I have used Katy Plumbing for a year now and they are just exceptional. They take great pride in their work and always deliver on time and make sure you know everything before they start so there are no surprise costs. James came today and he was very thorough, extremely nice and knows exactly what he is doing. But their best point of contact is MANDY their receptionist. As first point of contact for a company, her customer service skills are above and beyond what anyone should expect. She is professional, friendly and stands by her company.

Katy Plumbing Company is awesome! Jake came out and went above and beyond for the two jobs I had. Kind, courteous, and made sure everything was working great. Got our water softener working again and flushed our tankless water heater. It's great to have such a knowledgeable person working at your home. I trust Katy Plumbing Co!

Tried to use Katy plumping to get a shower cap changed as I was travelling, but they charged us a whopping $125 to change a shower cap. Initially when I had called in to check, they mentioned that they do not have any minimum charges for the work, but after complaining the service manager called me to say that the minimum for any work is $125. They mentioned sending our trucks to a location (even when they were at Katy) was an expensive affair.

Would not recommend them to anyone. Very very expensive.

To be honest, The Katy Plumbing Company has the nicest staff one will ever come across.

After searching for a week to find a plumbing company that works on propane tanks, my homeowners insurance company still couldn't find one. So they put that responsibility into us. I luckily stumbled upon the Katy Plumbing Company and they were more than I could have ever expected. They handled the frustrating insurance company with class and dignity; all in while, were the most professional organization to deal with for the customer.

They do everything in their power to put the client first and their staff is what makes them so special. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing needs.

We have used Katy Plumbing several times over the past few years and have been pleased with them each time. The phone is answered by a live person whenever I've called and requested service. From the person answering the phone to the plumber who does our work, each seems personable and competent.
I called to get today's appointment and had several time block choices. Mandy , at Katy Plumbing, noticed that Forrest had never worked in our home, so she quickly sent an email prior to his arrival so that I had his picture and knew a little about him. Forrest arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, left briefly to get the right part, & returned quickly to complete the repair. He left our home neat & clean.
I like being able to use $25 off coupon that had been mailed to me previously.
We feel confident & comfortable using Katy Plumbing Company.

What a shame! Wanted to support local Katy company since we are the same, ended up getting a bad deal! Called them because we were having a hard time lighting our hot water heaters after an issue with the gas. It was a Saturday, so they said it would be a $125.00 trip fee. Did not really like this but had them come out anyway. They lit (4) hot water heaters and were here for about a hour (of actual work), charged $667.00. Please do not support a company that gouges its customers.

I paid for an emergency call on the weekend for backup sewer service, they came within the hour ( the only positive thing about this experience), started working on the outside clean out, after 30 minutes of video and snaking I was told that there is a lot of grease built up and I needed a Jet service which they would do on another day. They charged me $125 for the emergency service plus $250 for their work on that day. I was told that I need to pay them an additional $1300 for the Jet service as it is the only way to clear the grease built up.

Next day I called another plumber, he put his camera and showed me that the grease is still there and Katy Pluming did not do a thing, he laughed when I told him about the Jet service, according to him it is only done in restaurants and such. For $240 Rescue Rooter cleaned up the grease and the sewer line is working as new.

Had a delay in original arrival. They dispatched a new plumber, showed up within 10 minutes of what was originally expected, so not too bad. The plumber, James, was fantastic quick, proficient, and a good communicator. Cost came in under what original budget was expected. Happy with the service, especially James the plumber they ended up having to send.
