OK, I was in the same boat as many of the other people leaving their reviews. I read them before they came out. I had NO HOT WATER on Friday night. That same night, I jumped online and paid for the service visit or trade fee through my warranty company. I got a call on Sunday afternoon before the Super Bowl stating they could be out Monday afternoon, and Carlos would be the technician. I was worried that Carlos was gonna have some funky attitude. The only problem with Carlos is that he's a Cowboys fan . He was friendly and professional. He was running early and called to see if it was ok to get here early. He showed up just after 12 pm. I was originally scheduled for the 1-4 window. I was apprehensive about what the cost would be, and Carlos didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. He stated everything appeared normal, and I have 30 days. If something happens, call them, and they will come back out. They exceeded my expectations, and I'm thankful for the fast response and courteous service.

I had some sink issues so my home warranty assigned me this company. A little over a week ago I had this company come out to fix my sink and today I go grab a bottle from under the sink and see this huge hole!!! They tried to HIDE IT!!!

This company sent out a lazy liar who did not want to help me or fix my issue in the kitchen, I would recommend taking business to someone else who actually does work, this company has nothing but lazy liars and a nasty witch that works the phone. I recommend the home warranty replaces them with a real company. Terrible value and terrible staff.

First off, let me preface this review by saying that my home warranty company sent The Shining Plumbing Knights to fix some plumbing issues on my home so I didn't seek out their services. Initially, they were super responsive and sent a technician named Devin out within 1-2 days. My garbage disposal was repaired right away and the leaking faucets in my master bath were completely removed to be replaced. Due to the home being older, we were told that new faucets had to be ordered. Luckily Devin left one of the sinks intact so we could use it in the interim because I didn't get the faucets replaced until about 1 month later! At first when I called (within 1 week of no sink) to follow up, they said he was out sick and couldn't send another technician for another week. They sent out J who said Devin basically didn't tell him what was going on so he could not do anything that day, although he was very helpful at explaining what parts needed to be ordered and installed. When I called again to schedule Devin, who was reportedly back from sick leave, I received a confirmation date and time but he never showed up that day! I called after our window of arrival time lapsed and the dispatch person basically said she couldn't locate Devin and this wasn't his first time not showing up for a job. Finally they sent J again 2 days later and I would've gave 5 stars if he was the one who I got to work with the entire time.

J was very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done even though he wasn't the original technician to start the job. He showed up on time and didn't ghost us like the other person did. He also made sure we had as close to the sink fixture that we had prior and followed up with the warranty company to make sure it was not an additional cost to us. Thank you to J for finishing the job!

If I could give them negative reviews I would. I received a message from them stating they were coming between 3-6 to check out a shower leak draining into the ceiling of my laundry room. Carlos the technician showed up at 1:20. I work from home and was literally in the middle of giving a presentation to 200 people. I had already text him to tell him I was in a presentation and couldnt make it downstairs to let him in until I was done. Then he showed up so I told him through the ring app, I could remotely let him in but my yellow lab would greet him or he could wait for me to finish the presentation. After his rude response, I again told him I could let him in after my presentation for work. This is all on my ring app video that I can't upload here for some reason so you can hear I was anything but rude.

Then he messaged me and asked if we should reschedule. I told him the appt was supposed to be from 3-6. He said he called the office and they never told me that, so I screenshot the message I received and sent to him. It was at that point I could see out my window upstairs that he just took off. I never heard from him or his office.

My husband then contacted the office and they were beyond rude. They accused me of yelling at him when he asked about rescheduling and that's why he sped off; however, I never spoke to him about rescheduling, it was in the text message I attached and I don't feel like that was rude in any way, shape, or form. When he asked to speak to the manager the customer service representative flat out said ""no."" He told my husband since I work from home there was no reason I couldn't let him in the door.

I needed their service. I have an huge leak coming down my ceiling from the shower drain, so why would I intentionally try and miss this appointment? This company is Unbelievable!!! Do not use them unless you want to be scammed and deal with rude people.

American Home Shield, you need to find another subcontractor because The Shining Plumbing Knights SUCK!!!!

They were the company my home warranty sent out. He knocked on my door asked where my clean out was and then when I said I'm not sure, he said call me when you find it. $89 later I am still sitting in the exact same situation. No refund, no help and no resolution. Not sure if this review is more about this company or maybe my home warranty. But all the way around the experience cost me $89 and I got nothing for it.. so it was like throwing $89 in the trash.

The dispatcher clearly believes the customer doesn't matter.very rude and disrespectful over the phone. Their plumber had an issue getting power to his machine and took it upon himself to check the circuit breaker. He then caused a SHORT in the kitchen and living room leaving us with no power. It seems like I'm going to have to go to the BBB due to the lack of help from the dispatcher. This place should honestly not be in business.

On top of the power issue he blamed the city and said the mainline was clogged with roots. The city came out promptly afterwards and said there was nothing in the pipes like the plumber said. Tried to contact Carlos. No answer and over 15 calls.

Wasted money. Poor Experience. Terrible Customer Service and on top of that they will not help fix the power that they themselves messed up. Unbelievable.

Carlos was very communicative and fixed our problem quickly. He spent a good amount of time checking for other possible problems and was very friendly. The Shining Plumbing Knights were sent through my home warranty and I had a very good experience.

Man these guys suuuuck. We experienced many of the same things others have reported. The tech was condescending and attempted to refuse to check everything we called about. Then he was very proud of himself for doing some of the work. I called to find out when the rest of the work would be completed and had another very rude and unprofessional conversation with a different person in which I was told they are incapable of clearing the main line blockage. I reported the issues with the tech and was told that i must be lying because he has multiple 5 star reviews and everyone loves him. Also we were lucky he even showed up at all because he has a medical condition.
We requested the home warranty company remove them from the list.
