Mitch was great! Very honest, knowledgeable, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. He was thorough and efficient. He got my water heater running back to normal within an hour and didn't deviate from the quote he gave me. Straight forward pricing and even better service!

I am writing this review less than a half an hour after Mitch just left. I have only written a few reviews, but feel compelled to promote the business of someone I had such a positive experience with.
tl:dr - Inexpensive, comprehesive, informative, friendly, quick, thorough service for my tankless water heater. I will definitely be calling him for my tankless unit needs.
Full Review -
Two years ago, We purchased a house that has a Rinnai tankless water heater. Since it was already installed when we moved in, I wasn't sure when or if it had been serviced/descaled. I figured I would get it serviced and get an idea of the state of things. I went to the Rinnai website to look for authorized servicers in the area and started down the list inquiring on prices.
The first was a larger plumbing company whose dispatcher had to look into whether they even provided service to tankless units (which was definitely concerning as I found them on the Rinnai site) and their price was pretty expensive (especially if annual service was going to be needed). I kept going down the list with varying prices but nothing that felt reasonable for general maintenance when there wasn't even an issue with the unit.
When I got to the 4th or 5th listing The Right Guys Plumbing I was expecting a similar price but he quoted me at HALF the price of some of the other listings and said he almost exclusively works on tankless water heaters. He was also available to come out the very next morning. While on the phone I quickly went to yelp to confirm and saw a) all positive reviews b) clear indication that working on tankless heaters was his expertise. I scheduled the appointment for 10 am the next day.
When Mitch came out he had a smile and was incredibly friendly. He came in setup the pump and started the descaling process (which took about a half an hour). I was curious about how that process worked, what he did during the service, and how to know in the future if things need to be serviced. He proceeded to explain to me about how the units work and general way to know when they need to be cleaned etc. He also did a quick water hardness test to help me better determine how frequent servicing may be necessary (probably only every 2-3 years in my case). It was clear to me and I appreciated his time.
While he was working he noticed that I had a flex pipe for the gas that was smaller than the rated minimums (the pipe had the tag with the ratings on it, so I could easily confirm what he said). He said he had the means to test it and he also had the pipe to replace it. When he brought in the device and tested, it turns out it did maintain the minimum ratings required so he said no replacement was necessary. I appreciate that he noticed a possible issue and then had no interest in trying to upsell me on something that wasn't necessary.
During the descaling we also talked about our cats and our new baby etc. He was very pleasant to talk to.
All in all, Mitch provided excellent service with clear explanations and awesome pricing. I plan to have our unit serviced by him for as long as he is willing and always appreciate people that are great at what they do and great people to boot.
Thank you Mitch!

Simply Put... the BEST of the BEST. In a sea of flaky no show do it half a$$ trade-people, Mitch is a cut above. He was always on time or early. His pricing is fair and competitive. His workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. He is polite and knowledgeable. He leaves the space tidy and cared for as if it is his own home. He's fast, thorough and efficient. You really can't ask for more!++
He is my official go to. You can't go wrong hiring Mitch to address all of your plumbing needs.

Mitch was very thorough with his work. So thorough that he found some painter's clothe/paper that the contractors left in the tankless heater pipes. He solved the issue quickly and the machine works flawlessly. Thank you, Mitch!

Water heater is rarely going down. But, if it is down, it is hard to find an honest person to repair it for you. Most of the time, the license plumper tries to talk you into replacement the water heater. Not with Right Guys Plumbing, especially, with Mitch.
We had problem with the water heater at one of our rental in Elk Grove. There is no hot water at the house. Tenant put a lot of pressure on landlord to fix it. I called and talked to Mitch. Despite of his busy schedule, Mitch did his best to stop by the house to inspect it. He knew what the problems are and fixed it for us in the same day. Not only he did an excellent job in fixing it. He also took the time to explain to me what was wrong. He also helped us to make sure the water heater is up to code: the unit needs to sit on combustible subsurface (plywood, wood, or plastic drip pan). Absolutely, it can't be placed on metal stand, metal drip plan, drywall or covered stand).
Overall, our experience with Mitch service is perfect. I strongly recommend Right Guys Plumbing.

If you have an issue with a tankless water heater, look no further! My tankless went out on a Friday. After a weekend of cold showers and futile attempts by other plumbers to find a fix, the Right Guys Plumbing brought the right guy! He obviously knew just where and how look to for the problem. When found he fixed it, cleaned the unit and charged just for the small part other plumbers couldn't even tell was the problem.
Happy to make this recommendation as I was having my hot water restored!

We highly recommend Right Guys Plumbing (and Mitch). He was able to schedule us on very short notice to get our leaking old storage hot water heater replaced. We were thinking about upgrading to a tankless water heater, but weren't sure we'd be able to find an expert given we didn't have a lot of time to shop around. It was obvious after a few minutes discussion that Mitch really knew tankless water heaters inside out, and would do a great job without taking shortcuts we would regret later. He did an excellent job, and we're now enjoying hot showers again!

My story is a long one, but the short version for this review is that Mitch is wonderful. This is my first review on Yelp and I'm only doing it to share how great Right Guys Plumbing is. Mitch's determination to get to the bottom of my tankless water heater issue was so heartening after three other plumbers looked at it for five seconds and said they couldn't help me because the system wasn't showing an error code. ""Error code"" has become quite the dirty word in my household, because I've learned most ""technicians"" can only find a page in a manual based on an error code and follow instructions. That is not me being mean, that is true experience over a 5 month ordeal and observing, through my fight with the home warranty company and the manufacturer, how much our reliance on computers have stripped us of critical thinking because there's ""supposed to be an error code."" Mitch would not let it rest and spent three days at my house going through every diagnostic process he could think of. He even took the manual home for research and told me I was the weirdest case he'd ever seen. He tried everything he could with little support from the manufacturer, and even though I ended up having to replace it, I felt I was in the best hands with Mitch and he did a great job with the new install. The peace of mind I have taking a shower now cannot be measured! He is truly passionate about doing a high quality job, and took the time to explain how everything works. I even learned a little physics in the process. We parted as friends hoping to never see each other again :) :)

Such a pleasure to work with this company! Fast respond ,fast service, deliver above promise. My water heater was leaking and I have contact them. They respond promptly, gave me fair price and came right away. Now I have my new water heater installed and working already. Great company! Great service!

Another company came out and said the computer in my tankless was just about fried and was no longer manufactured. They suggested replacing the entire unit to the tune of almost $4000. Mitch from the Right Guys Plumbing fixed the unit for $320. He explained everything, great service, and a real professional. Call him first.
