Lynn is outstanding. Plumbing is never cheap, but he helped us make a good decision that was the best use of the money. He could have upsold us and taken us for more, but he didn't. All around a great experience, and I'll use them again if I'm in need of a plumber.

These guys are really only good for unplugging a drain or replacing a simple fixture. I would not use nor recommend this company for any serious plumbing issue. I had to go through this company because of the Home Warranty on my 111yr old Home. Most of the shame falls on the Home Warranty Company but their response is poor as well. I had two service calls that were made. The first was for a clogged drain in my first floor bathroom. It took 2 days for them to call and schedule and another for them to arrive. Originally, they were not going to auger the drain because a """"clean out was not accessible above grade."""" My response was to remove the toilet & reset it myself after the call. Even then the tech, name redacted, balked. I gave him an extra $20 because he was going to leave prior to that & I need the bathroom back in operation after being down for 4 days. C for Unstoppers & F for American Home Shield. Second call was about two months later. Again, my home is 111yrs old & plumbing was mostly original. This time it took a three days to schedule 4 days for them to come out. Leaving me with 1/2 of the bathrooms in my house out of service. The main waste riser for the second & third floor bathrooms failed catastrophically. Initially the Tech did not see the problem. I had to show him. Bear in mind this is the head service Tech for the area, Tampa Bay. While I was down stairs he turned on all the faucets in the secondary bath causing the water to pour down the chase and bleed out to my heartwood pine hardwood floors. I had to rush upstairs and shut the water off. When I sternly asked what he was doing he replied """"I need to see where the leak is."""" My response """"I can show you with the flood you just created. The only positive I can add was he was good at getting the Home Warranty claim processed fully but the quote for replacement without demo was 3 times what other companies quoted with full demo/access in their scope. """"F"""" grade for Unstoppers service B admin service, """"D"""" for scheduling and """"C"""" for American Home Shield. Bottom line if you have no choice because of Home Warranty Service then just watch the work they do very carefully or go out of pocket. I definitely would not recommend their company.

I had a serious drain problem in one of my bathrooms. I had tried to snake the drain myself, but was not successful. I called two plumbers who snaked the same drain. The water backed up in the main soil stack after only 30 hours for the first plumber. The second Plumber's job kept the drain open for about one week, but he told me to have a plumber use a camera if the pipe stopped up again. It stopped up again. I called Un-Stoppers and they sent Travis and Bo out with a camera. I have a two story home, so they pulled the upstairs toilet that was having the problem and ran the camera down. To make a long story short, they discovered that my drain pipe under my cement slab had collapsed. It was Orangeburg pipe. They sent two more plumbers, Lee and Mikey, to fix my problem. They removed the concrete, took out the old, collapsed pipe, and replaced with new pipe. They were absolutely excellent in starting and completing this huge project. I am thankful that I found an honest Plumbing company that knows what they are doing. Also, their repair bill was reasonable and well worth the finished product. I will hire this company again if I need a plumber in the future. I highly recommend this company.

I had to use this company as I filed a claim and that's who they sent out. The tech who came out was called Lynn. As far as the work goes, my garbage disposal did get fixed but I think he screwed up my dishwasher as it was working just fine before he came and he even asked me if I use it to know if to connect something back to it. I told him I do and to leave it how it was. My main issue however is that I asked him if he had a mask and he said no. I provided one to him as my 1yr old has severe asthma along with other respiratory issues and I am also on immunosuppressive shots. I explained that to him and with Covid on the rise I did not want to put us in any harm. Although he did take the mask, everytime I move away he would take it off and then he was constantly coughing and hacking. He then went on to say it's a smokers cough. Honestly, I dont care what kind of cough it is, why not just wear the mask? But he intentionally put us at risk. I had to air out and disinfect the entire kitchen for a day before returning to the house. I then noticed my dishwasher not running in water and when I called to inquire about it, Mr Lee picked up for the tech whose name is Lynn and said that he told him I was rude to him. I explained that I wasnt rude and just asked him to wear a mask and my reasoning behind it. Needless to say, the company denies any wrong doing and because I complained about Lynn, he said he would not send anyone out (although at first he was going to but when I mentioned about Lynn and the mask he changed his mind). So now I would have to pay for another company to come out and see what he did to my dishwasher.

