I had a hole in a pipe in my water heater. From the time the technician arrived, he was on his phone the entire time. What should have taken no more than 1 hour, took several hours since he was on his phone. He went out to his truck several times, still on his phone and carrying on his conversation, I could hear him talking. When he was finished, he went out to his truck ""to write up the bill"", after some time, maybe 10 or 15 minutes, I had to go out and interrupt him since I had some place to be. I was charged almost $400 for him to make the repair. I would never use this company again. He did the repair, that is why I gave the company 1 star. However, I had some other work done soon after and relayed the situation with my water heater to that person, and the person who was doing other work, looked at the heater and said that there was still a small leak. He fixed it with no charge. I would not recommend Thomas Byrd Plumbing to anyone.

We needed help with a septic issue and Thomas Byrd responded quickly and worked effectively. We had a great experience with everyone from the company. They were honest and charged us a fair price. Overall we were very happy with our experience and would definitely recommended them to others in the area.

This company charges exorbitant prices. The plumber was supposed to come during regular business hours but showed up after hours and charged $250 per hour plus $250 drive time (an extra cost we were not told about upon booking). Total cost of bill to replace one pipe with one hour of work before 8PM was $550. The office is 21 minutes from my house. There are plenty of plumbers- choose another one.

Dave just saved me from a kitchen flood by coming quickly on a Friday night at 7:00PM. I have used Thomas Byrd for the 16 years I have lived in my house and they are the best! Fast, reliable, and nice people. Can't say enough about them. Great company!
