I had 2 plumbing jobs and my warranty company assigned this plumbing company. These guys put the blame on (mis)usage and incorrectly mention that the pop-up assembly rod is missing. They did not bother to see that the rod was hanging below the sink. They never corrected the diagnosis after multiple calls. I got a plumber outside the warranty and he fixed the problem in one fourth of the estimate these guys provided. I will stay away from this plumbing company.

Absolute GARBAGE company. Completely lied to my face. American Home Shield sent them to give a second opinion on my water heater. By the time they sent Shining Knights, my house had been without consistent hot water for 3 weeks AFTER replacing both thermostats, elements and having the tank flushed per AHS recommendation. The Shining Knight plumber looked me in the face and told me my heater had to be replaced, only to find out from AHS that Shining Knights told them there was NO. MECHANICAL. ISSUE with my heater. Shining Knights then could not provide me with a copy of the work order or diagnosis and were extremely rude to my wife and I over the phone.

Stay far away from this trash company. Keep reading older reviews for the literal same story when it comes to dealing with them via American Home Shield.

The technician Carlos did a great job with my water heater. He arrived in a timely manner, gave me an estimated amount of time to complete the task and was done within the timely fashion. He is very knowledgeable and the process for me making sure my water heater is properly clean, and I appreciate that he came equipped with the necessary tools to replace my burner, no delays done safely and swiftly.

This company wants nothing to do with home warranty cases. Just like other reviews the tech was nice the office was terrible. Please know the tech Jamil that came to our house was professional and courteous.
We had a leak in our bathroom wall Monday morning. Called our home warranty that morning and was scheduled shining plumbing. Their soonest appointment was Thursday. Ok we have a leak and we are going through the warranty company we go with the flow. Jamil then tells us he has to order a part he will be out Monday, we will get a call from the team.
Monday comes at 830(when they open) my husband calls and speaks to Bruce. Bruce is short, dismissive, and uninformative. He says he will call him back with an update. My husband calls back at 1050 and speaks to Sophia. She is defensive, condescending and rude. Says we need to wait till later for more information.
I call after and speak with Sophia hoping to calmly ask where is the transparency. We do have a water leak in our bathroom wall for the last 7 days. It's a bit urgent. She is again rude and defensive and explains to me how over worked her techs are and they have to do so much in dealing with parts and being in the field. We need to wait till after 3 we will have a call from them.
330 i get a call from Bruce. The part is not here they won't have the part for another day we cannot get scheduled till Thursday ( 11 days after leak was discovered!!) I tell him this is unacceptable. He says do you want this date and time or I can push it out further. I say fine, I call my home warranty and tell them I want to fire the shinning knights I do not want them coming to my house. I want the money reimbursement.
We call our own plumber. He comes out the next day. Says the part you need can be found at the local hardware store. Goes to his truck gets the part goes into the attic and fixes it within an hour.
I hope this story helps you make your decision. I have never been spoken to by a company like that and I will never do business with one that treats me and my husband like this.
