Do not do business with this company. In short, they are not honest. Had them come out through my home warranty and the technician told me I had a huge problem that would cost thousands. He told me they have a 'labor crew' that comes and does the manual labor. It all made sense to me and I trusted them since they are the Honest Plumber and they came through the home warranty. Basically, the 'labor crew' was a former employee who was working with the technician to start his own business and steal work from the company. So, a guy did work on my house who I thought was working for the Honest Plumber but wasn't. All of this at the suggestion and idea of the technician from the Honest Plumber. When I asked the company if they contract out or use 'labor crews' they said absolutely not. But then, they blamed me for agreeing with the third party to do the work. I wouldn't have if their technician hadn't set it up. The company wouldn't do anything to make it right, they said it was my word against their plumbers word, and their plumber lied about the whole situation...denied it ever happened. It makes me wonder if I ever did have a real problem that needed all this work or if it was all a big scam. Worst of all, the company wont do anything about it and even made me feel like I had to 'prove' that this really happened.

FIVE STARS for the owner Mike and his company! My family has been using Honest Plumber for many years now. He's our go-to guy for plumbing issues and we trust his work. We've had to ""try"" other plumbers because of home warranty, but most of the time they misdiagnose the problem and we have to call the warranty company back to get a second opinion. We request Honest Plumber and the problem gets fixed! Stay away from Hero's Plumbing and Payless Plumbing. Both have screwed up at our properties (see reviews on them).

Josh was working out of the San Jose office, and I was very pleased with everything about the repair. He came on the earlier side of the time window, which was convenient, he called before arriving, and he was very accommodating about wearing shoe covers, as I requested. He was able to diagnose and fix the problems fairly quickly and well. I'm thrilled with the result.

My experience with Jose from The Honest Plumber can likely be considered fraudulent. He parked in front of a fire hydrant. I answered the door and informed him he would get ticketed and his response was he wouldn't be long. He went into my bathroom, did an animated smell, suggested my bathroom was clean smelling when the reason for the call was a stench and I asked him to leave.

I contacted the company and my home warranty company to voice a complaint. At the Honest Plumber I was told a manager would return my call. That didn't happen and I had to call back a second time to complain which I did, only because I don't want him or them to waste other people's time. Completely dissatisfied and would refuse them as a contractor if the home warranty refers them again.

I had an honest plumber come out to my house under a home Warenty repair for my hot water heater. They were able to address the issue in about four days. One thing I will say is I wish they used better communication if it weren't for the poor communication during this waiting period I would give them a perfect score.
They are what they say however.

Expecting the WORST when I had to call them out this morning for a
""clogged"" toilet. Jeff arrived, called me back and said whatever it was is flushing NOW! No Charge.....Unheard Of.....My second time using them. I will continue to call them in a pinch..............Thank you Sheila for the referral!

I recently needed a plumber again for my kitchen sink garbage disposal replacement. I called Honest plumber and they efficiently set me up for the next day. They were right on time. Two very nice plumbers showed up and took care of the problem in short order. The price was very reasonable and I was very satisfied. I have used them in the past for a more serious plumbing issue and they did a perfect job. Honest Plumber is one of my steadfast home repair companies because they have proven themselves so reliable.
