The Plumbinator
Company Overview
The Plumbinator LLC is a highly-rated plumbing contractor. We excel in detecting and repairing water leaks, including difficult scenarios like slab, yard, and wall/ceiling leaks. We are proficient in sewer leak detection and repair, maintaining the integrity of your plumbing system. Our expertise includes cast iron pipe repair and replacement, employing state-of-the-art tunneling techniques to minimize disruption. Additionally, we are skilled in Kitec pipe spot/section repair and provide complete replacement services. Clients benefit from our knowledge of both regular and tankless water heaters, ensuring a complete plumbing solution.
We are a family-run business that values traditional service and customer care. Prior to starting The Plumbinator LLC, I was employed by a major plumbing company and was disheartened by how they treated their clients. They took advantage of people in distress, leaving them without water or a functioning toilet. We pride ourselves on being moral and ethical, treating our customers with the respect they deserve as friends and neighbors. We support our LGBTQIA+ customers, offering a safe and expert plumbing experience in their residences. We offer fair pricing, and you can rely on us not to charge for services you don’t need.
Give us a call and let us take care of your plumbing problems. I am a Master Plumber with 25 years of experience in installing plumbing in new homes and repairing plumbing in older properties. This unique combination of experience is rare in the plumbing industry. I visualize plumbing systems in three dimensions, allowing me to diagnose issues effectively. When other plumbers struggle to locate your mystery leak, they call me to find it quickly and fix it properly. Thinking about a tankless heater? I’ll give you a free evaluation to see if you need one and what the cost will be.
Vote with your dollars to back local, family-owned, woman-owned businesses, and my sons and I will treat you as a friend and neighbor, assisting you in getting back to normal swiftly and economically.
Thank you, and we hope to see you soon! Mickey, your local plumbing expert

The Plumbinator fixed what Mustang plumbing couldn't.
Home Warranty of America sent out Mustang plumbing and they couldn't clear the clog.
I called the Plumbinator and within 2 hours of being on site of my home the clog was clear and they also ensured the second clean out line was clean and clear as well.
Price charged for the services was fair and reasonable. The 2 plumbers sent out by the Plumbinator were very friendly and provided great tips for products to use in having a older home with cast iron pipes.

It's been about a year since the Plumbinators worked on our shower drain, but I intentionally waited to review, because I couldn't believe they actually fixed the problem.
Our shower drain used to clog up every couple of months. My husband would use a little hand snake to dig around until the drain started working again. This continued for years, until I finally thought this was not normal shower drain behavior, and perhaps a professional could diagnose and solve the problem. I was imagining an experienced plumber with a fancy camera or a robot or some other expensive tool that could finally get to the root of our problem, no matter the cost.
So I was a little surprised when two young guys showed up at my door. And even more surprised when they plugged in an electric snake and shoved it down the shower drain. Five minutes later, the drain was working, and they were done. I paid them about $120, which I felt was entirely too much money for these two youngsters to come and do the same thing my husband had been doing for months, albeit with a slightly larger snake. And I was 99% sure I'd be calling them out to fix the drain again in a matter of weeks.
But here we are, a year later, and the drain has stayed clear. I don't even know where our hand snake is anymore; we haven't needed to use it since the Plumbinators came out. I think it was money well-spent. Goodness knows how much more expensive it might have been if they had actually used all the high-tech gadgets I had imagined. Sometimes brute force and a professional-sized tool are all you need.
My only real complaint was that the Plumbinators showed up at my house several hours earlier than their scheduled appointment. Being a little bit early is great, but being that early can be an inconvenience on par with being really late.

Timely and affordable. Did a great job solving a mysterious leak from my second floor condo to my downstairs neighbor's unit. The final price was $30 less than the 'ballpark' estimate quoted to me on the phone. I'll definitely call them again if I have any plumbing needs.

I was quite pleased with the Plumbinator. I live out of state and have a rental home in Round Rock. My tenants were concerned with a water spot on their ceiling....I was concerned with a possible leaky pipe somewhere between the 1st and 2nd floors. The guys at Plumbinator called me and said there is no leak, it's only a faulty shower door!! They even offered to refer me to someone that can replace the door for me. I am happy that I found an honest company. I will call them for any future issues I have.

Great prices and great work. I needed some plumbing work done and didn't know who to hire so I Googled plumbing reviews. Plumbinator came up with lots of 5 star reviews so I took a chance and was glad that I did.
Mickey came out and gave me an estimate and explained what the cost might be. My toilet wobbled and without pulling it up he said it was a broken flange. He explained that if the pipe was lead the cost would be $$$, if the pipe was cast iron the price would be $$$.
I'm very happy with the work he did and would definitely use him again.

