I was so lucky to have been referred to Dave and his team. I needed a full re-piping of my old house and they we so nice to me and worked with me for seriously the best price in town. Dave and the entire team were so caring about my situation. What a great group of guys. They were all just so wonderful and efficient, I really can't thank them enough. I would recommend the Helpful Handyman for any project you need big or small and you can guarantee the work to done correctly for the best price. Thank you again! You're a life saver!!!

A WARNING TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE!
they did a job for me overcharged and did not do the job right. installed shower doors it leaks like a sieve. I was berated because I complained . I may even sue in small claims court. I'll have to check with my attorney on suing a LLC.

I can't thank Dave and his crew enough for helping me refurbish my 3 rental houses in Tucson. I am an out of state owner and needed someone I could trust and count on to complete a very long 'to do' list for each house. I ordered items from Home Depot that he picked up and installed. This included toilets, sinks, faucets, cooktops and lighting fixtures. He repaired drywall and stucco, fixed faulty plumbing and completed so many smaller items such as re-grouting bath fixtures, re-screening sliding doors, painting front doors, replacing lightbulbs, etc... No request too large or small. Dave and his team are extremely dependable, capable and reliable. I am so grateful for the work they completed for me, thank you Dave!

If I could give 1000 Stars I wouldn't hesitate! I was gifted a beautiful 70 in flatscreen TV. It had to be unwrapped and put in place and connected to the cable box. I knew Helpful Handyman from several years ago & the owner Dave was extremely dependable. An appointment was made at my convenience. Right on time Evan appears & there are no words as to how fantastic, patient & knowledgeable he is. There was a TV remote charged by Solar or a special size charging cord unfortunately unbeknownst to me not included in the purchase. Without hesitation he found the charging cord 15 minutes away at Ace Hardware. Back in a flash he said the purchase of the small charger wire was ""on him "" ... he can attest it brought tears to my eyes. He restored my faith there really are very very sincere nice people in this world! In a flash with his expertise ~ everything was up & working! His patience In explaining the features of the TV .. there are no words. I am remote challenged somewhat !!!! He also discarded the huge box and packaging in our community dumpster effortlessly .
Evan is living proof to me not all Superheroes wear a cape! If you are searching for a Very qualified honorable Handyman that provides multiple services don't hesitate. I very rarely recommend but Helpful Handyman is the exception! Dave the owner and Evan get my vote!

We had a pipe burst in a wall and we shut the water off at the street. Called a few companies and left voicemails. Called Dave and he answered the phone and came out a few hours later. Replaced plumbing in two locations and fixed the problem. Good work at a fair price and we had the water back on that afternoon. Would 100% recommend and use again.

We used Dave for a few years. He mounted the tv in our bed room to the wal. the place where the cords go into the wall is hanging out they just popped it it was never properly screwed in. They will brake things and not tell you. With hopes you just never realize on your own. As Daves company grew he started sending us the worst guys he had!!! Because we are nice people and never complained. He sent a kid one time to fix bricks in our house from a plumbing problem. The kid had never done brick work in his life!!! It looks like crap. and when I said something to Dave about it. His response was you never scrubbed it. That want Dave does blame on the customer. Then we had them install a microwave above our oven. Once again 2 guys with no experience. Needless to say our microwave is barely attached. We still never said anything to him about any of these issues. I didn't want to be a Karen. BUT the icing on the cake was. We had a appointment set up to put lights in our ceiling. I work from home and my husband had plans to go play gold for the day. We called the nite before to confirm the time. After 30 minutes I called Dave and said where are they. ""he said they are just down the street getting gas"". I've heard that line before. I told him just forget about it. And he was so rude!!!! Now my guys don't have work and blah blah blah.
So Dave will come to your house the first few times and he does do ok work. He does this to feel you out. And see if you are heaven forbid very nice or cool or old person. He will then start sending you this new guys that have no clue what they are doing!!!! Stay clear of this company at all coast! Cals plumping is amazing, and so Ace Handman Service. If they mess something up they will come back and fix it. Not yell at you like Dave does.
PS: those are just a few of the things that Dave f*cked up at my house. My neighbor used to also use them, but not anymore

These guys are great. I connected with them through Yelp and they were very responsive. I had originally arranged with Dave to have a new pull out hose on my kitchen faucet installed. They quoted a price of $79 which I felt was very reasonable and they were able to schedule me within a day or two. The day they were to come I learned that one of my windows was leaking and needed to be caulked until it could be replaced. I called Dave and he was willing to do it for me...and to not charge me more than the $79 quoted for the hose replacement! Both jobs were done in a quick and professional manner. I was greatly impressed and based on this experience I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

I was hit with a huge water bill which I determined to be caused by a leaky toilet in one of my bathrooms. My usual plumber was out of town, so I contacted Dave and he was able to squeeze me in to his schedule and fix the problem, installing a new unit. He was personable, professional, very reasonable and will henceforth be my go-to plumber/handyman.

Dave and his team are amazing! They got our entire laundry room brought up to code and came back the following week for a particularly complicated dishwasher/sink/faucet/garbage disposal install. Our old house presented many unexpected pains-in-the-butt for them but Dave, Joey, and Ty handled it all with consummate courtesy and professionalism. They are knowledgeable and take the time to explain how the systems in your house work so you can become a more informed homeowner. They're also super friendly, which made me feel totally comfortable having them working in my house for a full day both times. I will be more than happy to hire these guys for every project I have that they are equipped to tackle!
