WOW that's all I can say about Thompkins & Associates (owned & operated by Mr. Lance Thompkins). They are a phenomenal, efficient, extremely thorough, professional and economically priced multi-licensed contracting company. Our building was due for our 5 year NJ State Inspection and it was in bad shape. We failed the year before, so more accurately we were due for re-inspection with a lot on the line, Lance pulled through with a pristine job. He was was able to install multiple separately circuited AC with battery back up smoke detectors units in 4 separate apartment units plus the basement/hallway area. He is not only a 3rd generation licensed electrician but a super talented problem solver. He inspected, tested, replaced, installed & repaired all targeted issues. He installed a new deadbolt in one of the apartments. He repaired our building's door frame which was in severe disrepair. He removed our old broken basement light fixtures and replaced them with brand new lighting fixtures that will last for decades. He installed extremely strong durable self-closing hinges on all of the doors. He took his time making sure we would pass re-inspection and used all top of the line supplies with no exceptions made in any areas of his work. It's not easy to find a contractor who is licensed in both electrical and general but who is also humble, trustworthy, hardworking & worth every penny BUT Thompkins & Associates definitely is!
