I called Schuelke based on some of the other Yelper reviews when several issues were happening at the same time at my house: leaky kitchen faucet, leaky bathroom faucet, running toilet and dishwasher not working. I was given an estimate of about $1200 to fix everything which included them installing a new regulator to adjust my water pressure which they said would fix the leaking faucets and the running toilet issues. So they got me to do the regulator and also suggested getting a new toilet. I was very specific that I wanted a good toilet, preferably skirted. Plumber explained that I should get a level 6 or above or I wouldn't be happy with the toilet. then called me later to say they didn't have the skirted version at the wherehouse. I said fine, bring me a level 6 or above Toto toilet without the skirt, no problem. they referred me to an electrician for the dishwasher. long story short... well, turns out they installed a LEVEL 1 toilet that I kid you not, does not flush properly unless you hold down the handle for the entire flush. then to top it off, the bathroom sink started leaking again. I called them two weeks in a row regarding the issue and was brushed off, told that the plumber couldn't come out on Saturday (they originally did all the work on a saturday with 24 hrs notice). I got irritated and stopped trying. I'm still looking for a great plumber. these guys talk a good game but I think they seem more interested in up-selling than actually giving great service. I'm disappointed...

Plumbers showed up on time, were very neat(put booties over their shoes before they entered the house) and quickly fixed the plugged kitchen sink. Would use again.

I have used this company since the ""twins"", owners, were young. They did copper repipe of a 26 unit building back in the 1980's. I have referred my condo to them for extensive work when a building leak needed to be dug up and replaced to DWP pipe. Concrete needed to be cut and lots of dirt dug out. I have always been satisfied and my HOA now has this company on our approved plumbing list. They are great. They respond quickly and their work is solid.

I recently asked for a bid on anew home I am buying..................lots of issues but needed a cost analysis to negotiate with seller. They were on the site in 1 day, spent time reviewing my inspectors report, and provided the estimated cost on the phone and in writing within 1 day!!!!

How you get better than that? P ricing is good and work is first rate. I have referred them to all my real estate agents. Our building management company now uses them for numerous other properties.

My guys were for this bid were MIke Longo and Willie Meton; both fantastic.

No other company can give this kind of result in short time when a crisis happens.

Advertises $69/drain special and $40 Fridays on their website and when you call, does not honor their advertisements. Dishonest practices and sketchy service. DON't USE THEM!!

Called them because of the review on Yelp. They had to order a part. Then, no follow-up. Repeatedly called for an update. Finally moved on to another plumber.

Because Sarlo Property Management are lazy & lawbreaking, they will not take care of their tenants on the weekends. I had an emergency overflow kitchen sink that started backing up last night & I had to hire a plumber. I got 3 estimates over the phone, and Schuelke was the most responsive, helpful, and best priced, as well. When I told them to come because I was bucketing water from my kitchen sinks & pouring the sludgy water into my toilet, they arrived promptly. Willie, the plumber, was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and supportive, and wrote a very detailed receipt, explaining what Sarlo Property Management must accomplish, since this was due to their plumbing negligence (this is the 3rd time this has happened since Sarlo took over the building 5 years ago). I highly recommend Schuelke. They resolved a nightmare situation for me . . . for the time being, anyway, since Sarlo Property Management has to repair the problem that caused this issue to begin with, which has nothing to do with me or my unit - or it will happen again. This is a FIVE STAR plumber, and I'd give them more stars if more stars were available!

Schuelke Plumbing's technician Juan and his assistant just left my place and they were great! They wore booties in the house, snaked my kitchen sink, checked their work by running water through it all, then wiped down and cleaned up. They arrived fast and were here for only 10-15 minutes!! Love them and will call again next time!

Most professional, friendly, trustworthy, honest, neat, clean, respectful, well behaved group of plumbers that I've ever hired. Pricing is so good that the competition couldn't even come close. I have a lifetime choice for plumbers now, Schuelke Plumbing gets all my business from now on.

Take notice of the rating that all the other reviewers give them. You don't earn that sort of respect without performing with excellence. Reward good behavior; hire the people who have earned high praise and promote excellence in this high performance country of ours. Go USA!

I called four plumbing companies during this afternoon's storm and Schuelke Plumbing was the only company that agreed to come out for same day service. They arrived about an hour later and promptly unclogged our storm drain. The technicians were extremely courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. This company will be our plumbers for life while residing in the LA area. One company quoted 190/hour and refused to work today b/c of the sporadic rain. Schuelke was offering a 68/drain clearing special during the month of Jan but the phone representative said that was for indoor bathroom, etc. drains; however, to our pleasant surprise, they only charged us 68 to unclear the storm drain and they even cleared a portion of the leaves piled up on our roof for free! They also offer damaged pipe replacements which we will be doing through them once the storm stops. Thank you Tony for making a bad day turn into a great day with your kind service.

Update: I think it's funny business practice to reward new customers but charge repeat customers a lot more.. strangest thing is, most businesses do this.. why??

I had more plumbing problems but decided to go with GR Plumbing b/c they were charging better prices. Unfortunately, I had to subtract a star for Schuelke.. they were like a one hitter quitter.
