JOB: I was looking for a plumber to come in and re-route a heating pipe I discovered in a wall I was modifying to create a ""pass-through"" from the Kitchen to the Family room. I knew the pipe needed to be cut and rerouted as well as the heating system needed to be purged.

Willy showed up on time. He showed up just in time before the last plumber was leaving. They talked for 10 minutes or so... Probably to discuss the job IMO.

Willy used the term ""Magic"" quite a few times describing how the job was going to get completed. He would not quote me on the spot. He said he had to refer to his book of prices.

Willy told me he would email me a quote before the end of the day. Needless to say I received the quote that evening after I emailed him asking for it. He split the charges which I asked for. Here was his quote: (Don't even ask what is the 99.00 for the Home Care Club is for. Willy never replied when I asked him.)

I find it curious that Willy came in just under the other Plumbers quote. The other plumber quoted me $800.00.

I have used this company several times. Extremely polite, like the name says, over the phone. Unlike many contractors, they provided an exact time range for arrival and called when he was on the way.

Upon arrival, Paul scoped out the job and gave a quote. The Polite Plumber runs a lot of coupon specials which you can Google and this chopped $30 off the price. The price was a little high but the work performed is excellent quality. I would rather pay a little more for a plumber that knows what he's doing versus one that doesn't.

He identified the issue, showed it to me, then fixed it. He also replaced a kitchen faucet in a small fraction of the time it would have taken me to do it.

These are my go-to plumbers. You can't go wrong with these guys.

I was very very pleased with this company. THey answered the phone and made an appointment right away and actually showed up. I have had bad experiences with other plumbers that don't show up.
Kim was very pleasant and helpful and James came on time and was very courteous. the pricing was very fair.

Employees are great and very Polite, but their prices are a RIP OFF. I was having intermitting water problems, could not figure out what was causing the problem so they changed out the pressure switch and charge me $297 to replace. The next morning no water again. Their prices are a 'RIP OFF'. Used another service and they fixed the problem at a reasonable cost. If you like to spend a lot of money then use them, they will not see me again.

The polite plumber installed a hot water heater in my home in 2010. The unit was insufficient in that in a four year period I had to replace the heating elements 3 times costing me over $300 each time. We asked why a new hot water heater would need its elements replaced over and over again. we were given many excuses including our ground wire. We had the ground checked by an electrician who satid it was fine, but Willy (owner of polite plumer) claimed otherwise. My husband was very upset with Willy's answers to questions about why a new hot water heater would need replacement parts so many times. The last call, Willy refused to come to my home to fix a shotty product, that I had to call the manufacturer, which was still under warranty by the way, and hire another plumber to replace. In my opinion, I would never trust this company to do any work in my home.

We used polite plumber today and we were lucky to have James come fix our sink. I have to say I am impressed with the service on every level. He was on time , knowledgeable and did a great job in under an hour. We will store their number for any future plumbing needs we will need in the future.

Excellent Service. They have answering service for after hours calls, and promptly returned my call when I left a message with the after hours answering service. They provided me with next-day service (although they do offer after hours emergency service, which I did not require). They called me in the morning to give me an estimated time a service technician would arrive at my house, and even called me to let me know when the service technician was 45 minutes away. The service technician (James) was an absolute professional. He performed a professional installation of a water heater to replace the one that sprung a leak the night prior, and cleanup up the work area. James took great care making sure nothing leaked on my carpet while removing the old water heater. As an added bonus, I was given the exact cost before any work was started. I highly recommend The Polite Plumber

The Polite Plumber is fantastic. Willy came for an estimate on several issues. He calmed me down and gave me a reasonable price. The work was done on time and very neatly. I trust them with all my plumbing work. Kim, in the office, is always a joy to deal with.

NOT so polite plumber came to our house and must of not wanted to do the job for some reason and kept making excuses instead of doing the job....we never heard from him after three excuses...poor, very poor service...I agree with the guy posting before me...wish I could give zero stars!
