Recommended Customer Reviews
The PAR Group is the only HVAC/ plumbing company I'll ever recommend. I managed an office building on LI a couple years ago and the HVAC went out in the dead of winter leaving hundreds of high rent paying tenants without heat. I called around for for an emergency service and luckily found PAR. The guys who showed up to the building treated our problem as if it were one of their own family members and had us up and running in no time. In talking to the guys I learned that they've been servicing Manhattan for like, a hundred years and I can see why. Thanks guys.
I called this company to fix the shower in my tenants apartment. The water pressure was very low. The plumber from PAR came to the apartment, spent 3 1/2 hours there, changed 2 things and told my tenant that he thought the problem was with the main valve behind the wall. So the problem was not fixed but he wrote on the paperwork that it had been fixed and, unfortunately, my tenant signed it. So I got someone else the next day who fixed it in an hour. Now I get a bill from PAR for almost $900. When I called to complain about this, I was told that my tenant should not have signed off on this. True, but the plumber from PAR should not have written that the problem was fixed when it clearly wasn't. I was told that I should have called them back to fix the problem (again) and probably get billed for another service call. So stay away from this company. I'm being charged for a 3 1/2 hour visit that resulted in the problem not being fixed, and had to find a competent plumber the next day who, remember, had the problem fixed in an hour!
