I have use this company as a service from home warranty company. The company installed a central air condition with faulty leaking tray which resulted my ceiling to get destroyed by the water leaked from attic. Then while they installed the central AC system they mess up my thermostat wiring because person who done the job not electric expert. Now heating is not working because of their unprofessional work manner. After do a recall via home warranty company they never return a call to schedule a service to fix the heating.. Whenever I called it is going to voicemail, I tried calling from a different number and they answered. It is very clear they are avoiding my calls because they don't care about their customers. Even If they answered they said they will get back to me by EOD but never did. This went two months, even home warranty company cannot contact them. If you ever thinking of getting a service please spend little extra and get a reputable company. Because this company is the worst of it kind.

Very poor service, called them for fixing drain. Charged us close to $200 - didn't resolve the issue. Drain blocked again next day. When called back they claimed the charge was for ""diagnosis"" and referred us to another plumbing service. Seriously???
Call them if you like your money down the drain!

I am an American Home Shield (AHS) customer, that feels ripped off by AHS and Thiede plumbing company. I called for a broken shower handle, but also wanted them to fix a pop-up blocker mechanism, and check for stoppage on another sink. I started with the assumption that any plumbing issues we want looked at within one visit would be covered fully an paid for, because that is the case in another state where I lived and had AHS - their fine print is different for different locations.

Thiede is terrible if things don't go smoothly the first time. They're OK upto the point of showing up, but after that you are left to destiny!

-Thiede charged $470.64 for (improperly) installing an internal cartridge for a broken shower handle. It was only covered upto $250 per my contract, and I then owed $220 change. Naturally I asked what the breakdown was.

Dave, the owner said there were charges (unknown amount) for fixing the pop-up blocker, when the plumber who came on site admitted to ""just yanking it up"" (a 10 second job). That, like we all know, does not comprise fixing a pop up sink mechanism, which is supposed to block or open the sink drain upon operating a mechanism behind the faucet. There was less that an hour spent by one plumber (probably ~40 min), but apparently they charge (unknown) labor time and (unknown) travel time. Why take a job that is an hour away? - they could say ""no"", or inform the customer they will be charged a ridiculous unknown amount for their plumber to drive to their place, and to do the work.Several requests for breakdown of charges were ignored and to this day I don't really know what we paid for. Shows lack of transparency.

Verbally Dave exaggerated what was done, and said they add travel time but doesn't tell you how much they added to your tab for that. They drive a large van to advertise their business, but always have to go back to the store another time (to get stuff, and probably add charges for the time they spend doing that in addition to the item they bought). This is despite discussing and sending pictures beforehand.

-they ignored tens of calls and were only responsive when I contacted them through AHS when things went wrong, only because they are supposed to abide by the contract with AHS and respond within 24 hours. That shows how much they care about a customer.

- Dave shows unreasonable rudeness
**threatened to not show up to complete the fix unless charges were paid, when all I was requesting was a breakdown! I am a law abiding customer with great credit. Of course, no answer when I put him in the spot and asked a basic common sense question about whether he would pay a $220 charges if he didn't know what he was paying for
**lied about providing a breakdown to American Home Shield. Both parties denied me a breakdown for the ridiculous $220.
** I am frustrated that he is clearly milking the insurance company and customers while hiding behind the phone veil and being rude to a vulnerable customer that needs things fixed when they did the original work and needed to be recalled to fix it
**says he accounted for the drive to the customer location, ""fixing the pop up sink blocker"" (see above) and turning a faucet on to find out for if there was drain stoppage (it took 30seconds for the plumber on site to say ""nah, there is no stoppage there"")
**I kept my composure, knowing what he was doing, and tried to see if I could negotiate a better price. He 'generously' deducted $20 of the charges.....

Both AHS (in MA) and Thiede have lost my business, and this effort is to ensure my network of friends (and the wider web community) don't get burned like I did.

What started out a simple repair ended up costing more than twice as much. Being inexperienced in plumbing repairs, I was not presented with all viable options and repairs were not fully described. Make sure you ask plenty of questions and get detailed estimate and detailed invoice, not just summary. Buyer's remorse, buyer beware.

I would recommend this company to all family and friends. I called late on Thursday and left a message that we had some issues with our water heater. Dave called back 5 minutes later and after talking gave us a quote for a new water heater. He had the water heater Friday AM and called with an ETA. Chris came right on time and got the job done. The price was as quoted.

Being in the service industry I can be quite critical of poor service. The service we received was by far the best customer service I have experienced in years. Both Dave and Chris were polite, professional, pleasant and even joked with us.

Please give them a call when you are in need of a full service plumbing company that cares about their service as well as their product.

Please don't use the services from this company.
They are not trained, don't have the skills to fix basic heating issues. They have to call their boss over the phone to diagnose issues. You will be paying so they can learn on the job . Call Nashoba Air (978) 692-9955, reliable, know their craft and fair price

We suddenly had no heat on our second floor... had guests, dogs, and multiple people in our home. The first company we called came out and clearly tried to sell us on a new boiler without doing anything to really uncover the problem. Then we called Thiede. These folks showed up early, prepared, and figured out and fixed the problem right away! They didn't say anything bad about the other company and even showed me how to fix the problem if it ever happened again. I would recommend these folks again and again. Phenomenal experience and service.

Thiede Plumbing has been great. We were having issues with our AC. Thiede quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the new parts and repaired the system. IMO - they truly standout as a company that cares about the customer. They are responsive, conscientious and most important trustworthy. I highly recommend them!

I can't say enough about how great Theide plumbing has been, I'm so happy I've found them! They have helped me with many different projects, big and small, from a leaky faucet, to a broken dishwasher, a broken toilet, and now a hot water tank replacement. The owner, Dave, is always very responsive, and in this recent case he was incredibly accommodating when he learned that we had had to shut water off to the entire house due to a corroded valve that prevented us from only shutting off the hot water heater. His team is always professional and respectful of our property, they arrive when they say they are going to, and we haven't had another problem with anything they've repaired. I would definitely recommend Thiede plumbing.

If we could rank minus stars then I would! This company put in a new outdoor faucet less than 2 years ago. We found out the faucet is leaking due to a vacuum breaker that is broken. Not sure why a less than 2 year old faucet would need a new vacuum breaker. Anyway, it's a 5 minute fix, IF only I could access the cap to the vacuum breaker. They installed the faucet and sodderred it so there is no give and the cap is butt against the siding. There is no way to access this vacuum breaker. I got a second opinion and they indicated ""why would they (Thiede) install this so you can't access any repair to the faucet?""

I called the owner, Dave, who was unprofessional and defensive. He blamed me as the customer for not indicating to them during their installation of the faucet 1.5 years ago that we wanted them to put in a ""Shark bite"" or drill another hole so we can access the vacuum breaker. Are you serious? I don't know what these terms and parts are as I am not a plumber. This is the plumber's responsibility to make sure it is installed correctly, not the customer. Moreover, Dave was immature and unprofessional, threw a verbal tantrum and hung up on us.

STAY CLEAR of this company who doesn't own up to their mistakes. Mistakes happen and I get that but geez, just take responsibility and fix it when you didn't do it right the first time.