I highly recommend them for any plumbing problems. They came out quick and found my moms broken pipe fast. She was so afraid of the cost, but it ended up much less than She expected. Frank was so friendly and helpful. Being that she is over 70 i worry about her getting scammed, but Frank made me and her feel comfortable and I knew the job would get done correctly Thank you all so much for your help and kindness you showed my mom, Janet.

The unstoppers proved to be both unreliable and unethical. They were scheduled to come out on a Friday and simply said """"sorry, we'll be out next week."""" Of greater concern was the work they did. They came to my home to fix a hot water heater (check for a leak). They determined that there was no leak. BUT, after they left, there was no hot water. While they were there, they made several changes / adjustments to the unit. When I called them, they lied, saying that they never touched the unit. They simply refused to come back to fix what they broke. Do yourself a favor: Find another plumber!!!

I called this company initially to repair a leak in the shower drain. They responded quickly, but then told us we would need all new water lines. The main plumber was Frank. He had two young men doing most of the work. He barely supervised the job. He sat in the van a lot because of the heat I believe in the AC. The two young men cobbled the plumbing up so bad it looks like a kindergartener did it. They two young men ran an extension cord from our kitchen for their tools leaving our door open. So instead of us burning up our AC unit we turned it off. We had a plug in the screen room right where they were working. One of the young plumbers broke my vanity door. One of them ran a line right through of AC duct work so half of our mobile home had no AC. We just had a new vapor barrier put in a week before and Frank said they would just drill a hole for the new water line to fit through. Evidently the young men wasn't told to do that. They cut the vapor barrier with a utility knife which left big holes. So we had the vapor barrier person come back to fix the damage they did which cost us another $500. We paid Unstopper $4500. They replaced our outdoor water spicket and used tin snips to in stall that instead of putting it where the other one was. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I feel Frank was a very good salesman for this company, but their job was terrible! Never use them because they don't know how to do a neat job. We have lines running everywhere! Very unprofessional!

I had a water heater issue, it's old and rusty with miminal leaking from the top and the bottom. Even from the untrained eye, I could see that it needed to be replaced. Because of my home insurance company, I got stuck with this bunch. The guy came out and replaced some flexible pipe and called it done. My mom was there and she said, aren't you going to replace it? He said, why would I replace a perfectly good water heater? It's not what he said as much as how he interacted with my mother. She's pretty laid back. He made her so mad with snide and rude comments that she told him that he wouldn't get any good words from her. I called the company and spoke with someone who said he heard my mother shouting at the repair guy, over his phone. Impossible. We've since determined that it was probably the television in the background. I had to call the warranty company back and bully them into sending someone out again to be sure that the water heater was safe. I was told by my handyman that it could explode in it's condition. He wasn't getting the work, why would he lie? Same guy came back out, was there less than a minute and announced to my mom that we're getting a new water heater and left. i waited for more than a week before i heard from the office again. I told her that I wouldn't use her company on a bet. I've also dropped the homeowner's insurance because they conveniently only cover the water heater - from their warehouse - and labor to install it. Less than $300. Most water heaters cost more than that. I've read other reviews about this company. None were good. If they provided minus rating stars at the top, i'd pick the worst. BOOO Unstoppers BOOO American Home Shield - I will say, they have excellent customer service over the phone. They need to pick better contractors.

The negative reviews that you may see on here are out of date. I had service 12/23/22 and this review is based on that service. Recently I was experiencing symptoms of a septic tank that needed servicing. I had the tank serviced, but it did not alleviate the problem. So at 8:00 am I tried calling several plumbing contractors for service. I was feeling a bit desperate in that I couldn't flush the toilets. From most companies I didn't get my call answered, but Unstoppers answered my call. Thank goodness they did. I had tried snaking the main clean out myself, but was coming up agains a blockage. In speaking to the dispatcher at Unstoppers, he indicated all of their service techs and plumbers were really busy, but he thought he would be able to squeeze me in. A few minutes later I got a text letting me k is I would be getting a service call from Paul between 10 and 12. I got updates by text throughout the 2-hour window letting me know when Paul would arrive. Paul came set up, quickly assessed the situation and got to work. It did take a good bit of effort to clear the blockage. Paul was very determined to make sure everything was working perfectly before he left. I really appreciate the quick and thorough service. I will call them for all my future plumbing needs and would recommend them to anyone in need of service.
