We provide licensed Well and Septic services throughout central North Carolina.
Founded in 1976, The Water Specialist was created by Ray Sparrow.
Ray, a licensed plumber from a family of plumbers, spent years working in his family's contracting business.
His focus shifted to water wells, well pumps, treatment systems, and water quality testing.
He found homeowners using water wells without access to dependable service in the Triangle and nearby areas.
His family's firm preferred to concentrate on plumbing, so Ray recognized a chance to establish his own well, pump, and water treatment business.
Since its inception, the firm has grown to feature a separate division for septic system installation and repair, along with an inspection division for real estate.
Currently, the company employs 25 full-time staff members.
The Water Specialist was founded in 1976 by Ray, Jim's father.
Having grown up in the family business, Ray was a third-generation contractor.
He began his venture from home, working out of their kitchen table.
Jim and his brother Caleb have spent their lives involved in the contracting field in different roles.
In the last 15 years, they have been directly involved with The Water Specialist.
At present, Jim holds multiple licenses, including NC Well Contractor, NC Licensed Plumber, NC Electrical Contractor, and NC Septic Inspector and Installer.
