PLEASE do your due diligence when using Sunny Plumber. I didn't and I'm paying the price. Rather than just getting my pipes cleared of a problem, I was sold on doing an entire house flush, adding a return on the main drain for a little over 5K and on top of that they used a camera and tried telling me there was a ""drop"" under my driveway and another 12K would fix that. I have had another local pluming company come out and they said it wasn't an issue and they have also been told by other customers that Sunny said the same to them. In the end, don't make the same mistake I did, check with other pluming companies BEFORE having any work done by Sunny

Overall, great experience. Tech was knowledgeable and friendly. No pushy sales tactics. The only reason they didn't get a 5-star was their promptness. Although they schedule a 4 hour block, I explained to the scheduler that I needed a specific arrival time. After assuring me the tech would arrive at noon, he didn't arrive until 2 and there was no call or explanation as to why he was late.

I really agree with Robert K. Would not give even one star to this company. Our first experience with them was a few months ago when we had them install a water filter system. They sent a guy out alone to do a job that would be faster if 2 people did it. He was slow, took many breaks to play on his phone, was totally disorganized, whined about having to do so much work, said he was sick, etc. I was beside myself by the end of the day. The work he did was so sloppy and I did not trust that it was done right! My husband took pictures after the installer left (after 6 p.m.) & took them to the office in Tempe. Of course management couldn't believe it & scheduled their ""best"" installer to come out and ""fix"" the mess. Now we are having to take off another day of work to have it re-done. The 2nd installer was so opposite of the 1st. Hard worker, organized, but it still took him all day to undo and then correctly install the system.

This week our rental in Glendale had a leak in the shower. We gave the Sunny Plumber another chance. The plumber came out and assessed the situation and determined it was the valve. Price for evaluation is $79. He did not give an estimate for the work and the tenants gave the go ahead to fix it. He worked about 30 minutes. He turned off the water, removed existing valve, installed new repair cartridge/kit. Then he called me for payment. The cost? $365.00! I could not believe my ears and asked if that price was for real. He said it was. I knew I was being ripped off but paid.

I called the company today and spoke with Don. He said the price is correct and that it is a flat rate that is used by plumbers nationwide and that nobody charges hourly anymore nor do they break down the cost for the customer.

I have to add that while speaking to customer service rep I was told that the plumber was going back out today. I was shocked and asked why. It seems there was no hot water when the tenants went in to shower that evening. Of course there would be no charge for today's visit.

I am livid and getting the word out about the ""Shady Plumber"" as Robert aptly named them. Telling everyone I know not to be fooled by the sweet hometown commercials. Price gouging at it's best. Give me the good independent plumber who is honest and knows what he is doing!

There will never be another Sunny Plumber at my house. They do try to sell water softeners and really push their yearly contract so they can come in and screw up something else several times a year.

Their Customer Service was outstanding. They came when expected and people were courteous. That's where my happiness ends. They came and, of course, gave me a quote for everything they think is wrong (I will have all their work double checked). After they left I checked under the sink (I was just curious what everything actually looked like under there) and found a leaky pipe. This was a sink that they'd checked and told me was A-OK. You can tell it's an old leak since everything is soaked and there is mold and small bugs of some sort. I paid them to check all this stuff and this is what I get?! No, not in my world Sunny Plumber, not in my world. These guys will never see the inside of my home again.

Corgie came and did a general inspection of all plumbing areas.
He was prompt, courteous and knowledgable of what he was doing.
Very explanatory and was not pushy at all.
We do think the new water heater quote was extremely high and will be contacting someone else for the work but overall good experience
