Quick response, friendly and quality work. However $188 to change a rubber gasket in the toilet tank which is a $5 part and 10 minute job seems way too expensive. They do good work, but you will pay WAY above average prices.

Asked Aaron & David to replace our original hot water heater early this morning. It came with our Cinco Ranch home when we bought it in 1995. It gave out this weekend. Professional, polite, and informed, reasonable estimate, timely work and a Katy work ethic, we recommend The Katy Plumbing Company.

Absolutely horrible service. Called them for a clogged line and instead of fixing the line quoted 200 dollars to replace a fixture that worked fine. Regarding the clogged line - recommended replacing the water pipes inside the wall. Horrible service in every way.

They quoted me almost $300 service charge just to come out on an "emergency basis" to diagnose the problem - it would not have included any parts or labor.
Called another local plumber and they told me how to temporarily stop the issue until they could come out the next day to fix it properly - only cost me half of what Katy Plumbing was going to charge me in service fees to have it repaired.

My neighbor informed me I had a leak on my side yard with water coming onto his driveway. Based on the a Yelp reviews, I booked an appointment via their webpage to look into the problem. Within a few minutes they contacted me and sent out a technician, Michael. He was very thorough, turning off all water systems and main water. The leak was still there. He was able to determine the leak was actually on my neighbors main water line and the line crosses into my property. They contacted my neighbor and promptly the hole was dug, line repaired and ground restored. Price seemed fair (plumbing issues expensive) but great service!

I have never been disappointed with The Katy Plumbing Company. Every technician that we have met has gone above and beyond. Today Patrick Fulton came by and took care of an issue. He was open, honest and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs an honest, reliable, and professional plumbing service. I have no reason to go elsewhere. One of the best investments was to purchase the membership plan. It was low-cost and has provided me with discounted pricing that has definitely come in hand. Thanks guys!

Highly recommend Katy Plumbing! Ryan came out to replace a toilet and repair a broken one. We encountered some additional issues along the way but he stayed until the evening hours to complete the job! He was so professional, so knowledgeable and so hard working! I'm so glad I found this company! No one likes to have to call a plumber. It usually means a huge headache but Ryan AND Katy Plumbing are the ONLY plumbing company I will ever call again!

Its not often that I have been HAD but this was one of those times. I called Katy Plumbing for a leak in my 3/4 Hp garbage disposal that is only three years old. It was an emergency on Mothers Day and because my house is up for sale and we were having an open house this same day, I needed help. Their repairman came out and looked under my sink and said "Wow, I sorry, but we don't carry that brand of repair parts in our inventory. But I can sell you a new disposal unit its a 7/8 hp and is great." So, I needed it fixed so I agreed. I was shocked when I saw that the new disposal unit was the exact same brand he took out! The drain gasket connector that was broken was an exact match as the one on the new unit. To add insult to injury, I was charged $646.00 for a unit that I could have bought myself for $346.00! How can you sell and repair a brand of garbage disposals without carry the parts. I sincerely believe that the repairman gets a commission on what he sells... he gets the commission and I got the shaft!

$295.00 to "find" a leak. It took 10 minutes to find because we basically knew where it was. Did they apply that fee to the repair? NO, they charged another $400.00 on top of that to repair it. The whole repair took around one hour. They are very nice and professional but their charges are completely outrageous. We need more plumbers in the Katy area because these guys have gotten too big for their britches.

I give two stars, as I have used them before and they have done good work on small issues. This time I had sewer water coming from under my house leaking out onto my driveway and into the street. Not a massive amount, but it was happening. I called and said I need a camera line test to find out where the leak was. I would have paid for it, no problem. He came out and said the camera test will not do any good. We just have to start tunneling and repairing until the problem is fixed. Starting Price was $10k and could go up to $20k. I was not convinced. I got someone out two weeks later, main issue was sewer line was clogged and bam, no more water leaking from under the house.
Another note, I bought the house two months ago and did not know where the sewer cleanout was. The guy did not even help me try to find it. The next company that came out, helped me find that there was not one since it was an old house, sent out their crew a week later to dig where the sewer line was, opened it up, unclogged it, put on a new sewer line cleanout, and they have gained a new customer for life. The company made videos of the sewer line and did not find any large leaks. Yes, there may be small ones, but everything is running from the house to the sewer line, since the line is unclogged. Main issue resolved and no more water leaking onto the driveway and into the street. The neighbors and my wife are now happy campers :).
