The Plumbinator
Company Overview
The Plumbinator LLC is a top-notch plumbing contractor. Our specialty lies in locating and fixing water leaks, even in complex situations such as slab, yard, and wall/ceiling leaks. We are proficient in sewer leak detection and repair, ensuring the integrity of your plumbing system. We are experts in cast iron pipe repair and replacement, using advanced tunneling methods for minimal disruption. Additionally, we are skilled in Kitec pipe spot/section repair and provide complete replacement services. Clients benefit from our knowledge of both regular and tankless water heaters, ensuring a complete plumbing solution.
As a family-owned business, we prioritize traditional service and customer care. Prior to starting The Plumbinator LLC, I was employed by a major plumbing company and was disheartened by how they treated their clients. They exploited individuals in need, leaving them without water or a working toilet. We pride ourselves on being moral and ethical, treating our customers with the respect they deserve as friends and neighbors. We stand with our LGBTQIA+ customers, providing a safe and expert plumbing experience in their homes. Our pricing is fair, and you can trust us not to charge for unnecessary services.
Contact us and let us handle your plumbing issues. I am a Master Plumber with 25 years of experience in installing plumbing in new homes and repairing plumbing in older properties. This unique combination of experience is rare in the plumbing industry. I visualize plumbing systems in three dimensions, allowing me to diagnose issues effectively. When other plumbers struggle to locate your mystery leak, they call me to find it quickly and fix it properly. Considering a tankless heater? I’ll provide a free assessment to determine if you need one and how much it will cost.
By choosing to support local, family-owned, woman-owned businesses, my sons and I will treat you like a friend and neighbor, helping you get back to normal quickly and affordably.
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you soon! Mickey, your local plumbing expert

I needed a faucet cartridge replaced in my bathroom and they were going to charge me $250 plus parts to do it and offered to do my other bathroom for another $250 (This is a $20 part and takes about 20 minutes to replace!). Then the plumber said he couldn't remove the cartridge so he'd need to cut into the wall and give me a whole new valve (no telling what that would cost). I ended the appointment there.
I finally heard back from another plumber I use often at work (Biggs Plumbing) and their man came out and replaced both cartridges without having to cut into the wall (because he's been around a while and knows the tricks of the trade) and did it for a total of $228. Approximately $1000 vs $230.

Mickey is friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Our home had a leak in the slab and Mickey was able to locate it fast. He was able to isolate and bypass the leak without tearing up our foundation. The final cost was less than what my wife and I were expecting. Mickey is an " all around good guy".

Fast, friendly and reasonable. I've called twice with two different instances and both have been resolved very quickly.

We realized we had a leak after we burned through 30,000 gallons in a month with no obvious signs of a leak. Mickey was the third plumber we called out, the first two wanted to dig holes in the yard on an exploration mission. Mickey and Chad went to work right away isolating various portions of our plumbing system. In no time they found the location and had it replaced. They proactively changed a few of our valves and hosebibs to make sure we wouldn't run into issues in the future. They even cleaned up after themselves. I thought the price was more than fair and the honesty and work ethic along the way were appreciated.

These guys are outstanding! They arrived quickly, and on time, and even let me know all my repair options. I recommend them highly.

I had a slab leak in a house I purchased in Round Rock. I had to find the leak and get it stopped and repaired and had two plumbing companies out via the home warranty service. Neither could pinpoint the leak. When I called Mickey's office, they sent him out and he fixed the problem without jackhammering the floor. He was, I believe, honest and reasonable. Thanks for a great job!

Mickey and his team did a great job for me and my wife on a property we purchased in central Austin. A pre-purchase inspection revealed that the main waste water line from the house to the connection in the yard had to be replaced. Some incoming water and gas lines under the house (pier and beam) needed to be properly strapped down and a new waste water line run for the kitchen sink and the washing machine. We got three quotes and Plumbinator was the best (about $3,000 cheaper than the highest quote).
Mickey's team consists of family members, including Corey, Tim, Nigel and Wolfgang. All of the young men were friendly, respectful and well informed on plumbing issues. They also worked hard. Mickey himself will tell you as much as you want to know about the work to be done, how it is to be done, and why. He takes pride in being a man of his word and believes in doing things properly. He will not cut corners or try to evade city plumbing codes or requirements.
He explained clearly the work to be done and told me up front that they would have to knock a couple of holes in some sheet rock to install new pipes and that I would be responsible for getting the sheet rock repaired. We also had them re-position a toilet (turn it 90 degrees and move the pipe over a few inches). The toilet got damaged in the process but Mickey replaced it with a better one at no cost to me. He also actually re-re-positioned the toilet after my wife and I decided that we wanted it "just a little bit to the left." No complaints, no remarks, no big upcharge.
We plan to add a bathroom to that house within a year and Mickey and his team will be the guys we call to do the plumbing work for that and for work we plan to have done on our personal home. I found these guys to be honest, hard working and dependable and will recommend them to anyone.

We had a major problem. Our guest toilet drain was damaged due to settling clay soil and/or tree roots. They ran a camera down the line to show me the damage, and told me the bad news. The plan was to dig a tunnel under the slab to get to the break, fix it, and fill in the tunnel. They did an amazing job. It took about 10 days to do the entire job, but now that it's finished, I'm very happy with how detail-oriented they were. It was very hard work to dig a tunnel 20-25 feet under the house, but they took turns digging, and even seemed to be in good spirits as they worked. This is a family business. Dad Mickey came by to check on the job before it started, and his sons and Steve are both knowledgeable and hard workers. I'd never use anyone else.

Woke up to a flooded kitchen floor. Our regular plumber determined that it was a leak under the slab and gave us the Pluminator's phone number. Mickey found the leak with his listening device and capped it - then ran an alternate insulated line through the ceiling- all the while doing only minor damage to the house and restoring full service. We were very pleased with his service.

We had a leak develope in our outside faucet Thursday night. We had the utilities company come out and turn the water off. Friday morning we gave these guys a call at first they were not sure they could make it (no surprise since everyone else was booked till Monday. After I explained what was going on she took another look and said they would be out between 10 and 10:30. They were on time and the kid explained to me that it would be a flat fee of 500.00 unless they had to dig into the foundation. The found the leak and they did have to go into the foundation just a bit so the final bill was 800.00. Very pleased with their professionalism, timely arrival and clean up. Will hire them next time I need a plumber for sure
