These guys are great from start to finish. They were super quick to respond and schedule. They installed the part I bought online and charged me less than the quote because they got it done so quickly. And when the cheap part I bought online failed after the first day, they found a replacement part locally, and installed it for free!!! This is the second time I've used them, and they're great to work with.

These guys really stepped up and helped me out for an emergency call. I woke up to a complete disaster in my kitchen with water everywhere. I called them up and they were at my door before I knew it. Everyone was very pleasant and they went out of their way to get to me as quickly as possible. Jeff not only explained what the problem was and how to fix it but he also gave me options as far as maintenance on my kitchen line. All in all, I came away from the experience extremely satisfied and with a much better understanding of the plumbing system in my home. Jeff took the time to address and answer all of my questions as one can imagine you would have plenty if you woke up to a kitchen floor immersed in water. There were other signs of professionalism that were much appreciated. Jeff wore shoe coverings upon entering the home and the office staff followed up with a courtesy phone call later that day. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use their services again.

After a very frigid Sunday night, we found that we had no hot water on Monday morning. Turns out, the water froze in the tankless water heater and busted the pipes. I called The Plumbing Department and after explaining what happened, Danielle set me up with an appointment for Tuesday morning and promised that Jeff would call me back. Jeff called back and after listening to my story, he explained that my only option would be to replace the broken the system, which did not come as a total shock. Jeff took the time to answer my questions and give me a estimate.

Jose and Al called about 20 minutes before arriving Tuesday morning as promised. Both were very polite, friendly, clean, and neat. Even though there were a couple tricky parts to the installation, I did not pay more than what Jeff and I agreed on. After the job was complete, Jose took the time to show me how the system worked, explained all the hook ups, and answered all my questions.

I will definitely use the Plumbing Department for all my plumbing needs.

They are great. Very good follow-up from getting a quote to the work. Very neat, on time, and work is solid. So many others out there, it's nice to have someone who is honest and dependable. Would HIGHLY recommend. If and when we need additional plumbing services we are calling Jeff.

Imagine getting home after 8 hours on the road and a 2 day camping trip...only to discover you have no running water. Then finding out it would take 1-4 business days before the city sent someone to turn it back on. Who realistically could go a day much less a weekend without running water?? Getting help on such short notice turned out to be much easier than expected thanks to the Plumbing Department. Explaining our situation over the phone was quick and painless and the receptionist immediately went to work trying to schedule something with a technician. She even followed up with us throughout the day to give updates. So considerate and professional. Jeff, who probably worked all day and was still eager to help us, showed up as promised that evening to turn on our water! Talk about a hero. This is everything a company should be. Thanks guys for being there for us!!

Responsive and conscientious!! I called Jeff after a copper pipe in my two flat building had been punctured by a screw. I needed it fixed immediately and had called several other places before calling The Plumbing Department. Jeff showed up when he said he would and did a fantastic job fixing the problem. The water was back on in my building in no time! This was by far and away the best service I have ever received from a trade company in Chicago. If your looking for professionalism and a job well done...when you need it done... Call them.

Definitely the only plumber we will use. After purchasing an older home in June, we have had one plumbing issue after another. Another local company seemed nice enough, but just ""got the job done' and within a few weeks, the issue was back. After having two failed attempts, we called The Plumbing Department (on two separate items worked on previously by another company). Jeff and his crew were prompt, courteous and did a great job. They gave options and did it the right way. I appreciate the job being done right, so I don't have to deal with it again in a few weeks. Lesson learned and now we will only use The Plumbing Department. Thanks Guys!

I can't say enough about the awesome service I received from Jeff. He happened to be at my neighbors house, and I desperately needed a plumber. I called the number on his truck parked on the street, and he made time to stop by my house. He fixed my problem confidently. He was polite, and professional. Hands down the best plumber Ive ever used.
Prompt, professional, and most importantly great at what they do.
I had a some major renovations done in my home, and the general contractor's plumber cut some corners and did a shoddy job.
Jeff and his crew came in and saved the say.
This wasn't the first time using The Plumbing Dept, and it will surely not be the last.
