Jason Kahan & Paul Pavidis (they are partnership) also have invest in some new development condos around the Boston areas especially Somerville and East Boston. They are really bad developers who like to cut corners on their condos. Also, they always lying about the square footage of their condos on the market. When dealing with them you have to be very be-careful because they will try to take advance of you in every ways if they can.
I have worked with them on purchasing one of their development units and noticed that they cut corners on alot of stuff in the unit (such as they left the roof undone when there are already buyers for the unit. On top of that they back-out after accepted our offer because other buyer offered more. They also use our offer letter to close the other unit in the condo because you must have at least 50% owner occupied in-order to close the deal otherwise the buyer will pay super high interests rate.
If you look them up online, you'll find some bad news about their development without the city approval and caused the roof to collapse on one of their developments in Somerville, ma.

i wish i could give these guys negative stars. not just really bad work but what in our opinion were really bad people. the whole crew. we had to redo most of the work they did at a massive expense to us - and the bad work they did that we couldn't remedy (w/o literally tearing our house apart) left us basically screwed. by far the single worst contractor experience (and people) that we have hired through three separate home renovation projects and with all sorts of contractors and sub-contractors. the plumbers we hired to come in and fix what pavidis did so poorly told us that the work pavidis did was the worst plumbing work they had ever seen. not to city code, not to manufacturers code, all a big f-ing mess.

Do not ever use this service.

They were unprofessional and promised to do a job that they did not follow through with They arrived at my house and didn't have the equipment to fix my sink so wanted to charge me another $165 to come back on a different day to fix it.

Paul Pavidis is rude and overcharged me for not fixiing what was promised.

I will never use them again and make sure to warn my friends and family against him as well.

Paul is a great plumber who really helps us out when we need work done! His prices are always fair and he is reliable!

I scheduled a big plumbing job over 2 weeks in advance, had to empty out the building of my tenants for a day without water or bathrooms, called in advance to confirm the appointment, drove in from out of town to meet the plumbers, and they didn't show up!
I called and he said he ""forgot"" to put it on the schedule (even though I had called to confirm 3 days earlier), I am now stuck doing it another day and inconveniencing myself and all my tenants, and this guy wanted to ""reschedule"" for another day! NOT a chance!!!

I'm sure he has plenty of work, so he doesn't need my business; I just don't want anyone else to get stuck the same way.
