As a family-owned business with over two decades of serving the Mat Su Valleys, The Plug Buster offers reliable services. We offer a full list of services, including drain cleaning, water and sewer thawing, plumbing repairs, and septic pumping. The Plug Buster services both residential and commercial plumbing needs. No job is too small for us.

The Plug Buster started in 1988 as a one-man business. When our son returned from military duty in Iraq, we expanded into a father-son business Ron, having a solid foundation in construction and Boy Scouts of America, runs the company. Ron enjoys helping people. John (the son) follows in his father's footsteps

Ron's roots are in construction Ron's father was a construction foreman for a major contractor in Las Vegas Ron spent his youth assisting his father Following high school and his LDS mission, Ron trained as an apprentice carpenter. Ron soon became a journeyman carpenter. Ron moved to Alaska in 1983, worked for two years, then went back to school for a construction trades teaching degree After teaching in the valley for three years, he decided to start his own business and founded The Plug Buster Ron has been serving the valley for 22 years Alongside his work, Ron has been an adult scout leader for 38 years.
