Jacob & Nathan are a good team. They came out to fix our garbage disposal and gave us some helpful tips. They also snaked all our old toilets. We can't wait to have them replace all our toilets to newer models. Thanks and please keep up the good work!

Really really bad services, don't use this plumbing company especially for emergency, you will wait forever. They are the worst terrible plumber. Don't use their services. My experience matches all these negative reviews here. I will give 0 star if we could.

I had a water heater problem at my house and called my home warranty company which gave me THe Honest Plumber. They came to my home and said my hot water heater was bad and needed to be replaced. The current HWH is electric and they recommended for me to convert it to a propane tankless. I had some questions and concerns about fitment and running a new propane line. They did not like me questioning them because I felt a propane unit would cost to much in the long run. I have called them multiple times with no return call. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had to find another plumber to complete the job! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE DISHONEST PLUMBER!!

They had replaced my water heater Pilot Light and without putting a sealed unit, they just rigged it and put a tape. I got PG&E to inspect my water heater today and this was their assessment. I called The Honest Plumber (408) 500-5240 today to inform of this finding and if they could come out and try to fix this. Spoke with a person called Amber and she went ballistics on me and hung up the phone. Requested to speak to a supervisor and she informed me that he is already aware and that they will not fix it and for me to call my home warranty to request a new service order. I will make a complain to the City of San Jose as this is dangerous and could cause an explosion if not fixed.
Do not call this company for any repairs.

This company was sent by First American Home Warranty, they were there for 10 minutes said he could not unclog the main line. He literally didn't do anything and wanted to leave. this guy and the company was worthless as well as First American Home Warranty. I would give them 0 if I could!!!!no communication or follow up!!!

Wish I could give them 0 stars. They should change their name to dishonest plumbers. We posted our complaint via American Home Shield and were assigned this absolutely unprofessional contractor. They came to our house to fix a faucet which should ideally be a simple job. After sending an amateur the main guy came in to review the issue and came to the same conclusion that a part needed to be replaced. He said they will get back after the new part arrives but never called back for over 2 months. Every time I would call them, I would be put on long holds. They are an absolute pain to work with

I contacted Eddy (Honest Plumber) originally was just trying to fix the plumbing issue. It come to find out the issue is the sewage line should be replaced after 60 years (since the house was built). It is time to fix the root cause (old sewage line). Eddy explained every step to me and he was able to complete in a very reasonable time (about two weeks) not to mention the rain during this process and obtaining permit. I totally understand why some people rated differently but could not agree with them. Especially when they use home warranty program. I was one of them for 10 years myself before and just recently cancelled it. For one, the warranty usually does not fix most of the needed plumbing issues. For two, they have many restrictions that disallow plumbers to really fix the issue but to patch problems. That is my experience with home warranty. Overall, my experience with Honest Plumber was very positive. I learned a a lot throughout the process with Eddy's help. For any one rate 1 star, please keep in mind this is review of the work for my home and comparison shopping is good. Lowest prices does not mean the best work. I am always looking for quality/honest and effective work. For this case, I rate Honest Plumber 5 stars for the work done for my house. I am at times not the easiest person to work with because I ask a lot of questions but Eddy was able to answer and at the end of the day the work was completed before the holidays. I could not have asked for more but say ""thank you, Eddy"".

Got assigned through Fidelity Home Warranty on a Tuesday for replacing a leaking water heater. Made multiple requests to expedite the process by submitting the quote as early as possible to Fidelity. They did not care. They waited till Friday end of business. By the time I could get a response from Fidelity it was Saturday ,too late to get an appointment from them. Finally Monday morning they picked my call after multiple attempts and they could it on Wednesday. It was test of my patience . Of course they do not care . Probably they get enough business through home warranty. If you are in an emergency who are in for PAIN. Got

My experience matches all these negative reviews here.

1. Water heater stops working.
2. Fidelity Home Warranty sends me this crappy contractor.
3. They look at water heater and declare that heater and control unit are from different manufacturers and they need ""parts"" to fix it. They say they will call me. But they never do.
4. I have to call to find out that insurance denied repairs because ""bad installation"", this is despite the fact that heater worked for 15 years.
5. I asked then for a quote to repair out of pocket. They say they'll call back. They never do.

I then get a proper water heater company. They declare that installation is good, manufacturer of heater and control unit is the same. Heater manifold is bad and needs replacing.

Overall this contractor feels like just a front for these fake 'insurance' companies.
