I would recommend David Thiel to anyone! He was recommended to me by my mother in law and besides being incredibly honest and fare in his pricing, I was impressed with his response time and ability to come quickly and fix the issue we were having. With regards to pricing, he was far less than other plumbers that were also recommended to me, some with a minimum service call of $250 and our entire job with David did not cost that much. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber!

We have tried so many times to get competent plumbers in Reno that did not cost a fortune. Mostly what we got were expensive, flaky guys who actually took shortcuts and caused even greater expense down the road.
Then we found Dave Thiel - not sure how we got so lucky, but this guy is a MASTER plumber and his prices are great! He believes in being fair and reasonable with his customers and has been in business for decades.
He solved problems NO OTHER PLUMBERS IN TOWN could solve for us.

In a word - AWESOME!!!!!!

He is really busy, it is true, but if you are lucky enough to get on his schedule you will be a very happy camper. For sure.

We also bought a Multipure Water Filter from him. Works great!

Dave has fixed two plumbing problems for us: 1) leak in the shutoff valve of the irrigation system and 2) a crack in a pipe in an outside wall (probably froze due to too little insulation in the wall). Both times he figured out the problem when other plumbers could not. Plus, he always called when he said he would, showed up on time, and charged fair prices.

I called him on Sunday afternoon. His wife answered and told me her husband would fix my plumbing problems the next day. Well the next day (Monday) he called to tell me that they're in Oregon!!! He said he'll come over on Tuesday morning. No show no calls on Tuesday!!! Nothing. I called 4 times to no avail. I left a message. No one returned my calls. He finally called back on Thursday. Four days after the initial contact. What in the world made him think that I would put up with plumbing issues for so long waiting for an irresponsible person like him is beyond me?
I called Friendly Plumbing on Tuesday. Lou showed up on time and took care of all issues in honest and professional manner. Happy with their service.

David Thiel is a genuinely caring trustworthy individual. We have had him work multiple times at our house when me and my wife were working during the day. His cost per hour is the lowest we have found in Reno and his knowledge surpasses the rest of the competition. He provided us with a very nice water filtration unit that really changed the way we drink water as well. Look forward to seeing him again on any plumbing issues that arise. Thanks again Dave!

I called Thiel Plumbing after reading reviews on Yelp. I mainly intended to deal with low water pressure in the bathroom sink, but Dave Thiel dealt with that so easily and quickly, I asked him to help with other issues. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost to me of all the work he did.

When I lived in N. Calif., I had a valued list of honest, competent people to handle things house or yard related. My new list has Dave Thiel for any plumbing issues.

The day after New Year's, our sprinkler pipes burst, flooding the yard with massive quantities of icy water for hours. We called and called plumbers. Only Dave Thiel was working.

He rushed out at warp speed, handled the issue, and charged us only $10 for gas, because no repairs or replacements were needed.

We will be giving him a call this spring to get our sprinklers up and running like they should be. He's honest, reliable, and won't beat you up with bells & whistles on the price tag.

I'd recommend Dave Thiel's plumbing service to anyone.
