I called The plumbing department to see if they could replace my garbage disposal. I described how it made a humming sound and then refused to work. I figured I'd be buying a new disposal and be out at least $700. NOPE. He walked me through what to do over the phone, and my disposal started to work again! I have used them before to replace faucets etc and have been pleased, and now I couldn't be any happier! THANK YOU THANK YOU!

In February, we used this company to replace a hot water heater. Their pricing was very competitive, customer service attentive and response time very reasonable. We are in the process of selling our condo and yesterday the buyer had their inspection. During the inspection they noticed a small draining issue from my air conditioner that is unrelated to the recently replaced hot water heater. I called The Plumbing Department immediately, explained the situation and they had Al over to my unit within 90 minutes. Shortly thereafter the owner, Jeff, called me and explained the issue and the course of action. As planned, the issue was fixed by the following morning (a Saturday morning over Memorial Day weekend, nonetheless) by Jeff himself. I will certainly use The Plumbing Department again because their customer service is excellent from the top down. They are exceptionally reliable and Jeff takes great pride behind his work.

The Plumbing Dept deserves more than 5 stars! I had an issue with my hot water tank. I spoke with Jeff and was able to set up an appointment the next day. He was polite, professional, and honest. Price was very reasonable. Jeff even gave tips on how to maintain the hot water tank to keep it running smoothly and prevent similar issues from happening again.

My water bill was going crazy because of a leak, my bill doubled. The first plumber that came over told me that I need to replace the waterline in the basement with copper to the tune of $3,500.00!
I called the Plumbing Department and the worker told me it was the second floor toilet that was running! I bought a new toilet and had TPD put it in (comes with a one year warranty! I was so happy not to be taken advantage of! They are the best!

Found The Plumbing Dept on Angies List after my regular plumbers told me I would have to wait several days (over the New Years weekend) before they could send someone to look at a leaking toilet. Jose came out the next day (on time), diagnosed the problem right away (leaking gasket), quoted the price, and got to work. He not only did a fine job with the repair, he also discovered an icy buildup in the copper pipe that led from the toilet (due to icy cold weather and poorly heated common area in condo building where pipe led) and had to clear that with many many pots of hot water, and then, on top of everything, he noticed that my flapper was pretty worn out so he replaced that!! No extra charge. The Plumbing Department will be my first call from now on.

We have an old house with complicated plumbing and have now worked with Jeff and his crew several times since our initial emergency water heater replacement. Antique sink clogs, shower clogs, ancient toilet fixes, sewer video, sewer jetting, catch basin inspections - you name it, this guy is amazing. These guys are great from start to finish. They were super quick to respond and schedule. They installed the part I bought online and charged me less than the quote because they got it done so quickly. And when the cheap part I bought online failed after the first day, they found a replacement part locally, and installed it for free!!! This is the second time I've used them, and they're great to work with.

These guys really stepped up and helped me out for an emergency call. I woke up to a complete disaster in my kitchen with water everywhere. I called them up and they were at my door before I knew it. Everyone was very pleasant and they went out of their way to get to me as quickly as possible. Jeff not only explained what the problem was and how to fix it but he also gave me options as far as maintenance on my kitchen line. All in all, I came away from the experience extremely satisfied and with a much better understanding of the plumbing system in my home. Jeff took the time to address and answer all of my questions as one can imagine you would have plenty if you woke up to a kitchen floor immersed in water. There were other signs of professionalism that were much appreciated. Jeff wore shoe coverings upon entering the home and the office staff followed up with a courtesy phone call later that day. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use their services again.

After a very frigid Sunday night, we found that we had no hot water on Monday morning. Turns out, the water froze in the tankless water heater and busted the pipes. I called The Plumbing Department and after explaining what happened, Danielle set me up with an appointment for Tuesday morning and promised that Jeff would call me back. Jeff called back and after listening to my story, he explained that my only option would be to replace the broken the system, which did not come as a total shock. Jeff took the time to answer my questions and give me a estimate.

Jose and Al called about 20 minutes before arriving Tuesday morning as promised. Both were very polite, friendly, clean, and neat. Even though there were a couple tricky parts to the installation, I did not pay more than what Jeff and I agreed on. After the job was complete, Jose took the time to show me how the system worked, explained all the hook ups, and answered all my questions.

I will definitely use the Plumbing Department for all my plumbing needs.

They are great. Very good follow-up from getting a quote to the work. Very neat, on time, and work is solid. So many others out there, it's nice to have someone who is honest and dependable. Would HIGHLY recommend. If and when we need additional plumbing services we are calling Jeff.
