This contractor was assigned by our home warranty company after our AC unit stopped cooling. A ""supervisor"" Jerome arrived, took a quick look at the age of the unit and immediately put on a hard sell for a new unit outside of our home warranty. He said a repair wouldn't even last a couple of months and didn't make sense. While I think a new unit was a wise choice, the approach was a hard sell and OUTSIDE of the home warranty, which paid NOTHING.
Part of what Jerome offered is ""experience and knowledge"" since he'd been in the business nearly 2 decades. Interestingly, he didn't attend any of the job and did not even check their work upon completion. Workers spoke little English or chose to be non-communicative and behaved rudely. Our home was left in a horrible mess, with debris scattered across rooms and down stairs, even leaving dangerous metal shards all over the floor! I punctured my foot upon walking in to the install room after workers left, and believe me, they are going to hear about leaving things in this condition! I now have a bandaged foot and I have no idea if the unit was even installed properly. Jerome was only interested in picking up the payment and didn't have the common courtesy to review work the guys did. This speaks to how little this company cares for customers and a very high level of deception. Stay FAR far away from this company! I'm hiring another AC firm to come in and inspect installation job and make any necessary corrections. I feel I got ripped off for an $8K job ... a terribly messed up home, injured foot and not so much as a quality control check at the end of the job!

Took two weeks to confirm what other warranty co already did.
I had the correct OEM mfg parts on will-call at Siglers.
These guys clearly want to buy low budget but charge the max price for warranty work. (D bags)
First visit diagnosis: OK
Second visit a week later: OOOOOOOOHHHHH SSSSOOOOOORRRRYYYY
I brought the wrong parts. Promised to come back next morning.
Next morning, no show, no notification call, nada. Called them and OOOOOOOHHHHHH NNNNOOOOO, WWWWWEEEE CCCCCAAANNNTTT GGGGEEETTT THAT BLOWER MOTOR. I called Siglers and the Carrier motor was still available. SO SICK OF BEING LIED TO.
Now, Emily (butter wouldn't melt in her mouth) says OOOOOOHHHHH, the earliest we can come again is next Tuesday.

These folks are so unprofessional it makes me want to puke. They clearly wanted to buy a cheap-ass motor to ""repair"" our system but would charge the home warranty company full price for the OEM unit. In my books this is called FRAUD !!!! Add that to bad customer service and this is what you get with this shitshow.

AC has been out for almost 2 months now because they keep pushing back appointments and when they do send someone out they send the same guy over and over. While he was here he got a phone call and he said to the office that be has no idea what he's doing here and he can't fix it. And he left our ac unit in shambles and left the thermostat off the wall so now other companies won't even touch our unit cause it's such a mess. They are inadequate, inept, just overall bad at their jobs. Never use this company if you can help it.

The worse experience with any contractor Ever! They are unreliable, and untrustworthy. Our home insurance company arranged for ""Professors of Plumbing"" DBA as Thomas Home Services to come and check our AC. A technician came (after postponing the first appointment) and said a supervisor was going to come to see how to fix the equipment. After other 3 cancelled/no show appointments, we are still with a broken ac in the middle of summer!
the only thing this ""professors' can teach is how to fail and lie cause they do that very well

Horrible customer service. ZERO STARS! I used Thomas Home Services because they were selected by my Home Warranty. I needed to replace my AC unit, but the new unit didn't work upon install. My brand new AC unit already has a replacement part.
They also said I needed an additional return which wasn't even installed aligned with anything in my house. The crew that did that work put a bunch of holes in my ceiling in addition to the large hole in my garage ceiling that they said their ""drywall guy"" would come fix.... THIS WAS TWO MONTHS AGO.
Still waiting.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

Terrible service. Office staff doesn't know what end is up. If you manage to get an appt. Never fear. The will reschedule you. Again and again.

If your warranty company wants to send Thomas? Run don't walk to get another company.

