HONEST SERVICE!!! If you're looking for a plumber who provides good old fashioned service with integrity...look no further...this is the gentleman to use. On a Saturday a couple of weeks ago, my Dad inadvertently broke a valve causing the water to the entire house to be shut off. While my Dad was feverishly digging out the area where the valve was located, I called a few plumbers who wouldn't even come out for 3-4 days and one of them even gave a quote over the phone without even looking at the problem that would've broke the bank. My parents neighbor recommended Thiel Plumbing. Mr. Thiel came out almost immediately and had water running to the house again in less than an hour for under $100.

Oh, wow. My water bill was off the charts and David came over the day I called and diagnosed the problem spot on.
The water company came and estimated the cost would be in the thousands.
David got right to work and literally dug a ditch and laid a new supply line for me in less than a week with limited inconvenience to me.
The price was well below what the water company said it would be.
I highly recommend Thiel for any job, whether it is one this big or just a small repair. Could not be happier with his service. I have multiple properties on two coasts so I do know what I'm talking about here. I have never had a nicer or more honest tradesman.

We had 2 people come out and called three others. Thiel has the best price plus let my husband help to negate some of the price, he also unclogged a toilet that was clogged for a year despite us trying to snake it and putting the chemicals down it. He was awesome, I'm so impressed especially after talking to so many others.

I would recommend David Thiel to anyone! He was recommended to me by my mother in law and besides being incredibly honest and fare in his pricing, I was impressed with his response time and ability to come quickly and fix the issue we were having. With regards to pricing, he was far less than other plumbers that were also recommended to me, some with a minimum service call of $250 and our entire job with David did not cost that much. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber!

We have tried so many times to get competent plumbers in Reno that did not cost a fortune. Mostly what we got were expensive, flaky guys who actually took shortcuts and caused even greater expense down the road.
Then we found Dave Thiel - not sure how we got so lucky, but this guy is a MASTER plumber and his prices are great! He believes in being fair and reasonable with his customers and has been in business for decades.
He solved problems NO OTHER PLUMBERS IN TOWN could solve for us.

He is really busy, it is true, but if you are lucky enough to get on his schedule you will be a very happy camper. For sure.

We also bought a Multipure Water Filter from him. Works great!

Dave has fixed two plumbing problems for us: 1) leak in the shutoff valve of the irrigation system and 2) a crack in a pipe in an outside wall (probably froze due to too little insulation in the wall). Both times he figured out the problem when other plumbers could not. Plus, he always called when he said he would, showed up on time, and charged fair prices.

I called him on Sunday afternoon. His wife answered and told me her husband would fix my plumbing problems the next day. Well the next day (Monday) he called to tell me that they're in Oregon!!! He said he'll come over on Tuesday morning. No show no calls on Tuesday!!! Nothing. I called 4 times to no avail. I left a message. No one returned my calls. He finally called back on Thursday. Four days after the initial contact. What in the world made him think that I would put up with plumbing issues for so long waiting for an irresponsible person like him is beyond me?
I called Friendly Plumbing on Tuesday. Lou showed up on time and took care of all issues in honest and professional manner. Happy with their service.

Dave was courteous and prompt! He called me back right away and came to put in a water line for our fridge the very next day. Pricing was very reasonable! Will use him again in the future!!
