ZERO stars!
Avoid at all costs, literally. I was assigned this company through my home warranty company. Trampas seems to be a nice guy, but very poor in customer service and charges an exorbitant amount for parts. My water heater needed replacing and he couldn't get the right product. Only after he installed a replacement, he realized it was the WRONG item! So much else but I don't want to wast any more of my time complaining about this. It took over 3 days working with him until I finally had to sever my business with him and do the repairs ourselves. Also, in the beginning he gave me some sort of story that he couldn't accept credit cards, only later to tell me he could. AVOID.

I would post negative stars if possible, but can't. First, Magnum Plumbing is no longer in service but TRAMPAS SMITH "moonlights" under the company name, allowing him to charge unknowing customers out the wazoo. He seems nice enough, so I used him for 3 jobs and this is the LAST TIME. He has taken 2+ trips to complete a job every time, and this time he charged me $700 for 2 hours of work in which I purchased the parts. He told me "the man" needed to take a cut of the bill, but he would "work with me;" only later did I find out that "the man" is him, because the company is out of business! I got to know him through 2-10 home warranty co and I will definitely let them know about him as well.

They don't care about your time. Numerous reschedules, none of which they called to tell anyone about. They just no-show and you have to reach out to them. Always an excuse.

I have a home warranty so I reached out to them with a plumbing issue and they dispatched Magnum Plumbing. After missing an appointment window time Magnum scheduled with my warranty company without any notice (I actually called them 10 minutes before their window was up) and I had to ask them if they were coming, they came at another scheduled time. The gal who answered the phone every time I called seemed annoyed that I was persistent in my follow up. Excuse me, if you're not going to be good at follow up and it's your job to do so, I'll go over the top with my follow up to ensure my issue is resolved.

The technicians were less than professionally dressed and less than professional in their communication. They diagnosed my issue and when asked what it would cost them to repair it they threw out an astronomical and seemingly random random number (no calculations, no thinking about it... just threw it out there). Of course, I said no, because the number was ridiculous and I didn't want their staff in my home any longer than absolutely.

The biggest problem is what they diagnosed was INCORRECT and when fixed by a professional of my choice, the issue persisted. Are you kidding me? Stay away.

The technician (Trampas) couldn't arrive on the original date of the appointment and had to reschedule to Saturday so some points off for that. But once he was here, he quickly spotted the problem being gasket misalignment in between the bathtub and the overflow pipe as the cause, pushed that in place, applied some putty and the issue appears fixed. Thumbs up!

they somehow got my credit card number and went on a charging spree @1:36am...having the hardest time getting my credit card company to reverse charges. they did $274 1 day then $196 another day until we had 7 transactions on different days total $1744. did i say we didn't get any plumbing done last year at all!!!!! somehow they can make it look like your credit card was swiped...not keyed in...interesting!!! my physical credit card has never left my purse. don't use them.

My home warranty sent him out to our rental home. He called me on Saturday and I gave him my credit card for the $45. service fee. At 12:23pm the card was ran. At 12:23am Sunday I received another email stating he had ran my card again for $267.50. I sent him a text message when I saw it. I called him at 8:30am he wouldn't answer the phone.
These are the text messages:
Me: (3:30am) You charged my credit card $267.50. My balance was $45.00. I did not authorize you to charge my credit card that amount.
Him: (8:50am) The charge was reversed.
Him: (9:22am) I am not sure. The charge has been reversed. Apologize for the mix up.
Me: (9:24am) It is still showing. Why was that charged this morning?
Him: (9:26am) I really do not know. My account may have been hacked. But I refunded the charge, not sure how long it takes to process.
During all this I have been calling him and he still won't answer.
Me: (9:29am) Please have the common decency to answer the phone. I am trying to talk to you about this problem of you charging me and it's still showing up in my bank and you will not answer your phone.
Him: (9:29am) I am heading into church. I will call you back when it is over.
Me: (9:29am) I have been up the entire night as soon as I got that email.
Him: (9:31am) I apologize for the trouble. I will call you back as soon as church is over.
Him: (9:36am) Here is a copy of the transaction receipt. Sends copy of some type receipt that doesn't say where it is from or anything just the amount.
I start calling him at 1:00pm and again at 1:30pm he will not answer. So I sent him a text again.
Me: (1:41pm) I need to know when the money will be put back in my account. My husband had a heart transplant 2 years ago and he takes 23 meds twice a day. I have to pick up his medication today, I need my money. He will die without his medication.

He has not answered and he has flat out lied. He was not hacked he screwed up and charged me for work done for someone else. That money he took is the part what I have to pay for medication. He is not interested in correcting his mistake and doesn't have the morals to speak with me. COWARD! I have reported him to the warranty company and am planning on reporting him to the licensing board and BBB. There is a reason he has such poor reviews. I hope I get my money back and today. I would beware of giving this man your credit card information.

AVOID!!!! He was sent out by our home warranty company. He came to our house, with no info despite us providing everything, we told him the problem, paid $60, and he just left. No call, or anything.

Then, he randomly shows up two days later, "fixes" the issue. Next day my sink is still leaking.

This guy has no idea what he is doing, and knows absolutely nothing about customer service.

My tankless water heater stopped heating and the water pressure was very low. I got this plumber through a home warranty service. Trampas called me Saturday morning to make the appointment, which we did, for 3-5 pm Monday. Then he called me Sunday afternoon to make the appointment for Tuesday. I said we had just spoken the day before and already made an appointment. He response was, "I speak to a lot of people and can't remember everyone". Then he texted to confirm the appointment 3-5 Monday. He didn't show on Monday and didn't call or text me. I called the warranty company Tuesday morning and they said he would be here 3:00 pm Tuesday. So I ran some errands and got a call a little after 10 Tuesday asking if I was home. I was not but said I would be there shortly. So he did show up around 10:45 am. He insisted that I pay for flushing the unit even though it was just flushed 3 weeks ago. The flushing did not fix the problem (I knew it would not and I had to keep checking the pump and turn it off and testing the flow). His assistant made a huge mess trying to change buckets without turning off the pump and sprayed water on everything in my garage. After paying another $150 the problem still exists! So if you want a plumber who will show up on time, listen to you and do the job correctly, this is not your man!
