My husband called in and requested someone provide a quote to fix a leak under our sink. The company took his information and stated that someone would call to schedule an appt. The following day, a technician arrives without confirmation or without a range of the quote. I allowed him to come in and provide an estimate. He identified the issue as a leaking strainer, I asked what the replacement cost (he stated standard rate or premium rate) and I went with the lower price since we didn't need a premium stainer for the sink. I walked out of my office and he showed me the leak was fixed with a new strainer and plenty of plumbing putty. He left the sink with water and suds remaining (no problem as I can remove the plug) when I noticed that the strainer he put in was a used stainer with damage to the rim (which he showed me and joked he wouldn't be using that). He left the box with the new stainer in the house on the shelf. REALLY, WTF!! I got a damaged and used stainer for the cost of $185? Thanks for fixing the leak but this is a scam using a damaged used stainer. I guess you should have just used my current strainer and kept the new one for yourself. Thanks a lot!!

Front office lady is a Big C word. Literally mid sentence switched me to hold and then refused to pick up my calls after. The report sent to AHS was completely the opposite of what the technician told us. Tech was great, but it seems like this group is an insurance scam, they are obviously completing the report from staff at the office and not the field - and filling in whatever to make AHS happy and collect their cost for coming out. I've never in my life dealt with a shadier company. Absolutely don't hire them for anything.

Was referred to this company through our home warranty AHS. The technician that came to look at the leaking faucet was very friendly however, the report submitted to AHS did not match the report that was given to us. They added additional false information in the report given to AHS so our claim would ultimately be denied. It seems this company is trying to obtain business directly by ensuring claims are denied through home warranty companies.

American Home Shield sent Third Generation Plumbing out to look at my shower valve. They told me it needed to be replaced. However in their report to American Home Shield they wrote that the valve was broken due to debris. I was there with the technician the whole time. Not once was there a mention of debris and I looked at the valve myself. I also received a report from the technician directly that did not mention debris. American Home Shield then denied my claim because the tech wrote in the separate private report, that they will not share, that debris were stopping the valve from working. In my opinion this was 100% intentional on their part. They are aware of what the home warranty will cover and they write the report so that you are denied. Once American Home Shield is out of the picture they can rack up the bill on a customer directly. They are essentially using American Home Shield as an advertising service, and American Home Shield doesn't care because it's a claim they won't have to cover. Last but not least the customer service lady lied and told me that there was not a separate report given to American Home Shield and was extremely rude about it. Another person later confirmed that the information she gave me was incorrect.

This company is horrible ,not professional at all ,they have no customer service skills whatsoever. They are not genuinely interested in customers feelings or what is right or what is wrong,, the technician just comes to do what they were told (but agrees that they do not think it is a good idea )... trust me ,stay away ...!!!

Terrible Scheduled through my home warranty company. Third Generation did not contact me but just scheduled a day, in the future, with an 8 hour window. They never called to confirm or see if that day worked for me. i """"FIRED"""" them immediately Family owned business. Must make the name proud with all the 1 Star reviews Hopefully I can convince my warranty company to dump these clowns or I will be looking for a new warranty company, as well. Oh, and I use American Home Shield. I used to sell real estate and would highly recommend this company. They have plummeted in all areas of service. I have sevetal houses and will probably dump them soon, as well.

If you want a company that lies to make more money for themselves and screw you over this is the one. I have insurance for my home and my AC went out. They sent 3rd Gen. Our compressor went bad. He went in our attic to get model number and checked it out. Determined it was only the compressor. It's 25 years. He put in his report, without taking the coil apart, that it was impacted with bio stuff (mold). Because of this, the insurance company denied our claim. I called 3rd Gen and asked why he put that and she said all ACs in Florida have it, especially one this old. But it's the compressor. So between insurance company and his report we got no where. We got another estimate and did not mention to them about what was previously found. We got an estimate for all the same work for $5400. Very reputable company. After they took everything apart and out we asked them to show us what was bad and where is the mold. He said it was the compressor just being old and done. There IS NO MOLD. It's clean. I called 3rd Gen and asked them to rewrite their estimate because it's wrong. She told me you can't see the mold unless you take it apart. Well how did her guy see it? He assumed it because according to them ALL ACs have it. So her explanation explains he saw nothing in the dark attic. Because of his false report, I am out $5400 unless my dispute is accepted. This doesn't include the $9000 in insurance premiums and deductibles I've been paying knowing eventually this day would come. I believe they put this in the report knowing it would get denied so they can get the full $8400 because insurance never pays full amount. If you have extra money and don't care, use them. I have no idea what their service or maintenance is like but to scam a potential customer and insurance company is wrong and fraudulent. Living in these times, money is very tight and this will hurt us big time. I hope. They can sleep at night. But they are probably so desensitized to humanity they don't care. If I had my way, there would be no 4th Generation. I wish I could attach the pictures to prove their lie

DO NOT!!! I REPEAT DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO THE INCOMPETENCE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I was assigned this contractor through a home warranty company who was supposed to repair my water heater. It took two failed home visits for a replacement to be diagnosed. After two weeks of no hot water I called for an update on an ETA for the work. I spoke with Tori who stated an additional $1700 was requested to relocate the unit - when ai refused and advised the technician Chris stated that was optional. I was hung up on by Raz before being degraded by the """"Plumbing Supervisor"""" Katie who refused to service my unit unless it is relocated before she hung up on me. I have never been treated so badly in my life! I did not exaggerate or over speak in my experience! I promise you if you don't heed my warning you will find yourself in the same predicament!

Worst experience now am not talking about the work they did but am talking about the lady I spoke with on the phone for this business. My ac for my home went out and my warranty company contracted this business so I called to find out what the time frame was and the lady told me its an 8am to 5pm timeframe and everybody has that now because of that I missed that appointment due to my wife going to get the kids from school so I called back and told her my situation that she is gonna get the kids each day if she can narrow it down a bit and she said same time frame tomorrow and it will cancel if I missed again. Keep in mind this the second day in a hot home with 4 kids including a 2 month old infant and she was so unsympathetic with my situation and rush me off the phone. I am the only one working because my wife don't and I can't stay home so my wife is home other than getting to kids and that's why I called ahead of time to make my wife available but to sit home for 8 hours is outrageous.
