The request for Pocket Plunger service was for my home. The first time I used his service was on rental property, which he performed a repair on garbage disposal. The charge was $39. At the time, I have not met him until my home had garbage disposal issue. I was looking forward to meeting him for the first time. I also hoped to have a good lasting relationship with this company for future repairs on the rental property and my home. The reason I chose him was his willingness to use text as the means of communication. Not many plumbers are up to date with technology. This was my favorite thing about him.


On his first visit for an estimate, he took a look at my garbage disposal. He said that it needs to be replaced. The garbage disposal was crap. I bought it from Costco two years ago. He recommended Badger garbage disposal. I offered that I will take care of the materials because I like to buy things on my reward credit card. He only takes cash or personal check. So, he agreed to it, which it was a plus. He offered $149 dollars for his labor to replace the disposal. We negotiated it to $129 and scheduled another appointment for the repair.

I got the materials before the appointment. He showed up on time and was courteous. Unbeknownst to him, I bought power cord for the disposal because it was not included. I hid it and wanted to see how he responds to this issue. You see, it's possible to remove the power cord from the broken disposal to install on the new one. This doesn't apply to all cases, but its common. He quickly pointed out that I needed the new power cord., not even suggesting that the old dispoal's cord for the new disposal. I asked him about using the old power cord. He nodded. Ummm... This says something about his character as a plumber. I even helped him by installing the old cord to the new disposal without his request.

He replaced the disposal and reconfigured the drain pipes. On the last piece of drain pipe, the trap, it broke. I didn't have the part for the trap. He offered to close the deal by upping to $189 dollars if he goes to store to get the final part and install it. I politely declined the deal. I paid him $129 in cash, and then I went to the store to get the $5 part and installed it myself in under 2 minutes. Then it worked perfectly.

In light of this situation, I decided that he does not have professional integrity for his plumbing business. I can imagine that it's easy to take advantage of people's ignorance on plumbing, which it seems to be his business model.

Prompt, courteous, professional.

After seeing the great reviews on here, I called Antonio to see if he could fix my leaky shower. He came exactly on time, with the tools and materials he needed to do the job. And it turned out to be a difficult job. The cartridge behind my shower knob had corroded, and was very difficult to remove. But after a huge amount of effort, Antonio was able to get the old one off, and then quickly installed the new one. It was a much tougher job than anticipated, but he still stayed with his original estimate.

NOTE: Although everything I said above still holds true, I do have a complaint. My toilets had been ""running"" constantly. Antonio looked at them and said they were one piece toilets and would be very difficult to work on. He could replace them for me for $400 each. I then had someone else look at them, and for $10 and about 15 minutes of work, the flappers were replaced and the problem was fixed. So I have to amend my review, as I feel Antonio tried to sell me something I didn't need.

Antonio is the very best plumber ever! I found him on Yelp, of course. He fixed a clogged pipe in our mother's home that other plumbers could not address. He did such a great job that we called him back to fix a long term slow leak that she had with her kitchen sink plumbing. He was very through in his assessment of the problems and did not cut corners in the repair. He went the extra mile to provide the best service with a smile. He is a perfectionist in his field. We feel so blessed to have met such a skilled expert. He was very kind and fair with his fees for service. We highly recommend his professional services without hesitation.

Antonio did not go over his estimate even though the work was more than what was expected. He put in a hot water heater for me plus did some extra work cutting and rerouting some old gas lines. He is the best plumber I ever had do work for me. I'm almost 60 so I know what I'm talking about. Call him you will not be disappointed. A++

Called him at 11:30 and he was at my door at 2:15 , well within the 2-3 PM window he gave me. He fixed the problem and suggested what could be done to avoid the problem. Very reasonably priced. I highly recommend him.

Sometimes when I see this many excellent reviews , it makes me wonder, but this is the real deal. Antonio came when he said he would , diagnosed our problem , worked very hard on a steamy day to fix it & charged a reasonable rate which he quoted right after the diagnosis. Best of all his patientce , willingness to explain why the problem is happening & his friendliness inspire confidence and well being in a always stressful situation....great service , great guy!

Antonio is the best. I called him based on his glowing Yelp reviews, and he did not disappoint. I had a leak under my kitchen sink that required immediate fixing. I left him a voice mail, he called me back in minutes, and expertly fixed the problem that same afternoon. The price was very reasonable. We even chatted about our respective professions and client service philosophies. A+ service.

USE THIS PLUMBER! I called Antonio in a panic when my rental unit had plumbing issues that needed immediate attention on a Sunday. He was friendly, professional and responded immediately.

I was making arrangements long-distance as I no longer live in Sac, which I thought would complicate things. But Antonio was so helpful and cooperative and communicated with me on what the problems were and what was needed to remedy the situation. His prices were more than fair and he showed up when he said he would. My only regret is that I did not know about him a while ago when I had to have the water heater replaced as I certainly would have used him for that.

Do yourself a favor and if you need a plumber call ANTONIO!
