I hired Ricardo to do a few plumbing and electrical projects in our vacation rental and was very pleased with his service! He was thorough and responsive, and he offered some great suggestions on how to make certain improvements. I was also pleased with his integrity as he told me openly about a mistake (minor) he made when I wasn't present, which I would never have otherwise known about. He also corrected the mistake on his own time with no charge to me. I definitely plan to hire him again when I need a handyman, and highly recommend him to others.

Ricardo is the best home repair and installation person in the desert. Over the past 3 years I have had him do numerous small and medium sized electrical, mechanical and basic plumbing jobs at my home. He is quick, responsive and dedicated to doing a thorough job at all times. His prices are very reasonable.

Absolutely horrible. After scheduling him to come out a couple of days prior he arrived 30 min late but it was his TERRIBLE ATTITUDE that surprised me. I told him about my leaking kitchen sink and other small repairs and he assured me he could do them. He told me I should replace the faucet and even the disposal even though the disposal didn't appear to be leaking. He quoted me a very high estimate and and said that I could go out and buy it. He suggested I buy a high end faucet. I really needed to keep the cost down as I explained. He felt that being in Palm Desert entitled him to overcharge. I asked him about painting my walkway but he said to power wash it to plain cement. He then said ""ok next? It was all about making money and charging alot for being out in Palm Desert. He really didnt seem to want to work . This man should definitely not be in business. His arrogant attitude was disgusting!!!!!! attitude was disgusting

I chose Ricardo based on his Yelp reviews and a phone conversation I had with him where he was familiar with the overhead garage storage racks I needed installed. I purchased four Saferack garage overhead storage racks through Costco and selected Ricardo to complete the job. Ricardo arrived on time and completed the job in a professional and timely manner. I would definitely recommend Ricardo for your handyman needs.

We found Ricardo via a Google search over a year ago. We bought a house in 2015 that is almost 40 years old & needs a lot of little things fixed or changed. He has had some good advice and done really good work on a number of jobs.

The house has about 30 recessed lights in the kitchen, baths, etc. & they were all high wattage bulbs & generated a lot of heat. Ricardo suggested a replacement fixture that is an LED bulb. I bought the replacements at Loew's for $34 for two units. A full replacement of these would have cost hundreds more than the lights we bought. They look better, are not hot, & put out a nice warm light.

He is a nice guy and has a lot of local information that is useful for winter visitors or newly arrived residents.

I needed a lock replaced but where it was going, it could not be installed until the wood was cut to accommodate the new lock. I emailed Ricardo with photos of the old one and new one and asked him if this was possible. He got back to me right away and came over first thing in the morning. He not only cut the wood but installed the lock at a very fair price.
I would not hesitate to call again with any project I needed done.
