My furnace quit on a cold Ct. Sunday afternoon. I am a long time customer of Thomaston Comfort Control but the fast response from Jason, the on-call technician surprised even me. He solved my problem on the phone. He was very patient while I ran up and down stairs between the thermostat and the furnace. I am very fortunate to have them for my HVAC /oil company. They can be also commended for having a caring and competent employee like Jason.

I sent a message out on Angie's list looking for an hvac company to install a new air conditioner unit, gas furnace and water heater. Paul from Thomaston Comfort Control called and we set up an appointment to meet up. He arrived at my house on 6/20/19, and went into a sales pitch on what I need. He measured my house for capacity and made other suggestions. He spent 2 hours at my house and told me to hurry up a book with him because he won't have any availability in July unless I act soon. He then quoted me a verbal price after asking me all kinds of personal information.
He said he would drill down and give me an even better price and send out a sales proposal Tom my personal email address that night.
Well needless to say I never received the proposal. Paul, the salesperson appeared sketchy and pushy.

Called Mike at Thomaston Comfort Control because we woke up to a flooded basement. Turns out the relief valve failed, which in turn , cause the furnace to fail. Mike sent a crew of guys out to my house immediately, and with in the hour, I had a new furnace, heat and hot water. We've been a customer for over 15 years, and highly recommend Thomaston Comfort Control. Excellent service, honest, and dependable. Thank you again Mike!!

My mother's furnace went out the week before Christmas. I called 4 HVAC companies to come out to give estimates. Out of the 4 companies that came out, there was only ONE company that covered all the basis and answered all the questions necessary for the best product suited for the home. That company was Thomaston Comfort Control. Sales Rep, Bill Asprelli, showed up on time and began with measuring the home area and windows to accurately access the ""right"" furnace for the home. This was the ONLY company that measured the home! The other 3 companies came in, looked at the old furnace and basically said ""Um, you're looking at $8,000 - $12,000"" without even discussing what brand or model they were going to use to replace. I was able to compare the same brand/model with Thomaston Comfort Control. The other company wanted a bit more money and they wanted $4,400 upfront and the balance to finance through Energize CT (Energize CT usually has customer to pay 10% and they finance the balance).

Thomaston Comfort Control's Sale Rep, Bill Asprelli, was able to get our financing application approved within one day (my mother is elderly and she had no hot water or heat)! He followed up with me regarding the paperwork and financing. This could have been a very unpleasant situation but with their help, we were able to get a great new furnace up and running within one week (including Christmas and a full weekend)!

Joe and Eric, were perfectionist in regards to their installation of the furnace. They were neat, professional and did an amazing job with the plumbing and made sure that everything was secure and up and running. Once installed, Joe reviewed the system with us. I am grateful to Bill, Joe, Eric (and a 3rd installer who's name escapes me)! If you need to get a furnace company, I highly recommend that you give Thomaston Comfort Control a call.
