I scheduled with John a week out, he did not show up for the appointment at the agreed time so I called him. He came by, but was not able to do the work because he was so late. My tenant was only available in the three hour time window he gave. He said he would reschedule, he never did. Had to hire someone else. Not reliable.

I bypassed a franchise rooter company to give these guys a call for my sump pump repair. I needed a quick response, which they did.
However, the driver told me my pump was old, under powered and needed replacement. He was going to install a 2hp pump to the tune of 1200 for the pump alone. He asked me to sign a $ 3400 quote that didn't include any electrical work.
I asked for a breakdown of costs. He declined, so i sent him on his way. Turns out everything he said was untrue about my pump. A buddy came over and we fixed it for $400. The pump was manufactured in 2016 and at .5hp, is more than adequate for the job. A pipe fitting vibrated loose is the only problem we had. No tank pumping necessary. I do not recommend these guys, over sell...and lies.

I needed a new valve installed to hook my fridge up to the wall) I had a cheap plastic one that needed to be replaced). I asked for a quote from The Local Guys Plumbing on yelp and was immediately contacted back to set up a time for a free estimate so they could see exactly what I needed. Tory was able to come next day and give me a quote and do the fix right then. He was very knowledgable, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend these guys and will definitely be using them in the future for all of my plumbing needs. Don't waste your time with other companies who will charge you just to come out and 'look'. Definitely go with these guys.

Super happy that I called Local Guys Plumbing! Fast friendly service and job was done cheaper than over the phone ballpark estimate. Solved my issue and I found out they service anything plumbing related from water heaters to leaky faucets. I would highly recommend these guys over any others. Now I have only one plumbers card in my rolodex.

Definitely recommend these guys!!! They came out and gave me a free estimate, and their price was awesome. The plumbers were very friendly and very knowledgeable! They didn't treat me like ""just a girl who doesn't know anything"". They gave me an upfront price and did the job quickly and cleaned up (which I loved ha ha!). Will definitely use them again!!

Leaving this review because I've NEVER felt more compelled to do so!!

I had these fellows out first for an estimate, before anyone else. I was given a total of $1600 dollars for a new water heater, new flex lines, new compression tank, and hauling off my old one. On top of that, I was told that to get it up to code, I had to have floor straps instead of wall straps because my basement walls were rock and couldn't be drilled into...He quoted me $409 for these, stating it's $309 for the floor mounts alone. That's an estimate totalling $2,000!!! Upon research, floor mounts aren't anywhere near $300 he quoted me.

I have had two other estimates done since then. For the exact quoted items above by The Local Guys, both other companies came in $1,000 less!!!!!

On too of THAT, I didn't even NEED any of that anyway!!! Both others confirmed that all that happened was my thermostat tripped because it was set too high. All that needed to be done (which took literally less than five minutes) was reset the thermostat!!! Voila, hot water.

I'm more than disappointed in these guys, especially considering they had great previous reviews and pride themselves on being local... You'd think that by trying to get a leg up by taking pride in being local, that honesty and integrity would be at the forefront of your service.

Maybe these guys thought I was a sucker because I was a solo female. Well, too bad. I'm a female who did her research and got more than one estimate - the other two I got, more than confirmed that the estimate from The Local Guys was garbage, trying to sell me service that I didn't need, at a jacked up price at that!

We needed 2 new hose bibs, 2 shutoff valves, and a new main valve. They were very quick with the estimate and very fast doing the jobs. Super nice. Everything was great. We will contact them again the next time we need anything done!

What nice guys! Came on a Saturday to fix a couple of small things. They are pleasant, efficient and easy to work with. It's nice to have people like that to call. I will definitely call them again if I need plumbing services.

The Local Guy I met (Tory) was great! He gave me a quick quote through the Yelp ""Request A Quote"" feature and got me into his schedule asap!

The frost and snow of this past winter did a number on my super old outdoor hose bib and I wanted to get a frost free one installed. Because...winter happens.

Tory came out (on a weekend morning) and was on time, did the work well, and was friendly. I'm glad I gave The Local Guys a try and I would call them again for future plumbing projects!
