Two technician showed up without mask at my doorstep. I asked them to put on mask since I'm pregnant, and they refused to do so saying the mask mandate is now lifted. Would encourage folks to AVOID their service as they definitely DO NOT CARE about their customers at all.

The Honest Plumber, Nathan and Jacob specifically, replaced my toilet with a new one that I had purchased. They were competent, fast, efficient and nice! I mentioned to them that I'll be having them back, hopefully soon, to replace a faucet! Totally recommend them...

Nothing Honest about these so called ""honest plumbers""!!! They are a company that is scamming the home warranty insurance and the people who own the home warranties. These people came out 4 times to fix a problem to then report back to the insurance company the last time something completely different to still get paid but not have to come back to fix the problem. Next plumber to come in fixed it right away and it was due to the ""honest plumbers"" not doing the job correctly! How much wasted time for us as well as them. Seems like based on reviews when they are coming out for home warranty calls they just want to say the came, make a fake report (which I think should be fraud) get paid from the insurance company and not do any work!! Sad this is how our world is now!

I was a little bit apprehensive reading some of the poor reviews, but ended up getting Nathan and Jacob. I wanted them to wear booties, so only Nathan came in as he was the only one that had them... my interactions with them were great. Both of them take the time to explain what's going on and have a lot of patience and friendliness. They are very open to helping you more, taking a look at other things, and exploring options with your home warranty and doing the extra work. We have Old Republic and don't have any complaints, since it's always clear what they will and won't cover. This was an easy job today--mostly just replacing a flapper, but I appreciate Nathan's honesty that it was something I could do myself if I wanted to. (The previous plumber mentioned that my previous successful replacement on a different faucet was a little bit off, so he ended up doing it himself through the warranty, so that scared me off on future ones).

Nathan also took a look at our foyer faucet, which was releasing water at a slight angle, and took a video of it to explore options with the warranty. Lastly, Nathan looked at our Jack & Jill bathtub, where the hot water doesn't flow very strongly, and explained why that was. They will explore options there too in case there are ways the warranty can improve the situation. Hoping to see them again on these follow-ups, but we will see if the home warranty provides enough coverage.

They were also really knowledgeable on water heaters with a lot of views that matched my own extensive research.

Bottom line: great bedside manner, take time to explain things and go the extra mile, pretty knowledgeable, and willing to explore what your options and coverage are with the warranty.

I called Fidelity insurance as New homeowner paid $75 for plugged up sewer pipe,ok,you can't call Fidelity,you have to pay online,no one answers phone! So they send Honest Plumber co,they can't locate sewer drain,told me it's on roof,Not covered by Fidelity,and left. I had Rotorooter come over,they locate pipe on ground! Is Honest Plumbing Co and Fidelity out to ripped of customers? Beware of both!

Jacob & Nathan are a good team. They came out to fix our garbage disposal and gave us some helpful tips. They also snaked all our old toilets. We can't wait to have them replace all our toilets to newer models. Thanks and please keep up the good work!

Really really bad services, don't use this plumbing company especially for emergency, you will wait forever. They are the worst terrible plumber. Don't use their services. My experience matches all these negative reviews here. I will give 0 star if we could.

I had a water heater problem at my house and called my home warranty company which gave me THe Honest Plumber. They came to my home and said my hot water heater was bad and needed to be replaced. The current HWH is electric and they recommended for me to convert it to a propane tankless. I had some questions and concerns about fitment and running a new propane line. They did not like me questioning them because I felt a propane unit would cost to much in the long run. I have called them multiple times with no return call. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had to find another plumber to complete the job! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE DISHONEST PLUMBER!!

They had replaced my water heater Pilot Light and without putting a sealed unit, they just rigged it and put a tape. I got PG&E to inspect my water heater today and this was their assessment. I called The Honest Plumber (408) 500-5240 today to inform of this finding and if they could come out and try to fix this. Spoke with a person called Amber and she went ballistics on me and hung up the phone. Requested to speak to a supervisor and she informed me that he is already aware and that they will not fix it and for me to call my home warranty to request a new service order. I will make a complain to the City of San Jose as this is dangerous and could cause an explosion if not fixed.
Do not call this company for any repairs.
