My appointment was made a day before with a 4hr window. The only reason this is 4stars and not five is because of the appt issue. My guy arrived just at the 4th hour. I had an emergency animal rescue and was trying to pick up 3 dogs. I had to find someone else to grab them and hold until I could get them. My guy did an excellent job and it was easy-peezy and done in no time. bathroom area was clean and spotless! Definitely a customer for all time. Thank you

My first visit from them didn't start off so well with the time for the plumber who was to do an inspection passing and me having to call them to find out what was up. The second looked like it almost was going to go the same way because when they called to let me know the A/C guys were not going to make it they said they couldn't find the appointment. They got it though and I had two plumbers out on a sales call not long after. They gave me my options and we discussed what would be best for what I really wanted to do and then set up the install. I never felt pressured to do any other work or that I had to pick one of the options. The third time for the installation went off without a hitch.

I got a call shortly after the start of my time window and David showed up quickly after. He broke down again what he would be doing and installing and how long the water would be off. It took a little less time then estimated to get the old softener out, a new conditioner in and the descaler installed along with new connections to the hot water heater. Everything was cleaned up and he walked me through how the system worked and set the timer on the conditioner. I got the warranty card that he filled out for me and I just need to drop in the mail and the manufacturer's information for the equipment. Now I have a no salt virtualy maintenance free system.

Made an appointment to have kitchen sink installed and shower head put on. Appointment time was supposed to be between noon and two. Wasted my whole Saturday waiting. After two calls from customer service advising me that the guy was running behind... he finally showed up at 4pm. First he tried to tell me that the job would have to be put off until Monday. I let him know that I had an appointment for the work to be done today. He then advised me that in order to install the kitchen sink / faucet and the shower head it would cost $1,600??!!!! I asked him how many hours he thought it would take??? He said probably three... maybe four... or possibly five.... I couldn't believe it??!!! We have all of the supplies. This was for simply labor. I shared that I had a previous bid for much less but trusted Goettl and since Sunny was acquired ... I wanted to have them do the job. Physicians do not even make $600 per hour labor???!!! He then made a call to someone named ""Chris"" to make a perceived attempt at rectifying the situation. Then advised that $1200 was the lowest they could go. I promptly escorted this young man from the home. It was clear that Sunny was not interested in performing this job. Consumers beware!!

OVERPRICED.
POSITIVES: They arrived on time, were clean and friendly.
NEGATIVES: Ridiculously OVERPRICED & tried to ""upsale"" an unnecessary procedure.

We had a toilet that was not flushing consistently. We had tried plunging, the use of an auger & the Dawn/hot water trick prior to calling The Sunny Plumber. They charge $49 just to arrive at your house but MAY choose to apply that to the correct of the problem.

Plumber #1 arrived from this company & stated he would need to charge $586 just to remove and replace the toilet to just try to diagnose the problem but once he removed it, his ""supervisor"" would come out with the camera on a snake and look through the pipes for ""free"". Was told the toilet had to be removed in order to look through the pipes. So yes, before we even started and had a diagnosis, the initial cost was $586. I had to ask if the $49 fee could be applied to that and only then did he ""offer"" that. Now the price is $537.

""Supervisor"" Plumber arrives, snakes the pipes, nothing in them. Tried to convince us we needed a power wash of our plumbing to prevent the pipes from building up ""junk"" (like a clogged artery in our bodies) and this would cost $2,500. (Basically, the supervisor is the equivalent of the closer at a car sales lot.)

Turns out an unflushable item (thanks to our 5yo) was actually stuck inside the bottom of the toilet. It took less than an hour to remove the toilet, wait on the ""supervisor"", snake the pipes with a camera, find the problem and replace the toilet. We were told we were lucky to find and remove the object from the toilet. Great! But after researching, this should have never been more than $120-360 and we feel taken. Too late now. Lesson learned. Basically, we got charged $537 to remove and replace the same toilet.

Don't make the same mistake we made!!!

Never showed up for either appointment I scheduled. When I called, I was told that the assistant on the phone didn't schedule either day or time I was told, but a completely different day when I knew I would have never been available.

They ran the snake through 2 main stub outs to clear the drain and ran a camera as well to show the main. Great job and very easy to talk to.

We wanted 2 Moen faucet cartridges replaced. The tech showed up within the scheduled time frame. He quoted me $554?!?! Wow. I've been a home owner for thirty years and I'm a licensed remodeling contractor. The MSRP for the cartridge is $77. I bought them online from Amazon for $32 each. I've replaced several of these types of cartridges over the years, and even have one of the special tools the manufacturer recommends. For reference, I went to Moen's website and watched the installation video prior to the tech's arrival. The entire process takes three minutes. So let's just say I was willing to pay full retail for the cartridges. And for the sake of argument, let's say the tech took twice as long to do the work as the guy in Moen's video, AND let's factor in the three minutes to turn off the water supply and turn it back on. That means the Sunny Plumber wanted to charge me $400 for 15 minutes of work. I'm no math wizard, but that seems to add up to $1600 per hour. That's more than the surgeon who fixed my knee, LOL! I'm all about paying for value and I've reached the point in my life where I'd rather pay someone I can trust to do certain things rather than doing them myself. In this instance, nothing about my experience would lead me to trust this company. The tech, though nice enough, didn't offer any justification for the price, didn't offer to build any value, just said, ""I just click on the pictures and it tells me the price."" If you're looking for a plumber you can trust who'll charge a reasonable price, keep looking.

The response time, to my home was Sutton the time that I was given by the office. The technician explained what was needed to fix my problem in great detail and answered all of my questions clearly, concise and professionally. I was very pleased with the service I received.