My relationship with this company goes back to 2018 when they used to go by the name of, Professors of plumbing and air conditioning. They came out to service my a/c system. They happened to work with the Home Warranty company I had at the time so I thought it would be a good idea to purchase a maintenance agreement for 3 years on 3 properties. The first maintenance check they did, I was told that there was a freon leak on one of the units and that both capacitors on another unit needed to be replaced. All of which was not true. A few months later I had them replace an a/c unit on one of my properties. Over the next 2 years the company had to send out technicians to fix installation issues. Then recently the a/c unit stopped cooling, so I called them again. Keep in mind that it is July in Arizona, and the temperature is in the 100's. They did not have somebody available to come out on a Sunday night. The tech came out on Monday and diagnosed that the circuit board on a 3yr old unit is bad. The board was ordered and was available for pickup on Tuesday, but they didn't have anyone available to pick it up. So on the 4th day it is picked up and the tech spends hours on the roof installing the part and then leaves when he was done without verifying if the cooling was functioning. And of course it wasn't. I had to call an independent a/c tech to come out on the 5th day and he immediately determined that it was a bad compressor capacitor. The same component they always try to upsell customers on. I had to pay the independent contractor $320 (which included a new thermostat). I have attempted to get reimbursed from Thomas Home Services and they have ignored me. Not only were my tenants inconvenienced for 5 days due to an incompetent service tech, I also compensated my tenants for hotel expenses.
I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

This company was the warranty company my landlord had called for the home that I am renting. The technician that came out was great. He was there for most of the day on a holiday Monday, July 4th, and he seemed very knowledgeable he was very courteous, very nice, and he explained everything that needed to be done to try and fix the leak. He said that somebody was going to come out the next morning and finish repairing it but it wouldn't be him because he didn't have the right machine. I heard him on the phone with his boss getting the schedule for the next day. So the next day I waited all morning and nobody had come yet, so about noon, I called the company and they told me that the technician should not have scheduled it because he did not know their schedule, and said they couldn't get there until Friday. I was a little bit miffed but I said OK fine, this was Tuesday. So Friday late morning I called to confirm that they would be out because nobody has shown up yet and she assured me they would be here in the afternoon between 3-5 pm, it was originally between 1-3 pm. About 4pm, I saw that I had missed a call from the company so I called them back and they tell me that the technician they had scheduled to come out doesn't have a ladder tall enough to get on my roof and that they couldn't send someone out again until the following Wednesday! That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, what A/C tech doesn't have a ladder that can get on the roof! And why would they schedule someone who wasn't equipped to come out here when they knew exactly what was going on and how tall the roof was because they'd already been out! She then told me they couldn't come out until the following Wednesday, another five days! OMG I was fuming! Maybe because it was a warranty job they didn't care if they did this job or not, I don't know what the deal was. This is just poor customer service and I hope I never have to deal with this company again.

Very bad experience . Have raised the issue with home warranty on 06/04 and they came only on 06/09 and they send the report to my warranty company only on 06/14 after multiple follow up. meanwhile he was trying to sell a new AC unit for me with credit options. I'm still waiting to fix this issue to get resolved . They are not even picking call on the given number as well.

In a word....DISHONEST. This company sent out a tech that spent about 10 minutes and then declared that I needed an entire new AC unit. He put me on the phone with a hard sell supervisor who wanted me to buy a new unit OUTSIDE of my home warranty. I refused and his fall back position was that I needed a new coil. They waited a week (in 105 degrees temperature) to send in the report. When the did, it included a $1510 out of pocket charge. They tried to justify the charge saying it was to make things to code and other modifications. It was all a lie. Nothing they wanted to do had anything to do with the building code. My home was built to code by Pulte and is still in compliance. It was obvious to me that the were being dishonest. I called the home warranty company explained the situation and they agreed to send out another contractor. The new contractor came out the next day, checked the system out and informed me that all I needed was about a pound of refrigerant. He added it at no charge and everything is fine.
This dishonesty is not only at the service technician level but runs all the up through their management. The manager tried to justify everything....the whole company is rotten. By the way the operate under two different names... Professors of Plumbing and Air Conditioning and Thomas Home Services. The Professors of Plumbing and AC is the name they use with the home warranty companies. Under that name their ratings are dismal.

Beware...question everything they do.
