I had called a larger plumbing company about my toilets, they said I needed to replace them both for a large price (you could tell they were working for commission). I called The Plumbing Guy, the plumber was on time, very professional, knowledgeable and honest! He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need which is refreshing. He rebuilt the tank on one and replaced some parts on the other for a fair price. Before he left he verified no leaks and that they were working properly. They both have been flushing perfectly ever since! Thank you so much!

I called The Plumbing Guy after reading a few good recommendations on my homeowner association website. Dale came promptly, and very efficiently fixed a disposal that had been installed incorrectly by a previous plumber and a new toilet in a secondary bathroom. When he popped the old toilet out, he noticed a lot of leaking which caused brown slimy residue on the tile underneath the toilet. He asked me for cleaning supplies so he could clean it up--"something with bleach", he said. Wow! I've never had a plumber clean up a mess before. Prices were probably higher than I would normally pay but given that I've paid plumbers in the past to install basic items (like disposals) and not been happy with the results, I've decided to pay a little more to ensure a good result. I would definitely recommend them.

I called this morning at 8:20. I never got a call back. I called again at 10:15; they didn't mention they even knew that I had left a detailed message. I explained my various plumbing problems to the woman on the phone and she said "well the estimate is not going to be free" (they advertise free estimates, so what's that about!?). She advised there is an automatic $125 service charge. I said thanks, but no thanks. FALSE ADVERTISING. I'm disappointed bc of all of the great reviews, but they first got a strike against them for not returning my call and now this. I won't use.

We had a kitchen sink with clogged and leaking pipes. Even though they were very busy, Shelly was able to get Paul out to us ahead of schedule! Fast, efficient, and courteous. He found the clog (grease way down the line), he removed and replaced the corroded and damaged pipes, cleaned up thoroughly when he was done, and made sure everything worked smoothly before he left. His fee was fair and square and worth every penny.

With all these stellar review, I am worried that Paul, the plumbing guy, will be too busy to tend to our needs. He worked on our house nearly 7 years ago when we were building it. He was an employee of another company. We liked his work and his work ethic. When he went out on his own, we continued to use him. He didn't even own a truck. Last time he was here he had 2 vans and people working for him. This is a mom & pop business not one of the large international plumbing businesses whose servicemen work at least partly on commission. Their goal is to sell the home owner the most expensive parts and repairs. Not Paul. He and his wife Shelly run an honest service oriented business. We have 12 bathrooms so we are in need of a plumber from time to time. Many of them decide to charge extra b/c of the size of our house. Paul does not do that.

Called The Plumbing Guy because of a very bad intermittent ceiling leak we were having in our kitchen. One time the leak was a real gusher coming from the kitchen ceiling and another time several weeks later it was leaking, but there was much less water this time. Tried several difference plumbers (recommended on Yelp), and they told me that the tub and shower in the bathroom from which the leak seemed to be coming was not the problem, but didn't have any ideas what the problem could be. Had a roofer out, who said the roof was not the problem.

It was Paul, The Plumbing guy, who persevered to find the source of the problem: the AC was draining the wrong way and going outside and pouring down the side of my house and then into the kitchen. Others literally told me everything was fine (REALLY? I watched the water pour down my walls and onto my wood floors) but Paul persevered to find the source of the problem (even though it wasn't a plumbing problem), was all over the outside and inside of my house and took the time to explain everything thoroughly and show me what the problem was. He was so enthusiastic about my understanding that he also explained it to my houseguests, who enjoyed the tutorial.

Paul was here quite a while (several hours I think) and I thought his prices were very reasonable. So impressed by him, I have him lined up to rerun the exterior gas lines for an outdoor project we're doing and also to do a remodel of my master bath.

Best plumber. Paul and Shelly are so professional and honest. Paul is extremely knowledgable and has always taken the time to explain to me in detail what the issue is. He really loves what he does and really likes his customers to know what is going on, too. The company is very responsive to their customers (my friends use them, too) and their prices are very fair. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Disclaimer: Since I live almost in Pearland they did not do the work but their Customer Service was so awesome I had to write a review.

Called and within three rings Shelly answered the phone. She was pleasant and asked all the relevant questions. But, alas, I live too far out for them to help me. However Shelly took a step that she didn't have to take. She took her time and found a company out my way for me to call! Now when was the last time anyone saw a company do that!

Sigh... just called Epic Services the company recommended and they can't come out today! I guess I'll have to pee in a bucket tonight. LOL

I have used several plumbers over the years, but a few years ago I found "The Plumbing Guy" to be the best. Paul and Shelley Weitz own the business. They are honest and extremely hardworking. They work really hard to make their satisfy their customers and accommodate their schedules. Paul came out a few days ago to do some work on our house. Strangely enough this morning the hot water went out while I was taking a shower. I thought maybe we had used up the hot water, but this evening when I came back home it still wasn't working. I called and left a message for them at 7:30 PM - nothing urgent, but just saying it was something I'd like to get an appointment for. Shelley called me back within a few minutes and Paul was here at 8:30 PM to check on it. Fortunately it was only a pilot light that went out, and he didn't even charge me for it! I feel bad that he had to come out so late at night when he could be at home resting and tucking in his kids. But, they said that is how their business has been lately.
