgable and went through everything he was checking as he did it, teaching me along the way.

I would give a perfect score, except that a few weeks later I installed a Nest thermostat, and found that the wiring from the furnace to the thermostat had some wires wrong. I would think that's something they would check but maybe not since it was apparently working.
