Ted was very responsive, courteous, and professional. My ceiling fan just stopped working. Almost all the handyman that I contacted suggested that I replace it and gave me a quote for just installing a new fan, some as high as $350. Ted told me that he needed to do a diagnostic to pinpoint the problem first. He came as soon as the following day on a Sunday morning. He was able to pinpoint the problem and fixed it. He only charged me $100, and saved me the cost of purchasing a new fan. I'd definitely hire him again for other projects.

TRT Ted came to fix my broken pipe the same day that I first contacted him. He analyzed the problem and quickly figured out the best, most efficient and economical way to solve my plumbing issue. I showed him a few other repairs I had around the house, two plumbing and one electrical, and he fixed them all on the same visit. In addition to being skilled at home repair and maintenance, Ted is extremely personable, polite and friendly, which is important when inviting someone into your home. He wore a mask the entire time he was in my house. I recommend him wholeheartedly. It is such a relief to find a reliable person to help take care of your home. I feel truly blessed to have discovered Ted on Yelp.

I needed a window A/C installed and a TV mounted. Ted was very responsive to all of my questions prior to scheduling a time. I always ask a ton of questions when using a new company because I've had some really bad experiences.

Ted arrived at the scheduled time. He was able to mount the TV with no issue, but my window A/C was massive. Apparently, I purchased a 24000 BTU A/C in my desire to stay cool during our hot summers. Ted had to lift a very heavy A/C and did a wonderful job at installing. The only downfall which was completely my fault was that I needed a different outlet which Ted tried to do...he even went to Home Depot to get the right part, but the beast of an A/C required a dedicated circuit.

I will definitely use this company again. It's difficult to find a good handyman and I actually found a great one!

I'd definitely not recommend this guy.

The initial interaction was okay. He showed up and checked out the work on time. After checking it out, he'd said he'd check out material costs and get back with an estimate.

Instead of doing that, he texts me two days later saying he's free and if he could do the job immediately, which was fine with me. At this point, it becomes apparent he didn't check out material costs since he was out shopping for the caulk and asks for photos (despite him already coming out to check out what I needed done). Didn't seem too bad, but I was busy in a meeting and snapped them hastily. At this point I ask the cost and he says $300 -- a bit expensive but whatever.

He shows up a bit later and starts working. 2.5 hours later he informs me he's done. Job was a bit shoddy in the tiled shower, but I just wanted it caulked at this point and didn't say much. I was a bit irked also that he didn't test the caulk first to see if it matched the grout -- obviously it doesn't as seen in the pics.

At this point he says the bathtub can be used in couple hours and the standing shower could be used 8 hours.

He left behind the grey and clear caulks used in the shower which I ended up reading after he left. The clear one said an hour, but the grey caulking said don't use for 24 hours. Thought that was odd, but didn't think too much about it. Just to be safe, we waited 6 hrs before using the bathtub shower since we assumed he at least read that one correctly -- the pics show that it wasn't the case. The caulk started absorbing water and flaking off.

I ended up texting him back the next day, and he seemed a bit standoffish about this, but said he'd come back later in the week. I texted a few days later and was ghosted.

I'm going to need to re-do both at this point (3 months later) as he also caulked over old, moldy caulk in the standing shower. The new caulk already has mold/mildew seeping through. He also didn't redo all the caulk as asked.

Hung some shelves & installed a doggie door for us, which turned out to be a tougher job than we realized because of the type of door we bought. Ted was a pro & found a way to get it done. Highly recommend.

I was able to schedule an appointment with him for an estimate, for which he was on-time. He was able to start and finish the work that day. He provided valuable suggestions for the work. He completed the work very fast and his workmanship was great. My tenants and I were very happy. I will definitely use his services again.
