I just bought a house, and the atmospheric river provided a great opportunity for me to learn that my sump pumps don't work. Sunday morning, I woke up to a flooded yard and water entering my laundry room and garage. I called one plumber (who was advertising IN RICHMOND on Yelop who said they don't service Richmond, another who said there was nothing they could do until the rain stopped and they could come Monday morning. Rick called me back right away and said he'd be over in 20 minutes. He pumped out the flood, cleared my drains, and left me with his sump pump all day and overnight (I would have flooded again without it). He's been dealing with my home warranty to get them to cover the replacement pump. He's super responsive by text, which I also appreciate.

We just moved to our new home and with the giant rainstorm, we were surprised by the flooding on our yard and the water approaching our house. We were able to remove some water ourselves but couldn't keep up with the pace. After making my way through plumbers, Rick answered and said he could be at our home within 45 minutes. He arrived and did his best to help us pump out more water and when that didn't work, he made a trip to Home Depot for supplies to fix our drains. He was friendly and it was obvious he really wanted to help us. Would call him again!

My electric stove wasn't working and it was saying ""bad line"", so we called Rick and asked if he does electrical and he said yes. He came to my house and looked what was wrong and showed me that one part of the outlet was burnt, so he went and got us a new one and did his job correctly, I am satisfied with what he did. My electric stove is working like it used to.

Rick arrived promptly and was a true pro. He properly located the source of water leak coming from a faulty upstairs shower. He put his hard hat on and got to work immediately to do what he could to prevent further damage to our downstairs bedroom and other adjacent rooms. I made a pre-dawn call to Rick to request same-day service for a clogged garbage disposal, which prevented me from using my sink and dishwasher. Rick got back to me within 10 minutes to confirm an appointment time that worked with my schedule. He was professional and efficient and fixed the issues I knew about, plus a leak I didn't. His pricing was also very fair given the amount of time and labor spent (on very short notice). Would not hesitate to recommend his services.

I was so impressed by Rick's response time and professionalism He was an excellent communicator and kept me in the loop throughout the process. I live in Seattle and the home is in Concord. He was great about calling, texting and sending pictures to back up all that he was doing to the bathroom. He fixed the issues and pricing was very fair and competitive.

It's difficult to find an outstanding plumber, one that you can trust, especially when I wasn't onsite to have the conversation with him. I would not hesitate to call him again. I'm a business owner here in Seattle and I'm often hesitant to offer referrals to friends or family because I also put my reputation on the line if it doesn't work out. But I have no qualms about referring anyone to Rick.
In fact, because he is willing to travel down to the San Jose area, I just referred him to my mom & dad.

I'm grateful I now have someone I can trust with my out of state real estate.

Don't use this service. Crazy overpriced and did not give quite up front after diagnosing the issue. Charged 1600 for labor because he brought in 4 guys to do the job of 1, maybe 2, at least some of which was spent going to fetch materials. On top of that charged 700 for materials without providing receipts.

Very very bad experience for building customer trust. In the end the problem was fixed to my satisfaction but will not use again. Would also actively discourage others from engaging Rick's services because he was not transparent about his pricing.

Just wanted to update and say another person contacted me to say they received similar treatment from Rick. Don't not use this service

Rick was great. Woke up on a
Saturday morning to find my kitchen flooded; called Rick and he was at my place in half an hour. He gave me an assessment and good explanation of the root cause, including going into my crawl space under the house to check the pipes. He had his whole team out later that afternoon (he had another job to get to first), and they had not only more logically reconfigured a complicated system done by the previous owner (thus fixing the leak), but also installed a water pressure gauge...all in about two hours. He did not charge ""weekend/emergency"" rates (as far as I could tell); I think I paid a fair price for the work. As of this posting, I definitely plan to call him again if I need plumbing work.
