I wish I could give 0 stars. They did the entire plumbing a few years ago on a new construction including radiant heating for the floors. They used the cheapest and wrong material just to pass inspection. On the radiant heating system you should not use black pipe or galvanized pipe which will cause rusty water that damaged the control valves and caused them to get rusty. On the boiler they used black pipe which connects to the domestic hot water which is exposing my family on a daily basis to rusty water. Their are other issues with the quality of their work. Later on I heard they have done this before on other new houses.

Curley Plumbing saved my Thanksgiving! As I was preparing for everyone to come over my kitchen drain got clogged! UGH! I panicked and went on Yelp to see who to use as a local plumber and who could get here immediately! My family was on their way over and I couldnt use my sink! When they got here it took less than an hour to fix & they gave me the best price for Holiday rates!

If you want to deal with Cruel Crooks, than Thomas Curley is the right company for you! We had a dripping faucet in our bathtub that we called them to fix. Their rate was $175/hour which I agreed to beforehand.

The plumber named Eric came to our house and was extremely rude to my wife and was yelling at her. My wife stayed on the phone with me the entire time he was at our house because she was scared for her life from this guy. As customers, we have never been so scared of someone that we hired to do a job.

Anyways, he looks at the leak for a few minutes and says he will be right back. He disappears for about 40 minutes to get a Delta Cartridge and charges me $85 for the part even though the same part is available on Amazon for $30. I later asked for their receipt and indeed they got the part for much less than $85. Anyways, there was no way for me to know where he went for those 40 minutes...he could've went out to lunch for all I know (it was around 1PM).

When he finally arrives back to our house, he replaces the part, but still left our house about 4-5 more times to go back to his truck (even after the job was complete). My wife asked him why he keeps going back to his truck and he would get nasty and aggressive with her. He was stalling to charge for more time.

He goes back to his truck one last time for about another 5-10 minutes to write an invoice for nearly $400!! He charged us for an hour and a half of labor even though he was probably in our house for less than half hour (we have cameras in our house as well). When my wife and I asked him why he charged for an hour and a half he got nasty again and said they charge from the moment they show up to your house to the moment they finish writing the invoice...but this guy was stalling big time just to charge us more. He could've gone home, taken a nap for an hour, come back and charged us for it and there would be absolutely nothing I could do about it.

We called Thomas Curley from our house to complain, but they weren't helpful at all....in fact, the owner John Curley sent me a ""Demand Letter"" ONLY 2 DAYS AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED threatening to bring a lawsuit to me and take me to court! Keep in mind I have a near perfect credit score and never had a dispute with any company for hire.

I called Thomas Curley several times and asked to speak to the owner and they refused. For that reason, I have chosen to write this review.

I have paid the charge in full, but I will definitely not use this company ever again and will definitely not refer anyone to them.

We hired Curley plumbing to install an Instant hot They charged us 400 for the heater plus 400 for installation
Three months later they refused to to install the broken heater the company replaced
They wanted an additional 400 plus installation fee of 400
We called the company and they replaced the heater for free and our nephew installed it in 15 minutes
CURLEY PLUMBING ARE RIP OFFS AND SHOULD NEVERE BE USED NY ANYONE IN THE GREAT NECK COMMUNITY
We were a loyal customer for 31 years We now know they have been ripping us off all of that time

Highly recommend. They did a great job. Had a leak from a toilet on the second floor of my house. They repaired the toilet, the tile, and removed the toilet and replaced the seal. Good as new. Cleaned up beautifully and no more leak!

They picked up a half done kitchen project for us, great communication throughout, and kept us informed every step of the way everyone on the team was professional and courteous. Please stay away from Curley Plumbing. Plumber came to try and fix my tub. Got lost for 2.5 hours to find a part at a local plumbing store and then wants me to pay him for a service that he did not even touch! Down right Terrible and Dishonest!!

Such a good experience with Thomas Curley Plumbing. The actual service and the customer service. The people there, and the installers, are very nice. I am so happy to recommend them to everyone. We had been using a previous company that was so difficult to speak with. We would have to wait approximately 25 minutes each time we would call, and it was to a call center. Our hot water heater broke a few days ago. Another company came to service it. They did not have the part with them. They told us to call the next day to see how long it would take to get the part in. We had to call three times. Each time waiting the 25 minutes on the phone to get a person. They left us with they were not sure when they could get the part we needed. We asked about a new hot water heater and they weren't sure when they could have that in either. We called Thomas Curley and in a little over 12 hours later, our new hot water heater was installed. The installation guys couldn't be nicer and the lady on the phone was so nice to talk with. I highly recommend this company.

I highly suggest Thomas Curley Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. I have used Eric the Plumber several times. Quick service , great prices, and he resolved my issue rite away . He also cleaned up after and just was a pleasure to work with! I Will continue on calling them!
