Both my toilets were backed up, water was also backing up into the shower and tub. Toilet was leaking from the base onto tile flooring. I needed immediate assistance. Daniel came to the rescue! He checked the bathrooms and realized it was the main drain pipe. He did a superb job and now both bathrooms are 100% functional. Even a bathroom sink that would back up every time I cleaned it, is now running perfectly. Thank you again, Dan, for your quick response and resolving my dilemma in a timely manner. Plus, Dan was so polite and understanding. if you want a job done right, ask for Dan.

Called The Rooter Works to provide and estimate to fix a running toilet. This is a very simple repair requiring either a new flapper, fill valve or tank seal. The technician quoted me $700 for a new tank kit, valve and supply line. All of these parts are typically less than $50 and likely were not necessary.

I called another plumber and the estimate was $145 which is about what it should be. Buyer beware if you hire The Rooter Works, they are robbing people who don't know what a certain repair should cost.

Did their online service request Monday morning for a clogged kitchen drain, with in 30 minutes they called back and stated they could come out same day for a 1-5PM window, stated they would call 45 minutes prior to coming out. At 4:00 that day received a call from them stating other jobs went longer than usual and they could re-schedule for the next day. I told them I wanted a specific time and they said we can do the 1-5PM window again. They stated since todays appointment would be cancelled I would be a ""priority"" next day. Its 4:41 PM. I called them at 4:30 and they stated they had only one drain line tech and he was behind. I told them they are supposed to call 45 minutes prior to arrival and they hadn't provided any update, no answer. Just stated someone would be at the house. I asked them if by 5 and they paused and stated, maybe ""just after 5"". Waiting to see what happens. They would not give an an estimate or range for drain cleaning, stated tech needs to do this once on site. Stated they would provide a $35.00 discount. I'll wait to see what happens and update this.

Update: at 5:30 they called and asked if I wanted the tech to still come over. I stated yes. Tech arrived around 6:10 PM. Ran the water in the kitchen sink to where it filled up, took pictures on tablet, looked under the cabinet and took pictures of the trap, asked to go to basement and said ""there's the issue"". We have PVC pipe from the bottom of the sink running to the original galvanized 6 foot drain stack. Stated this would most likely is the issue due to age and potentially the piping in the concrete. 2 years ago I called Roto-Rooter, they had a giant auger type snake. They ran that though the system and cleared it out. I mentioned this to the tech and he stated this only clears up for a couple of months. Roto-Rooter did this over 2 years ago and its just starting to get bad. I felt like the sell was on camera scoping and pipe replacement and not providing the clean out. The clean out system he used was a small hand crank device. He tried twice to clean it and did not make a dent in it. I mentioned the snake he was using wasn't the same as the other company. he gave me 3 estimates - $350 to clear drain, $575 to use camera to see issue and clear drain or $1100 to replace the 6 foot section of galvanized pipe. Tech stated he would have to come back tomorrow. I told him 3:00 would the best time.

Day 2: tech showed up at 3:30PM with a second tech. The second tech actually has the larger commercial snake auger they should have used initially. They were going to try to open the rusted clean out on the galvanized pipe but were concerned about damage, damaging the pipe or cracking it off at the basement floor. The repeated the same conversation about pipe replacement and when I told them I just wanted the drain cleared using the auger, they seemed to give me a look like I was crazy. They ended up separating the pipe at the connection and cleared the drain to water was flowing again and draining the sink correctly after about hour. They took multiple pictures of everything they were doing while they were there on the tablet. When completed I mentioned I was to get a $35 discount, he was unsure if he could process it and said worst case scenario would be for me to call the office and have them refund it that way. He was able to finally process the discount and called it a day. I did find it odd on day one the one tech wore red cloth boot covers and on day two both techs did not wear boot covers in the house. Nice enough guys but won't use or recommend this company to anyone going forward. Doesn't seem like they office is organized with status of techs.

Rooter Works overcharged about 400%, realizing I was having balance problems and am 92 years old. I had earlier been knocked unconscious and purse stolen. Rooter WorksLLC arrived instead of Roto Rooter,( which I thought I was calling, at $97.00 cost.) I got bill for $400 for ceiling pipe splice . Another $400 for clearing drain , which had been just cleaned by shower installer, but wasn't fully cleared. Rooter Works had that cleaned in less than a half hour with a hand held tool. I signed bill in confusion, but realized next morning what I had done and tried to correct it, but didn't reach them.

We are new homeowners who have had to make use of the Rooter Works services multiple times. The technicians here know what they are doing, they are friendly and polite, and amazingly helpful. I recently had Robert and his partner come by and resolve a plumbing issue for us after a new toilet install and he resolved the issue for us right away. With professionals like him on the staff, we will continue to use this service to suit our needs. Big thanks to you guys!

