My old water heater was leaking. A friend recommended
Thompson Family Plumbing.., so I called them. Within an hour a technician, Ismael, came to my house. He explained everything I needed to have done very thoroughly. He also completed the job the same day. He did a very professional job of installing a new water heater, overflow container, debris trap, new copper piping, and a metal pan underneath. My water pressure was too high, so he also replaced my old water pressure valve. Everything works great now!

Our tankless water heater had been acting up and not working consistently for the last 8 months. I had two separate plumbing companies come out to the house and neither one was able to fix it, only saying that whoever installed it didn't install it properly or up to code and it was going to take a complete overhaul to fix estimating it would cost $3,700. Or I could just get rid of the tankless (only 7 years old) and go back to a tank. I finally called the manufacturer and they recommended Thompson Family Plumbing so as a last resort I called. They responded extremely quickly, I actually talked to a human when I called and not a machine on the other end. They even were able to send out a plumber by the name of Daniel that same day. I wasn't able to be home so I had to call back and see if there was any chance that I could reschedule for a different day thinking it would probably be another week before he would be able to make it out because that was my experience with the other two plumbing companies I felt with previously. Nope, Daniel was able to come back out the very next morning right on time. He took maybe an hour or 2 to diagnose the issue, was very knowledgeable and extremely informative. He told me everything was up to code and that it just needed a part to be replaced. Lo and behold he got it to work even without the part (because it had to be ordered) and that once the part comes in a few days he will come back to install it and then I should be good to go! So the other two plumbers from other companies clearly didn't know about my particular machine and would have costed me thousands of dollars more where with Thompson I'm able to keep my tankless, learned about how to keep up with the maintenance on it, and ended having to pay far less money to boot! 5 stars for Daniel and 5 stars for Thompson Family Plumbing, thanks guys!

Unfortunately, I have to retract my previous review. The showers were only fixed on the surface, now we have no hot water in either bathroom
I am truly disappointed
Now with out-of-town guests coming we have to find another plumber to actually come and not only fix the original problem but the one caused by Thompson plumbing. SMH

We just had a follow up service call with this incredible company and their amazing technician Daniel Garcia. They are the best in the high desert! We had a huge re-route done a couple years ago and their work was flawless! We will be forever grateful to Daniel and the Family Thompson!!!

I needed a shut-off valve replaced immediately because it started to leak. Therefore, I contacted Thompson Family Plumbing, and they sent Christopher Owen (Plumbing Technician) to resolve my problem. After meeting Mr. Owen, I observed that he possessed a pleasant personality. He was extremely tentative when I explained my leaky shut-off valve problem. Mr. Owen advised me that he would resolve my leak, which he did. He also recommended that the remaining shut-off valves be inspected, like the valve removed. Overall, I was extremely impressed with Mr. Owen's response time to my home, his professional demeanor, and his vast knowledge of plumbing. Thank you, Thompson Family Plumbing, for hiring such a conscientious employee, unlike other local plumbing companies in the High Desert.

Thompson Family Plumbing once again saved the day! We had all our bathroom counters and sinks replaced and needed someone to install the hardware and drains. I called TFP! As usual they were extremely helpful from the first phone call throughout the entire job. I requested Vincent, who we feel is the best plumber in the region. TFP stayed in contact with me regarding the progress of the contractors and added my job to Vincent's busy schedule once they finished.
