It's been a few days since our water heater replacement. The technician was very polite and detailed on what he was doing. The job was done efficiently. The reason for the two stars is because it was on the very high end of price. Unfortunately I was taken back by the urgency of getting the project done and after getting several quotes afterwards I found out that this project was on the extremely high end and the warranty of the product is on the low end that was installed. Long story short, great customer service, but they do take advantage of you with overpriced product and service.

This review is long overdue. However, it's not due to negativity. Life just gets in the way...
Anyway Dean from Thompson came out to our house twice - once to work on the kitchen faucet that needed a cartridge replaced and a second time to replace the entire faucet and the connections below the sink.
Unfortunately, it turned out after the cartridge was replaced that the whole faucet needed to be replaced. This had nothing to do with Dean's work which was flawless. There was simply an extra problem. When he came out the second time he switched out the faucet and redid the connections below. He also fixed the guts of one of our toilets and in doing so noted that our water pressure was extremely high. He switched out the water pressure regulator and now everything is perfect. I have nothing but positive comments and glowing remarks for Dean and Thompson Family Plumbing. They were fast, efficient and got the job done. Their rates were reasonable and Dean was extremely friendly. Thanks to Thompson and I highly recommend!!

I was replacing the faucets on a couple of bathroom sinks and needed to replace the original 40 year old shutoff valves but ran into a problem removing them. Called Thompson Family Plumbing since they did a great job replacing my water heater several years ago. Although my favorite plumber was no longer there I now have a new favorite plumber in Vincent! I contacted this company for a water heater replacement quote. They were responsive and very easy to work with. They scheduled an appointment quickly and came within the estimated window. They kept me updated of the tech's arrival. Jacob was my tech and he explained the work that was needed, the cost break down and tried to work within our budget. I have no doubt the service would have been excellent as well. The cost of the repair is cost prohibitive at the moment so we will not proceed with it at this time. But we'll consider them again in the future when we are financially ready.