Ill make it simple I had a leak that was caused from them and they told me they would have to cut the ceiling out to fix the leak but because it was there fault that there insurance would cover the repairs by the way I was talking to one of there managers the whole time that's who told me this stuff. Long story short because I was a fool to trust them and not record everything they now claim they made no such statements and don't have documents of it and now I have to pay for all the repairs that they caused to my ceiling and wall. Don't waste your time from theses people. Also I have gave this company over 10k in plumbing repairs and they still did this to me. Satisfaction Guaranteed,Customer Focused direct from site what a joke.

warning this company price gouges you and then threaten you and put leans on property. We asked for a quote, they gave us a quote that they said would be about a day to day and a half to fi a main water leak. they quoted $5500.00 they show up, One guy with a small back hole. he started and dug down about 2 1/2 feet and found the leak. A second guy shows up then. and finishes removing to expose the leak and they put a splicer in it and covered it up. tota time about 2 1/2 hrs and they were done. The company Rooter works WILL NOT reduce the price !! so we had to put a $2500 deposit down before it was started, they was more that enough to pay for the work. we even offered another $200 . they said no and they tried to contact tenants in the park to pay the difference, They said no. the hole was 3 ft by 5 ft and about 2 1/2 ft deep for $5500. no way So be warned about this Company

1. Water leaking under our floor in utility room and thought it was hvac but was told by tech it was not. So we called this company to detect the leak and repair (we have a slab home no basement). When I called -the secretary answered and I said I needed leak detection and she said our company does not do leak detection I said well your website says that's what you guys do you detect leaks and repair. She said let me check with my supervisor she came back on the phone and said I'm sorry we do do leak detection and will send somebody out between the hours of 8 and 12 the next day. At 11 AM the next day no one had arrived and no one called so I called to see where the technician was and they said they are repairing a sewer line as soon as they are finished they will be on their way. By 2PM no one had called or shown up so I called again they said you're next in line and we will call you when he's on his way at 2:50 they called and said Sal is on his way and should be there soon. At 4:15 sal arrives. He was coming from a place 30 minutes away??? I proceeded to tell him the problem and show him where the water is leaking and the first thing he says to me is I am going to knock out the drywall behind your washer and dryer I said you're most certainly not going to do that I said I thought you guys had equipment to detect exactly where the leaking pipe is located he said ""I am going to run some tests and tell you -I saw no equipment I saw him do nothing then he went out to his van he came back in and went into the closet behind the washer and dryer felt the carpet and said this is where your leak is coming from I'm going to jackhammer the concrete and will find the pipe that is broken. I'm thinking to myself I guess he knows what he's talking about he's a plumber and sees this all the time even though he didn't do any leak detection with any equipment. I called the insurance company and got the OK but they said do not start the repair until an actual insurance adjuster comes out and looks at the damage. This was a Thursday, the adjuster was not coming out until Friday so I told Sal we will start the repairs on Monday. I then was going to proceed to pay him for the diagnostic he couldn't get his iPad to work he couldn't take the payment so I ended up having to talk to somebody on the phone. Fast forward to Monday. The office called at 8:30 in the morning stating Sal will be out within the hour at 9:35 the office calls and says Sal has been in a fender bender as soon as we get another technician we'll send them to your house around 11 o'clock another technician finally shows up (dennis) I tell him what happened with Sal on Thursday and what he was going to do and Dennis said ""did you actually have a leak detection company come out and pinpoint the leak"" I said you have got to be kidding me I said I thought that's what your company did last week. Even tho Sal had no testing equipment which I thought was odd but I'm not a plumber. I told Dennis that when I originally called to set up the appointment the secretary told me that the company did not do leak detection but when she asked the supervisor he said yes they did. Dennis then said what they should've told you was our office in Columbus does leak detection but our office in Cleveland does not. Dennis went on to say that he is not going to jackhammer any of the concrete anywhere because he does not know where any of the pipes are located and then he went on to say that Sal was actually not in a fender bender rather he was fired and that is why he did not show up this morning. The amount of hassle headache and negligence (except for Dennis) this company had given us is beyond reproach. If I wasn't so exasperated I would sue for negligence. By the fate of the gods thank goodness this company didn't send Sal out to jackhammer our home and cause even worse damage. Thank goodness for honest people like Dennis who talked to me extensively to calm me down. I can't recommend them

I called around 11, my garbage disposal had a nasty leak because the seals had broken and it needed to be replaced. They had Jim to my house around 130 and my new disposal was installed by 3. I thought the quote initially sounded a little high but ran comps using a website. The Rooter Work's quote actually came in on the low end for the replacement at least in my area. Jim was efficient, pleasant and clearly knowledgeable. He took time to answer our questions about the best ways to clean disposals. Overall, this was the best plumber experience I've had in a very long time. Thanks Rooter Works!!!