Seriously, call these guys. They were MORE than fair to us.
I've only owned a house for a little over two years and had no idea who to call when the water heater went out. Even my friends who owned houses had never had to call a plumber. So, of course I got on the internet...
Heather answered the phone and was a sweetheart! SO NICE! I was on the schedule for the next day but ended up having to make an emergency trip to the vet. The timing worked out, and Mickey even helped me get the kitty inside after we both pulled up to the house at the same time.
Understanding my situation, Mickey was willing to work with me and gave me honest answers to all of the questions I had. He worked his schedule around ours, and his boys came back the very next morning. They were on time and took care of our water heater in 2.5 hours. Don't be fooled by their age- they know what they're doing.
And to all of my homeowner friends who didn't know who to call- call the Plumbinator!

I have been meaning to write a review about them since I first had an experience with them over a year ago but yelping is never the first thing that comes to mind when I get to my computer so I always forget. I always love when something I have had a great experience with has just a stream of great reviews, its good to know that others feel the same way.
Here goes, they are by far the best plumbing services in town. Do not let the Round Rock address deter you, they go ALL OVER Austin, They are very fair, extremely well priced and show up when they say they.
I am in real estate and am constantly having to give out referrals because of inspections ect. I am so lucky that I finally came across them every time we have to refer them out our clients come back to us so thankful and excited because they feel they were treated fairly got the job done right and are able to move forward with a transaction. To me that speaks volumes because when we recommend someone we want to know that our clients will get taken care of and I have no doubt in my mind that they will with Mickey and his crew.
I am not exaggerating when I say that every time we refer them out of clients could not be happier and are so thankful to us.
They are also who I use for my personal plumbing. They stand by the work 100% and if something comes up they will be back out to make sure that the problem is put to rest. They are very respectful, efficient, and how business should be done.
I give them my highest recommendation and confidently give out their name and number anytime someone asks for plumbing services. These are your guys!

I'm so glad to discover Mickey and his team. He came over and provided a quote before I had even received a call-back from several other plumbers I had called. He gave me a very reasonable quote, along with some very helpful advice. We were instaling a vanity and sink in a half-bath, replacing two toilets, and repairing a bathtub. The work was done quickly and professionally. He provided a couple of the items needed at his cost, and showed me copies of all receipts for materials purchased. In particular, I had received quotes for the bathtub repair that were double and triple what Mickey quoted, because they assumed the worst-case scenario (having to cut into the wall and replace the entire assembly). Mickey admitted that was a possibility, but wanted to try a much less expensive repair first. It worked perfectly. We will definitely be calling again for any future work.

So, I am new to the Round Rock area. Just bought a house. Less than a week into the house and I have sprung a leak in my front yard. Not sure who to call, I do what every other reasonable person does - I turned to the internet to find a plumber. I read all the reviews ... from well known names to unknown names. But the thing that made me call The Plumbinator was that the reviews were very favorable ... and they are local. So, I called.
I talked to Mickey and got an appointment for them to come out Saturday morning at 9:30am. It was 9:46am by the time they arrived - Tim and Cord (?) - not Mickey. These guys looked like they could be maybe 21 yrs old? I thought oh great ... will they know how to help me. Well, first off - they apologized for being late. Whew, that was nice! And then they set about finding the leak. They did that pretty quickly - digging up some of the yard, showing me where on my water meter it would indicate a water leak (a little spinning triangle) and honestly, had to dig through some mud to get to the sprinkler system piping that was leaking.
The whole time Tim kept me updated on their progress. At one point they needed to go get some parts but they came right back. They showed me the leak, then showed the replaced piping and showed how they replaced the piping with even better, stronger piping. Wow. They went above expectations there.
But the part that I must say that I really appreciated was that Cord (again, not sure I am spelling his name right but he was a good guy) was on his hands and knees filling the muddy hole with the mud clods and grass to make it look as good as it could. And honestly, when he was done, it looked pretty darn good.
My age probably reflects why I think these guys were far younger than I expected, but they were courteous, straight forward on what was happening, helped me understand the leak, fixed the leak in a solid fashion, and I truly felt like they did the very best job for me.
I will call them and use them again for any future plumbing issues. I will also recommend them to friends. Good company. Fair price. Expert work.

This is by far the best plumber I have ever encountered and I have come across many in my profession (property manager). We called Mickey out to give us a bid to finish up a job that a different plumber had started but wanted way, way too much $$$ to complete. He was able to get the job done for much less than the other company and in less time that the other company had quoted as well.
He told us if he can't fix it, then he won't charge you anything. I have never heard these words come out of any other plumber's mouth. He is a real ethical and moral person when it comes to his business and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs a good plumber.
