Recommended Customer Reviews

I would not recommend this company. Not sure why they changed their name to Texas Leakmaster, maybe because of the other bad reviews. Hired The Original Leakmaster to find a pool leak. Blaine told me the leak was because the pool needed to be replastered. I thought it might be plumbing because of how the leak was flowing out and how much water was leaking. Blaine went on to tell me that he was the best in the business and there was no one better. He went on to say that they guaranteed their work and would refund our money if he was wrong. Several plaster companies came out to bid to replaster the pool. All of them thought the leak was not from the plaster. We contacted Blaine multiple times (via email & phone) about what we found out. His response was the same and would not come out. Another company found the leak in the plumbing and said we had another 2-5 years before we need to replace the plaster. If we would have done what Blaine recommended, we would still have had the leak and had to bust up the new plaster to fix the leak. That would have been a $12,000+ mistake. In addition, Blaine was very rude and very unprofessional on the phone. His demeanor was defensive and he started yelling at me on the phone then hung up.

$365 to point at an obvious leak seems like a horrible deal to me. Make sure you understand what service they are offering. I already knew where the leak was and wanted someone to fix it. I was told that my $365 would cover the first 2 hours. They spent 2 hours testing, showed my wife the obvious leak, said they didn't have time to fix anything, then cashed my check. I don't have money to pay people to tell me what I already know and don't know many people who do.

I would highly suggest not to use these guys. They overcharge. They misdiagnosed my issue. Logan used his dad as his excuse for everything. I honestly think he used my house as an opportunity to get experience fixing basic plumbing issues. It appeared that Blain is trying to bring up his kid to help with the business, but his kid doesn't know much. So they are using their clients to train him and make money in the process.

The advertisement sounds great but the service and communication was abysmal. Not only did they change the hourly rate once they arrived, they took several weeks, did not complete the job, did not return phone calls or show up when they said they would or repair the leaks they did find. The bill did not reflect any of this though as they charged full price for the unsubstantiated hours even though the job was left unfinished. On top of this, the operator, Blain, spent more times telling tales of his masculine accomplishments while his befuddled helpers ran around without any tools waiting for orders in between his infrequent pauses during the story telling. I was able to find another reputable plumber to finish the incomplete job for much less money. Moral of the story, slick advertising doesn't cover up a lack of the basics such as follow through and good communication.
